Creative Circle, Chicago Review

I have been using Creative Circle since I got out of college. They are extremely nice people! They have connections with some big-time brands with generous pay. They helped me find a position with the Hyatt! 10/10 will use them whenever I am job hunting. My mom also used their services when she was working in Advertising and found successful positions. Yeah some weeks have more positions than others but that s normal. It also depends on the specific jobs your looking for and the time of the year it is.

I've had some amazing jobs with these folks! Here's to 2021 Creative Circle...

I've had my inbox flooded daily with CC emails for 2 years, and responded to hundreds with no response. Within the same timeframe I have been hired by another talent agency, and have contracted for over a year. I am not seeing the value of these emails, nor are they tailored to my preferences or qualifications. They seem to be a mass sales recruiting blast versus a well thought out candidate screen.

If you are a professional, don t waste your time with these people. The job postings they present to you are seldom worthwhile. The average rate they are willing to offer is barely above what one can earn at a Bed Bath and Beyond and 90% of the time they don t respond to emails.

Creative Circle's clients don't even enjoy working with them. Agencies would rather pay the actual talent a full and fair rate vs paying some wannabe recruiter who doesn t respond to emails. Agency has to pay a ridiculous upcharge and the freelancer gets less money. The only winning party here is Creative Circle.

I have seen this company advertise the same job position continually for 3 years but in the first 2, I applied twice. Never heard anything. Logically, if you are looking for someone in a managerial position and you hire someone, you don't keep reposting that position every few months. And if you couldn't find someone to exceed your standards, after at the most 1 year, most companies would consider the minimal qualifying applicants.
It just doesn't make sense.

I had registered with several other creative agencies during my yearlong job hunt, but none were fruitful. I finally decided to register with Creative Circle and within 6 days had a freelance gig lined up. While I was on the contract assignment they also scored me an interview with a direct-to-hire gig. Happy to say the interview panned out and I got the job! While I was working with Creative Circle I also received way more job notification emails than I had with the other agencies combined. If I ever needed to look for work in the future, lesson learned, I'd start with them first.

I ve worked on and off with them since around 2009 with good success. The recruiters were always really nice and I found it easy to get work. Maybe some people shouldn t be so quick to blame the recruiter when they aren t finding success.

I was contacted by Courtney, who helped introduce me to the design team. She was extremely educated on the UX/design field and was so great to talk with!
I was then picked up by Bridget who I worked with for my current position. She was a dream to work with and gave me encouragement and understanding throughout the whole process. She was quick to respond and gave great insight into how to prepare for each round of interviews.
Everyone I worked with some truly a delight! Would highly recommend this group for any full time or freelance work!

I really can't understand the low ratings. My recruiter was helpful, responsive, and personable. They have placed me twice and that's two out of the two emails I responded to. Getting paid weekly is great and the rate is generous. Also, both positions I accepted were fun and right in my industry. The companies I placed at had friendly "co-workers" and teams. I truly can't say enough about the positive experience I've had with Creative Circle.

"Creative Circle"...well, not sure about creative but the circle definitely exists. The circle where nothing from outside comes in(attention to applications) and nothing from inside goes out(their response). They'll send you a ton of emails about opportunities but don t ever rely on hearing back from them.
