I ve never experienced such terrible service at a restaurant before. From the wait staff to the manager it was extremely unprofessional.

Lovely carryout this week. Food was hot and delicious. Loved the thank you note on the bag. The risotto was wonderful and the green beans were properly cooked (not mush!) I did carry out (because COVID) but the staff were masked and friendly. So wish SC allowed carry out cocktails!

All I can say is WOW!! Every single thing we tasted was absolutely amazing! Short ribs are moist, tender and delicious! We had it with the out of this world MacNCheese - seriously guys- sooo yum! pasta was perfect and cheese rich, creamy wow!! Fried Okra and soo tasty crab cake along with tasty drinks - wine and dont miss the Blackberry margarita. Pretty rare that you see such attention to detail and obvios pride in every single dish! Staff was so warm, welcoming and friendly. Also attentive to every need! Just great!! Go and order anything with confidence that it will be amazing!

Not very impressed. I tried the award winning Mac And cheese , and it wasn t very good in my opinion. Maybe the cook did something different this time? We tried several other dishes and they were the same. It was like they we all missing a little something. The quality of the food vs prices did not jive. They think very highly of their food from the prices, but the actual food quality didn t match the price. The service was stellar, but I m there for the food. I cannot recommend.

I'm obsessed with their mac and cheese! Once I read that Esquire named it the best, I had to see for myself. I order it with lobster, which includes a bit of a pricey upcharge of $15...but it's worth it to me. I've also had the scallops with lobster risotto and green beans, and that entree was yummy too. Every time I come home to Mt. Pleasant to visit the fam, I make a stop here. The cocktails are good too. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants!

The food was awesome. The service was excellent. We had the mac and cheese (multiple award winning by the way) and added bacon. I highly suggest the bacon. Really crisp and fresh. Not days old bacon at all. We also got the brisket gnocchi. OMG. I went to Eastern Europe last year and had authentic stuff. This will keep up with it. The brisket fell apart and the taste of the brisket and sauce that it's cooked in, matched with the creamy sauce of the gnocchi itself, holy ****. Flavor explosion. So go and enjoy for yourself. You won't be mad with yourself that you tried. Maybe just mad because now your going to need a treadmill or a long run.

The food was delicious and the service was great.

First and last time here. Service was so slow 20 mins to get 3 glasses of wine and a beer. Had reservations and got sat right away but when asked if we could have one of the several open booths for our party of 4 was told there would be a wait hmmmm. Two of the booths never got sat another was sat with 2 people 45 mins later there were 4 of us and another 20 mins with 3 people. Besides the hostess that i assume was just too lazy to let us move the horribly slow service and the fact after reading several other reviews that we never received the bread which apparently is very good the food was not impressive. Considering the rib eye came out with the two ceaser salads then few mins later the side order of mac and cheese and a different persons tuna came out lastly a few mins after that our chicken marsala and another persons side of mac and cheese came out. What restaurant services tables like this. The ribeye had no flavor even though cooked perfectly and great cut of meat. The tuna was basic and we all felt this award winning mac and cheese was nothing near the claim. Our chicken marsala was delish except it didnt taste like marsala but was a wonderful flavor nonetheless. Overall none of us will be returning

Better than I remembered from when I lived there 10 yrs ago

We have enjoyed this place before, but today at brunch I waited 40 minutes to get their "signature" brunch item, the Monte Cristo sandwich. What showed up was this fried brick of a sandwich. The fact that this even left the kitchen is alarming.

I ordered the Mac and Cheese with scallops for lunch. The charge was $12.50 for the Mac and Cheese and $15 for the scallops. When lunch came, there were only two scallops on the plate! I should have sent it back and ordered something else. There was way too much mac and cheese and not enough of anything else to provide a variety. I don t think I ll be back.

The people are friendly, and provide excellent service. The food is amazing and definitely a must visit.

I cannot speak highly enough about our Christmas takeout dinner!!! We ordered the amazing mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, green bean casserole, roasted carrots, cranberries (I loved the cranberries so, so much), gravy, deviled eggs and More

Firstly, I just want to acknowledge that it s been hard for restaurants since the pandemic, which is why it s important to note the hard work restaurant staffs have been doing, but what I had at Crave today made me upset and hungry when I left that restaurant. When we got to the restaurant, it took us three different servers to seat us and 15 minutes in an nearly empty restaurant.

Once seated, we looked over the lunch menu and when we didn t like what we saw on the lunch menu but like what we saw on the dinner menu and wanted to order from that menu, we couldn t because we were told by our server that it s lunchtime and we could only order from the lunch menu. So we waited to order from the dinner menu an hour and a half to order from that menu. Our server didn t know the menu and didn t let us know when she was leaving, unacceptable.

The only reason I gave this place 2 stars was because of Jesse, the bartender and the soup we ordered. I ordered the Hot Buttered Britches and Small Batch Manhattan, while my wife had the Dark and Stormy and the Blackberry & Basil Margarita. Our friend had the Spiced Cranberry Mule and Coquito. The drinks were top notch and worth the money spent in them. Also, the She Crab Soup and Tomato Bisque were also on point.

Unfortunately, the rest of the meal and some of the service made me angry. First, I understand this place has numerous awards for their Mac and Cheese, but it was not good, not in the least. The children with us all had the mac and cheese and they all did not eat all the food. The sauce was grainy and had no flavor. The chicken had come with one of the pasta dishes was dry and flavorless. The pasta was cooked well, but nothing else was good. The Mussels were cooked well, tender, but the broth was weak, under flavored and under seasoned.

My wife had the ribeye, but because the mac and cheese was not good, she opted for the mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus, our friend had the crab cake app and the hangar steak with chimichurri. I had the crispy calamari, which was not crispy at all. It was too greasy, the breading was falling off the calamari and there was a taste of cinnamon in breading. My wife s mashed potatoes were cold, and while the steak was cooked well, it was under seasoned and they didn t have steak sauce. Our friend s crab cake was delicious, but with both steaks, the fat wasn t trimmed very well at all.

Lastly, the dessert order was not taken properly and was mixed upon two different occasions. The cookie was not well received by those who had it and it seemed that the chocolate and vanilla ice cream was the best things that came out of the kitchen for the dessert.

This place adds the sales tax and liquor tax onto your food and drink bill then computes the default tip on that total. Tacky, otherwise food and service was 5 stars.

It was me and my wife's anniversary night. All she talked about was the restaurant Crave. We waited 45 minutes to be seated with several available seats open. We asked to sit outside. I had to go back in an asked to be seated. When I did so they told me it would be another 30 minute wait. All the while seats are available outside. They sit us in a dark corner and i couldn't even read the menu. We waited another 15 minutes and nobody asked us what we wanted to drink. So I finally went to the bar to get the she-crab soup she had been craving. As I'm asking the bartender for it he repeatedly tells me to hurry up with my order. Saying "come on, come on, come on, hurry up" needless to say I walked out before I got hostile. It was an all around horrible experience we will never go back. And out of all nights for it to go bad. It had to be our anniversary night. I was not pleased.

Food is always delicious, comfortable atmosphere, and the staff is great.

Excellent cocktails, food and service! So glad I found a place in Mt Pleasant that can really make a Manhattan! You need to check this place out!

We always have great service here, plus fast and deliciously cooked food. Ask for Paul, he really took care of us!

Love this place so much - short rib Mac and cedar plank salmon are our favorites. The dine in experience is 5 stars every time, but this is specifically about take out. We called 3 times before someone picked up for the curbside pickup, and they wouldn t honor the promo code for 15% off take out which wouldn t work online. Great food as always, but we probably won t order takeout again.

MAC & CHEESE. The worlds greatest, right here in Mount Pleasant. This stuff is what brings people together, even if you gotta drive almost to Myrtle Beach to get it. Bar staff is exceptional.

The staff was most accommodating during our visit for lunch. Had she crab soup as well as the Fried Chicken BLT, both of which were yummy.

Great food and good service. Just a little weak on atmosphere. Almost can t figure out what it s identity is.

We were very excited about the mac & cheese with pulled pork. Unfortunately, my husband and I both found it disappointing. There was far too much sauce which didn't have much of a flavor to it. It had a very bland flavor. For $18 ($10 mac + $8 pork) we expected a truly enjoyable mac & cheese + pulled pork experience, but instead we left feeling disappointed. I will say the side salad was absolutely delicious and our waitress was attentive and kind. The pulled pork was tasty.

Had the Herb Steak Oscar, 3/4lb Crave burger and the Buttermilk Country Fried Chicken. The chicken was delicious and the crispy potato salad that came with it was amazing. The burger was incredible. The Herb Steak looked amazing, but ordered a medium and ended up with rare. Not a big deal, ate it anyway as I'm not a fan of returning food. Excellent experience. This is our 3rd time there since Father's day. This has been added as a go-to place for us. Staff is courteous and professional. If you haven't been, make it the next place you go. Have a bloody Mary while you are there. You won't be disappointed.

Had the tasso ham and shrimp hash with a extra spicy bloody mary, both with delicious.

Second time coming here. First time was not every enjoyable and neither was this experience. Mac and cheese was al dente and salty. Eggs where very salty. Took forever just to get some butter and even then it was maple butter. Gave us the wrong things and the service was horrible

The costumer service is amazing, the company delivers fresh, healthy meals that promote longevity and reducing inflammation.
I would highly recommend them.

After years of people talking about how great this place is and the food. I took my family there today celebrating my daughter's graduation. And received the worst service I've ever had. The server James who I had to get his name from the hostess as we left because he didn't even introduce himself was as rude as could be.Treated my family like we came in dressed in trash bags. Unfortunately the food was really good but I will never bring my family back there.

Had such a wonderful time!! Our first time here. The atmosphere is perfect. The food is phenomenal and the service is oyt of this world. Patrick was our server and ge was amazing! Treats all customers as if they are the only ones there. Thank you Patrick!

Never disappoints! We can t say enough about the warm friendly atmosphere, the spectacular service from truly happy and friendly staff and of course truly amazing food. Everyone is so welcoming and makes you feel special each and every time. Literally everything on the menu is great; I may be partial to the short ribs and chicken marsala. Their incredibly unique Mac and Cheese cannot be explained, it must be experienced; each topping including the pulled pork, the shrimp, and oh Lord the bacon... SO good!! A shout out to the bar staff for top notch creativity and cocktails to remember. Thanks for a wonderful experience.... again and again.

Pretty darn expensive but the Macaroni is really good.

Hidden gem- Joel was fantastic! Great service and food was unreal. The Mac and cheese is all it's cracked up to be, and the burgers were great. Not to mention the sweet potato muffins before the meal! Great experience, would highly recommend!

We were in Charleston for a baseball tournament and happened upon Crave because it was next to our hotel. The food was OUTSTANDING!!!! It was so good that we went back on our last night. We met Jeff one of the managers and he could not have been nicer. Try the gnocchi and short rib, the fried green beans, the mac and cheese, and the Cookie skillet! Basically, have it all!!! Thank you Jeff for taking such good care of us!

I ordered a Thanksgiving take and bake meal from Crave and everything was out of this world. The ham was deliciously glazed and the turkey was moist and flavorful (even the breast and I m a dark meat girl). All of the sides were traditional but elevated. Perfect for the holidays. Couldn t be more impressed with the service, too. They made sure my order was correct and called to confirm on the day to be sure we avoided any confusion or missing items. Truly top notch!

Doing away with the cobb salad has broken my heart. You are essentially miss trunchbull.

Good mac and cheese cooked al dente with nice flavor. I would suggest sharing this because eating it as your main course might be a bit much. Smoked BBQ pork sandwich and she crab soup were good too.

Best macncheese in the WORLD. Okay mac n cheese is purely american, but the quality of the cheddar makes a difference. Not the cheapest place, but the service and food quality/quantity here is consistent and what makes it worth the money.

I love this place. It's really cool they have a late night menu, not many places do anymore. Food is outstanding and the staff is always very polite and nice. When it's warm enough, the outdoor seating is great. The people watching can be entertaining all by itself!

Consistently good (even with to go orders). Nice waitstaff. Large space which makes it more likely to have availability. Dog friendly outdoor area. Vegetarian options.

Welcoming to a group. We sat outside in the most perfect weather. Everyone's dish looked delicious and all plates were cleaned. I drooled over the Mac & Cheese but ordered the crab & fried green tomatoes with poached eggs. We had a lovely time.

Crave was recommended by family. I found it to be nothing special & not worth the expense. Was staying at hotel across the street so ordered family's meals to go. Only high point was the Burger ...cooked perfectly even though the lettuce was wilted: the fries were soggy & not seasoned so were inedible. Heard about how delicious the Mac & cheese is but the cheese sauce texture was "broken", i.e., curdled: it was also rather bland with the exception of the grated cheese on top. Husband ordered the calamari: the top on the dipping sauce was not secure so it spilled and the calamari was drenched in the spicy sauce & he does not like spicy food. I asked if there were napkins & forks, etc in the bag and was assured there were but none were in the bag when I opened it. Disappointing experience. Will not be back.

This place was great, even though the soup was too salty. I had the she crab soup. I'd never heard of it! De-licious. It got too salty after the first few bites and had to take the rest home. The salt taste was overwhelming.

I was really looking forward to this meal, especially based on reviews of the Mac and cheese. Sadly, I left disappointed. The Mac and cheese was just okay and certainly not life changing as stated in a review by Esquire. My husband s steak was cooked to the proper temperature but lacked seasoning and they didn t have any sauce to enhance the flavor. We will not be trying crave again.

Get the mac and cheese here. It's on some top 10 lists for best mac. We got the lobster mac and cheese and it was by far the best we've ever had. Ended up getting 2 regular ones to go. Rest of the food is very good too

What they say about the mac and cheese is true. Uh-maz-ing!

Food is good, however as a pescatarian and lactose intolerant there's not a whole lot on the menu that I can eat there. Everything seems to have cheese and bacon. So I only go when I have to if friends pick the place.

Highly disappointed with food and had to go back because they left out some of the items. Substituted sides without my knowledge or request. She crab soup taste likes it came from a can.

Went to this restaurant for brunch. This is not a restaurant for vegetarian ppl.! I ordered coffee it came with lipstick stain on it. Then I ordered English muffin with jam. The waiter states they do not have Jam. It was very disappointing! Customer service was horrible! Left hungry!

I typically don t get collards but they were so good! Crunchy potato salad was on point. Joey our waiter was awesome. Everyone s energy was great. If you looking for a great place. This is the place! No doubt, No regrets! Great meal.

We tried this for the first time recently when we went a graduation dinner. The service was really good and the server was helpful in pointing us in the right direction. We had the Mac and cheese, burger and braised short rib gnocchi. Everything came out perfect and was delicious.

Crave is one of my favorite restaurants in the Charleston area. The food is fresh and always delicious. The atmosphere is great and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend.

Left vinaigrette off a dish that was clearly on the menu, brought the wrong entree, had to wait a while for the right one, then watched the chef lick his fingers and continue working, as we left early. The food was decent, the customer service abysmal. This was not in keeping with the kind of restaurant experiences we've had in the Charleston area.

Don't order the fried chicken sandwich if you go there on mother's day. That sandwich is slap-yo-momma delicious.

I had the Iron Steak on a cream spinach bed. The meat was done exactly to my liking and it was all very tasty. The reason I give it 5 stars is they have a gluten free chocolate cake that was incredible! Gold gluten free desserts are so hard to find and this was beyond my expectations. It was moist with a deep chocolate taste. This restaurant is a definite when I pass through again!

Food is good. GREAT mac and cheese and we had very good wait service.

Very nice atmosphere and setting. 2 TVs above the bar for sports. Beer was cold and excellent. I was there during Saturday brunch, so a little smaller menu but something on there for everyone. Ended up ordering the Award Winning Macaroni and Cheese. -$12 I added scallops as well -$15 because I love scallops. Mac and cheese was nothing short of amazing. Creamy, perfectly cooked. Not an overwhelming cheese flavor. Scallops were disappointing. Not because if the flavor - they tasted excellent, but because for $15 I received a whopping 2 scallops. Save yourself the money and skip the overpriced seafood. I think for the price and quality, 5 scallops would have been adequate. Overall very good food, just overpriced for some items.

Our favorite restaurant in mt pleasant. I can't seem to break away from the pork melanaise and my husband always gets the chicken marsala in spite of the other dishes that tempt us every time.

Two words: pecan mayonnaise. Seriously one of the better BLT's I've ever had and that mayo made it.

This place is amazing. The staff is so attentive and bubbly they make sure you have everything you ll ever need! The food is to die for the Mac and cheese with pulled pork is amazing! I will definitely be eating here again!

Used to be a favorite place of mine but has gone way down hill in terms of quality of service and food. Will not be back.
