The happy hour was $3 off tacos and enchilada meals on 4/21/21.
Pomegranate margarita was mostly ice but it was amazing.
The blackened fish of the day was absolutely amazing get that for sure!
The waitress was fine, a little slow to fill up out waters and didn t bring me a item I asked for.
Locals know this spot for amazing Mexican food. When in season the lobster is a must have as well. Make sure you call ahead during busy times. It s a popular spot.
Beautiful easy going spot to enjoy some views and some food. I highly highly recommend the "drunken chicken" not called that on the menu, but you'll see it.

I can see why this is a local favorite! Yes, get the calamari tacos--they are great! I didn't realize that they come both fried and blackened--I got them blackened, per my waiter's recommendation and they were amazing (and less guilt).
Currently, during COVID, they have both patio seating and opened part of their parking lot for outdoor dining. Service is quick and friendly and it seems this place is always pretty crowded. I went on a Sunday afternoon and there was just a short wait--not bad at all. They also have takeout.
Coyote Grill is the epitome of a Mexican American restaurant. Free chips and salsa. Delicious and strong margaritias. Generous portions, high quality and flavorful food. They have a large menu and while I haven't tried it all, the locals I've talked to assured me it's all good.
I love that the patio overlooks the ocean--it's such a fun vibe! I will definitely stop here every time I make it to the area.

Outstanding Veggie Fajitas and Pomegranate Margarita and great service! Calamari Tacos were also excellent. We got there about 45 minutes before our reservation and were still seated promptly.
Good food, nice ambiance, solid service with valet parking. But be careful when reviewing your bill. If split your tab with a friend, the machine will "suggest" % options that are based on the original tab. If you and your friend are not careful, you'll pay double the tip and nobody gives you a heads up.
The only thing nice about this restaurant was the view of the ocean. First the valet charges $7 to park your car literally 10 feet away. (The $7 is not the problem, but I think the valet is the only source of actual profit for this restaurant). We were seated outside and I smelled something like a standing dishwater smell coming from the inside of the restaurant. Then the waitress took our order. (She was nice and pleasant). Then this guy brought our lemonades, (which was horrible) without even saying a word or looking at us. He was cold to other customers as well. The meal my partner had was ok but nothing special. This is an honest description about our experience based on that day. Hopefully it was just an off day and will be a lot better on other days. Thank you for reading this.
Great deck with ocean view...good chips n salsa..I ordered chicken fajitas. Very good. My companion chicken burrito..he hated it! Server was not attentive...our bus boy was essentially our server. Worth waiting to sit out on deck
