Well I drove up from Cedar Rapids this morning and what a great place wish I'd have spent a little more time looking around. I went to look at kayaks and the employee who helped me Mark I believe answered all my questions and I ended up buying a Jackson coosa from them and cant wait to get it on the water and check it out I didnt look at all the stuff they had got caught up in the fact they actually had a good selection of the kayaks I was interested in but seem like they would have a good assortment of what ever your out door desire could be.

Notheast Iowa is lucky to have such a great store. Paddling, hiking, backpacking, camping, rock climbing, paddle board rentals, kayak rentals, and more. Great, knowledgeable staff and a good selection of quality brands. Two thumbs up!

I love CrawDaddy Outdoors. We come here to get our camping and kayak gear. They have a big selection and it is great that I am able to shop locally as well. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I am really happy with my life jacket and camping supplies that I purchased!

Sweet outdoor sports shop. Three levels of shopping. They do trips for kayaking at different locations and times throughout the summer. There is a large selection of kayaks to choose from. The staff was awesome and they answered all my kayaking questions I had. I will be back to pick up a kayak in the near future.

somewhat misleading advertising... its the first Google result when you search "waverly iowa bike shop" and they proudly display "bike tech" in the window , but do you think that they would have a tire tube patch kit? save money and go to Miller Ace hardware. they have it all and will lead you right to it (unlike Walmart where the Crawdaddy employee recommended I go to get what I needed)

Great place for any camping, kayaking or outdoor needs. Very friendly staff that were able to answer any questions we had. Had a little bit of everything. They didn't happen to have any kayaks we were interested in, but that's not their fault. The kayak industry in the area has exploded this summer and everyone is sold out of kayaks. Will def go back again to check their stuff out in the future.

None better, have bought 2 Kayaks, numerous backpacks, camping stuff, etc. Everyone is very helpful, very passionate and knowledgeable about everything they sell, and have tons of patience to make sure you get exactly what you need. They also go out of their way for Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. Have dealt with them for a lot of years, one of my favorite places to go!

Crawdaddy s is the most amazing outdoor store we have in the Cedar Valley especially if it involves kayaking! They have fantastic quality outdoor clothing and gear. If you want a place with incredible knowledgeable staff or to take a trip guided by the Crawdaddy staff, this is your place!

I have lived in Waverly for 2 years now and have wandered by this store multiple times. I have been published in the local paper and have spoken in a nearby town for veterans so I am very familiar with the outdoors, but no employee asked if I needed help and one of the employees made an remark that Iw as "buying" the entire store" when I was making my selections. The selection is great and the products they carry are excellent so I went in and purchased over 700 dollars of items on 1 purchase.
When I got home 2 pairs of their 30$ apiece underwear didnt fit, I tried to return them without the reciept and packaging and they REFUSED! I will NEVER SHOP AT THIS STORE AGAIN.

I reccomend CrawDaddy Outdoors to anyone looking for outdoor gear in the Cedar Valley area. I stopped in to purchase some Christmas presents last month and was very impressed by the staff and product selection. The gentleman helping me was more than willing to answer any questions I had and had great product reccomendations! He even stayed a few minutes past close to make sure I had gotten everything on my list!

This is one of the best outdoors store with high quality products (emphasis on clothing, camping, paddling, winter gear) and extremely knowledgeable and professional staff. Locally owned, they have a vested interest in the community and are always a leading sponsor for outdoor activities such as swimming, paddling, trail running, camping, etc. Clothing is top notch, not your big box experience.

Love this place I've bought a few watercraft from them most recently an old town 106 kayak which I just ran the seat over the other day I have a trip this weekend and the replacement hasn't showed up yet they sold me one off a display model today and saved my trip thanks again!!
