Cowabunga Bay Review

Did get too many pictures here but definitely worth coming on a nice hot day. Season passes are too bad and am honestly considering getting one myself. Not the biggest water park I've been too but loved the vibe here. Nice food options. Hawaiin shaved ice was sooooooo good. Kiddy pool area with slides and etc for the smaller kids. They even host movies and from what it looked like possibly fire works. So might be a a nice place to go on the fourth if you don't already have plans!!!

Staff is awesome, slides are awesome. The rocket is my favorite water slide ever!

We have season passes and enjoy every time we go. Just a great place for family fun and a good sunburn lol.

I like location. Don't like price parking going up. wet and wild cheaper. Food very expensive. Like how I can easily go back and forth to car to get sunscreen or food. Enjoy rides but once it is busy hard to wait in line so long. Love wave pool.

Picked up 2 season passes! It is a must! My anxiety is usually high in large group settings but everything was spaced out and made my social anxiety low. which is why I bought the season pass so I can avoid the lines and get right inside.

Horrible horrible company. Poorly managed and no sense of what the hell they are doing. Longestvwait times ever. Dont go!

this place doesn t care about you. This place cares only about their image. They will do everything in their power to blame the customer, and will never take responsibility for the state of their own park. This is the type of park to blame its guests for poop in the pool. They ll do everything to look like a decent water park, except actually fix their park. Take a look at the reviews and you can see this is not the place to go. Just go Wet N Wild.

Huge place to spend the day and cool off plenty of chairs and Cabanas hot dogs hamburgers ice cream and even a bar discounts after 5 p.m.

Always a blast! Can get quite busy, but if you go on an off day, the lines are quick.

It's not too big but it is a good place to bring your family for some fun in the sun to stay cool.

There was 7 of us three adults and 4 kids. We all had a fun time and just let the kids play. My two sons like the wave pool the best.

Would be 5 star if you did not have to pay for parking! Its crazy that you do. Lines are not too bad usually, and they have great food and fun for the whole family. Much bigger then wet and wild.

Was fun but the lines were too long, and some of the lifeguards were chatting instead of working. And the food was not so great, especially for the price.

This park can be fun but they are extremely inefficient. I ve seen as little as 2 people go down the 6 person slide while 20+ people are waiting in line. They are extremely slow with directions and instructions before sliding which makes the lines just build and take forever.

This is a great place! This is great for families, a date, or even getting a group of friends together. There's a lot to do here. I personally love their lazy river. You can float in there all day and enjoy the sun. And they play great music!

We really like this place each summer. We went to their new Christmas experience last year(2018) and it was a lot of fun. They have refillable cups you can get so each time you come in you can either get free water or discounted sodas, highly recommend that!

Big slides, big fun. Pretty good place, but it there is not much to do if you are in a family and nobody wants to go on the big rides due to them looking a bit dangerous. Good place though for water fun!

Great for adults and kids never a dull moment in this place lots of fun

Had my son's 8 yr old bday party there, we had an amazing time, the entire time was a blast. Lazy river is such a win! The slides were just the right amount of fearful and exciting. Loved it!

It was really fun, though I'm not a huge fan of water parks, I was unexpectedly surprised at how fun it was.

We are season pass holders. The staff is always very polite and they seem happy to help the customers at the food stands. Bathrooms are always pretty nasty.

Good place to bring the family, nice cold water kids are able to go on some small slides, life guards are posted everywhere

Great if you have a range of ages in your group! The kids area is the absolute best we had ages 3,4,7 and 15 there s something for everyone

This Cowabunga is rad! The slides here are awesome, the wave pool is amazing, and also what I like is the fact that there is something for all ages to do. Food though, is another story. It is ridiculously overpriced, mediocre in quality, and an overall rip off. They also will not let you bring in food, even if you are on a gluten free diet. Also, they charge $7 for things like an Uncrustable, which you can get at walmart for 7$, and that gets you a pack of 10! The wave pool is very cool, though and the slides are fun.

Location, settings, tables provide shading, bathrooms are clean. Downfall is cost.

Once again we had a great time with the granddaughters. The service and food was great also.

The kids had a great time here! The rides were fun - that scary kind of fun! Full of adventure and thrill while keeping cool in this Vegas heat. In addition, the funnel cakes were delicious!

They are rude..and most the times rides seem to always have a problem..so regret getting our passes this time...never again

Rented a cabana... service was perfect! Lifeguards are on another level. I was very comfortable with my children swimming around the lifeguards... the walk and scan and take their jobs seriously! Loved it

We have season passes and we love coming here! I will say that I was bothered by one of the life guards.... my son and nephew went down one of the rides and instead of grabbing the children when they flipped she went after the shoe!!!! my son couldnt get back up right away and she went after the shoe!!! Luckly my nephew grabbed him and helped him up because out of the 2 life guards neither were there to help my son... we come here so much and have not had any issues this was just a red flag...

Its really nice. The pogo pass really worked for this. Like it.

Really fun place to escape the heat. Water slides are great. Staff is nice, but they can be a bit slow. Food is okay, pretty average and pricey. I say pack a cooler for the car if you want more variety.

Best water park in Vegas. Staff seems to genuinely care about their guests. They bend over backwards to help where they can. It is a great mix of options for the whole family from toddlers all the way to adults. I feel that is one of the best attributes and what sets them apart from the competition. Food is good and very reasonably priced for a theme park. You can get a whole meal for under $10. Thanks again for a great park.

Great family park for fun in the sun. Prices are reasonable to get in, however the food prices are outrageous for the barley edible "food" they provide. Fix that and you'd have a five star water-park right here in Henderson!

So much fun...but sadly one of the main rides was down so wasnt able to v experience what surely seemed to be the scariest one of all otherwise i had an amazing time with my family

It wasn't too crowded and I like the layout. Lockers are $12 so leave your crap in your car. Parking is $5 if you have their basic season pass.

A lot of fun, but thier four slide set is a poor set up with uneccesary long waits.

Before going to the water park I was reading through these reviews and getting mixed messages. Here is my experience. EXTREMELY friendly staff. Lots of fun things to do. Great water slides. We rented the VIP cabana and had wonderful service from the wait staff for the cabana. The VIP area has it's own pool which was perfect for our group. We had a blast as a group going through the lazy river, and the giant slide! The park was clean. The food was good. The service was good. The only thing I might suggest is some signs pointing out where the entrance to the rides are. That part was confusing until we finally figured out the layout of the park.
We were also there for the fireworks and fire spinners, that was a good show. Overall had a great time and would go there again.

0 stars if I could. My husband and I went on a Sunday afternoon and we paid $80. The young lady said it did not go through although it said approved. She did not seem to know what was going on and she wasn't even paying attention when we paid. She had us run the card again and sure enough he was charged twice. He has called multiple times and they claim it was only charged once, even with him sending them a screenshot of the two charges. They aren't refunding him his $80 and in order for his bank to reimburse it he would have to get a new card entirely. Absolutely ridiculous. Will not be going back.

We went with 5 people with the pogopass. The pogopass cost 35$ a person. I advice everybody to do it like that. Wayyyyy cheaper

You pay a high price even as locals just to be able to ride a few rides. You have a good percent of people walking around in barely a bathing suit. I thought this was a family park not a strip club or the strip. Then to avoid paying a high price we search for the$7.77 deals from August thru September and calendar showed me a month ago only 8/01/2019 so we waited and go back to the website and the dates had changed..so we loss a whole month to come back.
I dont care about the price of parking or food its vegas, but come on!

Great place lots of fun slides lines were not to bad in the morning... Down side is not much shade and the water has so many chemicals it was obnoxious... Also very poor food selection.
