Cozy Cafe... You better get cozy because it's going to take awhile. It took 15 minutes for us to get a cup of coffee and over an hour for our dishes... This place struggles. The waitress was very nice but she was super overwhelmed. As for the dishes... The food was ok. Better quality ingredients than a First Watch for example. My wife's tomato still had the sticker on it though... So they need to take more attention to prepping their ingredients. The biskets and gravy.... Were honestly pretty bad. One step up from McDonald's... Sad... Just sad. My wife's croissant sandwich was good and the quiche I had was also well developed. Honestly I cannot see myself coming back here... 1.5 hours for a breakfast is a bit long. First impressions are important... This was not a great one. I gave 3 stars because what the dishes they did do well... Were good... Wait times and that gravy... Horrible.
Cozy's is amazing everytime. Cozy herself is delightful and remembers people. I recommend this place to everyone. One of kc's best kept secrets
Not at all what we were expecting from the name. It was excellent Italian. We will definitely go back.
Very good breakfast meal. A bit on the expensive side but good. Restaurant appeared to be clean and well managed. Very pleasant atmosphere. Servers extremely efficient and friendly. Great Sunday morning experience.
I ordered the lasagna and a side salad. Everything was really fresh and great.
My husband enjoyed his omelet.
Nice people. We will be back.
Great little spot. Pricing was as expected. Great breakfast selection. Good quality
Service was good. Nice friendly atmosphere. The food was pretty subpar though. And the espresso was not the greatest either. Not a huge fan.
Great restaurant with fresh breakfast options. Exceptional service from the owner herself! Good neighborhood cafe to stop in to.
Very good place for coffee and its owner very tempting to the customer. Their food is very delicious
We were excited to try a local breakfast place. Went around 1030 on a Sunday with our 4yo and 1yo.
It seemed like there were waaay too many employees walking around the small dining area. And if you asked foranything, it took forever to get it. When someone delivered our food, we asked for a small plate for our 1yo. Three minutes later we were still waiting and asked another lady who got it right away. The only girl on the floor we could count on to her what we asked for was a young girl with a dark, straight ponytail. Wish we would have got her name. Also wished we could have just tipped her.
Food was okay. My husband felt that his omelet and hashbrowns were way too greasy. He had a meat mushroom omelet and all he could taste was the cooking oil. It also seemed like liquid egg mix.
For the price, that was disappointing.
Kids breakfast meals were $7. Maybe that's to deter little kids. Ours were the only kids in the place. We were surprised by the fancier interior given the look and name. (To me, "Cozy's" seems to imply a cozy, down home feel, but I was wrong)
I work in a restaurant so I understand it can be hard to respond to customers needs right away when its busy. It just seemed like there was no organization of the dining room staff. Everyone seemed to be wandering somewhat aimlessly.
This is a great little whole in the wall breakfast, brunch, and lunch joint. It has become one of our favorite spots for sone go-to home cooked meals.
