Had a great time walking the puppy, this park is a treasure for the Dayton area! Donations at the park in memory of family members that have past, of benches and other items benefit all. Possibly a better tribute to ones lives other than flowers or contribution to charity organization that misuse the funds.

This place is lovely. On any given day you can find people here taking photos of each other for senior pictures, wedding pictures, selfies, etc. The scenery is beautiful, especially in the Fall, with various brick or gravel paths. Lots of space to explore and lots of benches to sit on and relax.

This is one of those places where man does a nice job of blending the unnatural with the natural. There are areas that allow you to have a choreographed journey as a well as areas that allow you to feel that you are an explorer. Places to rest and meditate and places to sit and admire. A good place to be reminded that there is more to life than the daily grind.

Nice, relaxing, beautiful park. Dont bring human food to feed the fish and turtoises, it is prohibited. I have seen people photo shooting in this park a lot. A family park for everyone to getaway from the hustle and bustle of one's busy life.

A beautiful and educational park. There are a mix of paved, gravel, and dirt paths and three loop trails that range between .6 and 1.1 miles. The perennial garden and ponds are beautiful - the ponds have lots of turtles and some very large beautiful koi fish and ducks. The perennial garden was full of people taking portrait photos...but the trails were not crowded. The wilderness areas are clearly cared for, not too much poison ivy, and lots of attention to creating the natural habitat that allows for education and observation. Lots and lots of info on unique plants and butterflies!

Beautiful park and nice trails for easy walking. Nice mix of gardens and walking in the woods. Also seems to be popular for photography as we saw several nature photographers as well as recent graduates.

This is a wonderful, relaxing place to go on your own, or with your family. It's peacful, educational, and free. Step into the visitors center and smell the natural wood. There is an event room perfect for many different types of events.

I take my kids there for birthday events, and always try to make it to the butterfly house. If your adventerous climb the tower for the most spectacular view of the Miami Valley. Just know the tower isn't for those afraid of heights or with health issues.

Cox Arboretum is also a nice place to walk your dog. Keep it on the leash and clean up after it. Most people are consciencous, and are responsible with theor pets. I recomend visiting this place if your in the area.

Love to walk through the well maintained acres of lush foliage, explore the butterfly house, and am super delighted that the treehouse is back. Our grandkids love it too. We take every out of town guest there. We also love taking locals who have not realized the magnificent park here in West Carrollton.

I can't believe it took me this long to finally come and check this park out. I absolutely love it and cane wait to come back. The beautiful ponds have ducks which are cute and the walking trail is 1.8 miles if you take the yellow paths that go off of the main path and if you stay in the main path it's 1.1 miles. It's a gorgeous walk with plenty of hills that keep you sweating and it's quite. Can't wait to bring my family here.

Perfect place for a evening dog stroll

Perfect place for a evening dog stroll
Hadnt been in years but it seems to have improved. It is too bad that it is sandwiched between two major arteries of traffic, maybe some sound walls would help deflect the noise. Nice green spot to get away fro the hustle and bustle anyway. Cant wait till they get the tree house up and running. Perfect spot for a picnic.

Beautiful place! There are short trails to walk so if you want to get out into nature with small children it is very doable. There are benches and many places to sit around the different ponds. Cox Arboretum is a great place to visit during every season.
