This year we bought season passes and I am so happy that we did. They give you a dollar on your card each time you enter, so if you go often enough, they end up paying you to enjoy the park. The staff is excellent, food is a little pricey but they have deals such as $2 Tuesday pizza slices, and the place is kept quite clean throughout the day. Dislikes would be that they need more tubes for the multi color rides along with letting the guest go up to grab the tube. With only one lifeguard in the pool and another outside grabbing the tubes from everybody, the line gets backed up with people waiting for them to give them the tube. Also more mats are needed for the race slide. That line should be moving much faster

We entered around noon. 1st ride the conveyor belt broke and they said it was a new guy that didnt know how to fix it. Stood in line for 30min. Then did the mat slide no problem. Then we went on the inner tube ride waited 45min we we got up top there was 4 guards up there with 2 standing around and 2 loading. No wonder the line was so long. Then we went down the green slide and got stuck the whole way down. The guards at the bottom said its been like that all day. My question is why have it open. I wasn't about to wait another 30 to 45min for a potentially another bad ride. So we left with a bad experience at 3.

Fun Christmas outing. After you pay the $25 entrance fee, most activities are free and most are designed for kids. It is nice to walk around and see the lights. I think more Christmas games or a scavenger hunt would have entertained the older kids, but it was still fun and exactly what they advertized. The food was simple, but creative. While not of interest to me I think many people enjoyed tastes from around the world. The adult beverages was a hit with my group, warm wine, yes please!

If you go at 2pm to 5pm (when they close) the prices drop from $40 down to $20. It was the best deal ever since we wanted to only play for a couple of hours anyways. However, you have to pay $7 just to park your car and the price of just a medium diet Pepsi and a dipped ice cream cone came out to be $10. Ridiculous prices but nice, friendly and helpful staff. Gave it only 4 stars because of their $7 to park which surprised me since they ARE nothing like "Knott's Soak City " or the " Six Flaggs Hurricane Harbor".....lol....

Worst 4.5 hours of my life!!! In 4.5 hours, we went on 4 rides. Four! Rides! They let people go so slow through the rides! I counted 5 minutes per ride, per person on a few rides. How can you have fun if it takes an hour to ride 10 seconds!?!?!? THE WORST AQUA PARK ON EARTH!!!!!!! Don't waste your $80 for two people, plus $7 for parking and $9 for a mini locker!!!! $8 beer!? HORRIBLE!!!

I brought my kid's to swim and I couldn't enter the park to watch them unless I paid so here I sit in the parking lot that I had to pay to park in. I can afford it, it's the principle and we won't be back. If your from out of town don't waste your time with Cowabunga.

There's no way to describe this intense water park. Still just an infant, Cowabunga Bay is growing as fast as the kid's that can't wait for the next season and new rides and slides.
Ironically, but seriously close to all the fun is Henderson's newest addition in the way of helping those in need.
The Henderson Hospital is brand spanking new and ready, just in case.
Only 1.5 miles from the Sunset Station, it's easily accessible by public transport or your own vehicle.
SUMMER COMES EARLY HERE. DON'T MISS OUT ON THE NIGHTLY FIREWORKS DISPLAY TO END YOUR NIGHT WITH A BANG !

This is our second year as season pass holders and OUR LAST!! There is not enough shade areas, and if you want to get a shade area, you must be there when it opens. The wave pool has become a nightmare, way too many people and not enough tubes (people are constantly taking the tubes and keeping them for the day; also, many tubes are missing, not in good condition and they are not being replaced) when it clearly states not to do that. No one is enforcing the rules, chairs are being moved all over, even though it clearly states that chairs are not to be moved! People coming in with umbrellas, stand alone tents, chairs, etc. Your staff DOES NOT ENFORCE THE RULES, either they don't care or are tired of trying to enforce the rules. Your lifeguards are not attentive to their job and care more about chatting with their peers than watching out for our safety. The park is also looking very dirty. We have also noticed the change in the people that go to the park and it is not for the better. People go into the pool wearing street clothing?????? The wave pool looks really dirty.

The waterpark itself was ok. Not enough rides for an area with a lot of open space. Park has more than enough space to expand. The workers here are children so there customer service goes hand and hand with their age (teenage attitudes) You have to pay for parking which I think is BS especially if you live in the valley. Bottom line, being a native here in Las Vegas Cowabunga Bay and the new Wet n wild have nothing on the classic wet n wild that was on the strip. Honestly, these parks are disappointing but hey they FINALLY brought some so I'll accept it.

Now im upset with the highly vindictive and condescending owners that just had to negatively respond to my personal view. 1 the wave pool is small 35000 sq. ft. and 60% of it is shallow where only 15% of the people trying to enjoy it use it. So 85% of guests are stuffed in to 40% of the space and a section of that is off limits even though its counted in the footage. 2 yes safty is important that is why manufacturers have rigorous testing to avoid litigation that being said they did have more expensive equipment that you could have purchased that would also protect you the same way and provide more guests with entertainment. 3 the wheigh limits are on all your slide attractions 260 lb. max for a single rider don't try playing it off its true. 4 As a service industry specialist and public relations manager it would have been a better service to your company to have been sympathetic to my concerns and tried to offer me something to change my mind and possibly my review. Good job, you definitely have the wrong person responding to the google reviews. It's not large and the wave pool is small so it gets crowded. The rides are not suitable for heavy people they have scales to weigh you it doesn't say your weight but the red light is enough. It's embarrassing enough to be over weight at a public swimming place than be called out on it in front of a large crowd waiting to get on a ride your to heavy for, insulting. How hard would it have beed to build slides out of heavy-duty material so rider weight wouldn't be an issue plus the equipment would last longer with less maintenance. Also take in to account that America has a large percentage of over weight people they have reduced their client base the one's that would eat the food and drinks that are expensive. You can't bring your own only sealed water bottles in a medium sized ice chest. And don't get me started on the "lazy river" 1 thing it doesn't go around the park. ECT...

I went with my daughter in late June, 2017 during two consecutive weekdays. Crowds were relatively small, lines short (compared to other water parks), the park was clean, with polite and attentive staff. The locker system was commendable, with ample facilities and special family bathrooms as well. The wave pool had around 10-12 lifeguards dedicated to it, far more than other comparable water parks, and felt safe. Also commendable, the park does not have a "pay for tube" policy like some parks do (i.e. Hurricane Harbor in CA), so the lazy river ride was used in a way that made sense and was pleasant. We liked the park so much that we cancelled our plans to try the other one across town, and did not regret our decision. On a weekday, this park seems a good Summer investment if you are in the Vegas/Henderson area with your child or teen.

I love going here to relax. Get here when the park opens so the wave pool and lazy river aren't so crowded. Around 2 it gets very crowded and the wave pool becomes unsafe (IMO) with too many inner tubes not being monitored. I saw 3 different kids/teens almost drown.
Overall, though, a great place with or without kids (I took mine as teens, they are now out of the house)

Went there last summer, experience was ok. Won't be going back though. Not unless they change owners. Current owner is a creep that tracks online reviews. If you leave a one star review, they will block your entrance at the gate and tell you "something is wrong with your card, can you come with me?". Then they will take you to a negotiation room and try to make you take down your review. That is some scary, weird, creepy stuff. Who does that kind of stuff? They wanna embarrass you in front of the whole park to get their way. Saw this story on the local news, couldn't believe it. The owner was interviewed and he said it all straight from his mouth, like this was a normal and good practice.

Never going back wow.

Edit: I just went through and read some of the reviews other people left. Every single reply from Cowabunga Bay is basically: "It's your fault, not ours". Most of them say the reply is from the owner. Yikes. This business would be falling down already if it wasn't for Vegas's ever expanding tourism and new residents that didn't know any better. When they do eventually fall, expect the owner to blame it on employees, the city, the economy etc. This dude seems unable to accept blame I'm any way shape or form. He reminds me of politicians. Horrible business man.

Here's a hint... You come off horribly in all your replies. So what good is it doing you by replying? You are just making your company's image worse by replying. Put your ego aside and either leave helpful replies, or don't leave any all. Stop being a control freak.

Definitely not fat friendly! I was only able to go on two slides and I was only 10 lbs over the limit. Which when I purchased the tickets online it didnt show the weight limits. Just that it had weight limits....wish I could get my money back. But I know this doesnt affect everyone just the overweight people. But whatever I'm posting it because noone else probably will. Also smaller park than one would assume.

Park was pretty fun, slides were fun, employees were nice. Kind of small, needs more to do. But was worth it. Boyfriend got food poisoning though and when I called to let them know, they were very rude about it. Seems a tad unorganized. Good luck

The lines were really long, the kids stood in one for over an hour. They didn't really enjoy the park because it was really crowded. We tried the food it was pretty good but that shouldn't be the best thing you experience at a waterpark.

I am an avid planner when I go on vacation. I always make sure that every part of my trip is planned down to the last minute. I had full intentions of going to cowabunga bay on 5/24/18. I made sure they were open and noted the time in my calendar. The night before I checked the website to ensure the time. I called a Lyft and got a ride from my hotel to the water park. We get there and find out it was not open. It was 12:00pm and they were not going to open until 3pm. Had to take a Lyft all the way back to the hotel. Very disappointed the website was not better updated. Found out later that we payed two times the price because we bought tickets in advance.

The season pass makes everything worth it! If you purchase the pass during Black Friday sales, it pays for itself in one and a half visits, plus you get the souvenir cup and free parking (if at least one person in your family has the plus pass).
During the crazy Coronavirus scare, this company went above and beyond to make their passholders feel loved. They had free pizza nights where we could drive through and just be given a pizza, and we were also able to pick up our season passes before opening and receive frozen yogurt. I was impressed by both of these moves, as they weren't necessary or even expected.
My only complaint about this park is the lines. When waiting for a water slide, the lines have an unbearably lengthy wait time, even if there are only a few people in front of you. I am not sure what they do to make it so long; the other local water park, Wet n' Wild, has significantly shorter wait times even when they are packed with park goers.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this water park for families who want a fun day in the sun, but if you plan on going more than once, be sure to get a season pass.

This place was AWESOME, price to get in wasn't to bad either. We got a cabana which comes with unlimited Ice Water which is perfect when spending all day @ a water park. The wave pool is awesome, my family and I definitely enjoyed it. The rides were cool, lazy river is nice to relax in. Will be coming back for sure.

sure, a few water slides but the lines are so damn long, so either plan on spending the rest of your day waiting inline or go save over $100 and take your kid to a local pool with slides coz it's pretty much the same and u won't have to deal with some rude security and supervisor that think the park's gonna lose a lot of money if u bring a small ziplock or two of your kid's snacks and they claim they sell the same inside... ya for $8 more than u wanna spend on a lil bag!!!

The lines are so long. I was their for 5 hours and only went on 2 rides. The Lazy Pool turned a little warm when I was in it. Horrible. When we ordered lunch it took forever. I suggest not going.
