My two dogs get very excited when I drive into the parking lot here! They share a spacious area. I appreciate how understanding they have been with my family members who are boarding their fur baby for the first time. The staff fielded any questions and was happy to offer a tour to the fur parents before my grand-pup did his practice day.
I recently boarded my Jack Russell, Nate for a few days at Crate Escape when I was visiting Vermont and the time share I was staying at was not pet friendly. The staff was friendly, professional, and communicated well in regards to the needs of my dog during his stay. When I called to check on Nate, the staff even sent me a picture of him which showed how he was enjoying himself. Thank you Guys! You are Appreciated!

They are incredibly kind people here, love my dog and she gets genuinely excited when I drop her off. Beyond having a good time at Crate Escape, she also develops good relationships with the other dogs who go here.
Princess Poppy jas her tail wagging as fast as she can make it go everytime i arrive. Happy as she can be to go there everyday she goes. Loves her friends there and the attention she gets matches hers attention at home.
We have been bringing our pups there for over 10 years. Never had any issues. They have always been wonderful and very caring. I highly recommend The Crate Escape for both daycare and boarding!

Had a great experience! Dropped off our pup, Behr, who had never boarded alone without his brother. The staff was reassuring and kind. Picked up a great smelling, big smiling happy Behr. We will be using crate escape from now on!
The Crate Escape in Richmond is an amazing doggy daycare. Our Springer Spaniel arrives excited with boundless energy and always leaves exhausted from a fun day of play. The staff really care about him as evidenced in the way they act and speak to him.
The staff also went out of their way to ensure our dog was taken care of during the birth of our first baby last year. They accommodated our last minute boarding request while we were at UVM. Thank you again Crate Escape for taking such good care of Murphy!
Our 7-year old, high-energy dog has been going to Crate Escape since he was a puppy. Though it's always hard to leave him for the day or longer, we know he's getting good care and attention. The staff always greet him kindly and are available to answer questions. Our dog is definitely enthusiastic about his visits at Crate Escape.
My dog Dwight loves going to the Crate Escape to play with all his friends. I always bring home a tired happy pup.

They were amazing. Rocky spent the whole week while we were on vacation. He made so many friends. They also updated us on his stay.
We contacted the Crate Escape about having our puppy there for daycare after having her home for three weeks and having her vaccines up to date (which is the requirements they list on their website) and let them know she's 4.5 months old. We completed the application process and then was told she has to be home for 6 months prior to being in daycare there. I'm sure their services are great based on other reviews, but their website is very unclear and it was incredibly disappointing.

Our dogs' home away from home! I've been sending my dogs to the Crate Escape since 2008, and we couldn't be happier! Our two-year-old shepherd gets so excited when I tell her she's going to "school," and when I drop her off for daycare, she runs in without even a glance back at me. She comes home tired and happy, for sure. We're so lucky to have such a great place for our dogs to play and feel safe.

The Crate Escape (CE) in Richmond, VT is my dog Pietrina's (Pina's) home-away-from home. She absolutely loves spending the day and occasional overnight at the CE. The staff, including DeeDee, Katie, Sierra, Mark, Meg, Mike, and Kylie and others are kind, professional, attentive, and very expert at dog care. As well, the CE hosts many other littles and also big dogs, so my Pina socializes with friends during playtimes. We are very fortunate to have the Crate Escape in Richmond for doggie daycare.
Have been bringing my dog here over a year. They are professional, kind, and my dog always leaves happy. They seem to actually care about your pet. The manager woman is sweet and wonderful- and tries to help you with any issues or concerns!
I was impressed that a "trial day" is required before dogs are accepted at Crate Escape. True, this cost us one day of day care, but I felt better leaving him there overnight knowing that things went well. Our dog, Poco, spent the July 4th holiday weekend at Crate Escape. This was his first time at Crate Escape, and I expect there will be many more! Thanks!
My 2 pups love to go 'on vacation'... They go there with tails wagging, jumping up to kiss everyone they see... I pick them up with wagging tails(but wonderfully tired out).
I believe they closed a little later in Richmond, due to the virus, because I happened to be out of the country and would not be able to pick them up any earlier. I was nervous about the borders, but I knew they were safe and happy and that they would work with me, if I was detained in these trying times...
