Cowabunga Bay Review

I was at the park yesterday as well Sat July 7th 2018...a hr after the park opened and for my 1st time experience I had a lot of fun...after all some employees need to smile more but that didn't stop me from enjoying the splash thru out the day...made me forget the not so good things in life...so ENJOY!!! #perfect place to be with your friends and love ones... Lines move slow but rides are fun. Check Groupon for deals because I wouldn't pay full price to come

Food and drinks are expensive and no need to have town share people there

Such a fun day! We went on a weekday in the prime summer times and were able to find three chairs all together in the kids area. We were able to leave our stuff even while exploring different areas of the park and since we left nothing of value everything was safe. Make sure you bring wet shoes you want to get the most of it you don't want to worry about a flip flop breaking. You are allowed to bring water, but there are beverage/food stations.

It's pricy. I wish it would be open Monday through Sunday. They would get more money. But nevertheless it was fun. Just a suggestion

Fun fun! We gravitate toward the lazy river and the kids pool/waterslides. The food is great! I loved the chicken caesar....made fresh and huge! Buying a big pizza is a cheap way to feed the family. They are big! You can also bring tents, umbrellas and stuff for the grass to set up a home base. Your cooler does have to be under a certain size though and no outside food. Water is ok. They will fill plastic waterbottles for free. We usually bring a case in - big family and little ones. They also have tons of shaded chairs throughout to leave your stuff. We love it here!

I loved it. Wave pool, lazy river, kids wade pool, slides, floats, cabanas, so many things to do.

Super high prices$3 Waters super long lines with long Waits very little shade would not recommend unless you are used to the climate .

Cowabunga bay is really fun the fries are delicious the lazy river is so fun and it goes nice and slow but its still under construction their will be 2 more rides and the wave pool is incredible the kid place is really safe and fun. :D

worst water park I've ever been to. 2 hour long waits. if you're in Vegas I'll say go to wet and wild!! not cowabunga bay. all the slides were so slow you'd stop in the middle of the slide. if I could rate 0 stars I would.

Good place to bring the kids but could use more shade options especially right now with social distancing it's a struggle to shade the lil one's.

Very fun place, but on the very expensive side. Everything costs a lot, including the tickets.

Love spending a few hours here a few days s week during the summer. Staff is pretty friendly, sad the don't have root beer anymore.

You will have fun and escape the heat. Staff with radios know more about the park!

Rented a VIP Cabana for the whole day. It was fun and nice to have a home base to come back to in between rides.

Great kiddie area and the teens and adults had fun as well!

Had a great time. Not to crowded and very nice staff. Needs more misters and a little more on the spot maintenance

This place is a just a joke. The employees are extremely rude and don't care about the paying customers. You can't bring in any healthy snacks for your children. They pressure you to be a season pass holder, and then want you to spend more money on their processesd greasy gmo filled food. I'm not talking about bringing in whole lunches here, they made me throw away a few apples and orange slices I had for my kids. Seriously? It's 117 degrees and I don't want to give them greasy food. Maybe they should be more conserned about the near drownings in the wave pool they have had and being understaffed then harassing moms who are just trying to have a nice day with their kids and bringing along some fresh fruit. We have 4 season passes and I so regret buying them and will never recommend this place to anyone and never buy them again!! Just don't waste your time with this place. Go to wet in wild instead.

We had only a great experience here. The service, from ticket stall to guest services to the cabana to every lifeguard- was so friendly and kind. Great job. I would return.
Haley was an AMAZING server. The cabana was worth it because of her attentiveness. I only wish the website added that if you brought allergen-friendly food (which website states is OKAY and i have celiac disease), you'd have to eat in in guest relations. So, i ended up not eating what I brought because that would have been a hassle.

So much fun for the kids!! Very easy to navigate inside and a reasonable amount of attractions for different age kids.

They kicked me and my freinds out becasue of lightning which was to keep us safe but it was a huge bummer but we only missed an hour and a half which didnt make us feel as bad.

Great place and food and they let you walk around with alcoholic beverages

We rented a cabana for the family. The service was horrible. For the price they charge you would expect to get drinks faster than 40 minutes, the food finally came after we went to get it 1 hour after we ordered. Not to mention the cabana boy told us it would be faster if we got the food ourself. After we pushed the call button it would be fifteen to twenty minutes before he would stroll on over. Not to mention the music was so loud we could barely hear each other.
The rides were fun. The only bad part of it was that there were not enough tubes or lifeguards to accommodate the amount of people at the park. The lines were extremely slow moving after 12:30.

This place rocks, great fun for the kids and adults too, and everyone is friendly.

You will spend a day Very fun with the family, you have to try it for you to see for yourself.

Always a good time. Ticket price is a little high but Costco offers 4 tickets for $75. Food is fair priced.

The best water park in Las Vegas. Wet and Wild has nothing on Cowabunga Bay.

Fun place to take the kid's if you go after 4pm during certain day's of the week cost $19.99 to get in plus $7 for parking.

This place is horrible. The workers are horrible. The prices for the food are horrible the lines are horrible . You have to pay for WATER!! I mean its Vegas. It's over 108 almost everyday. Water should be FREE!! I wouldn't recommend anyone to this place . Worse waterpark I ever been to . bring back the old wet n wild .

It was great! Was unsure after reading other reviews. Food prices were what you would expect for a theme park, not blazing expensive but it was a pretty penny.
We brought food in and they allowed some of it but made us keep some of it with them in the security room up front, we were allowed to go back for it later.

Great Place! They have Amazing slides with a great wave pool We didnt want to leave! Love this place!

Went here for my boyfriends birthday! It was super awesome. The only thing is the bathrooms are kinda subpar and the food/drinks are so expensive and you can't bring in your own

Employees did a great job following social distancing guidelines. Reminding visitors to wear masks in food/drink lines and stay 6 feet apart. Only downside was that the lines to go on the water slides were extremely long. I went on a Tuesday which could explain long lines since all day passes are only $22.22.

1. I have a ticket in my hand and no it does not on any part of this ticket state its for the 2015 season 2. Obviously i cant scan the ticket for it to tell me that smh 3. I shouldnt have to go on facebook to have someone tell me that come on now was that a joke it should be printed on the ticket like any other free admission ticket would have or any other ticket or coupon on the planet would have

Huge, wave pool, zero entry pool. My kids loved the slides.

Buy the season pass it's worth it if you like going alot. Free parking if you get the good one and you can bring a friend once a month.

It was my first time going to Cowabunga Bay and I really enjoyed it place was not too busy and the fines for the rides were not crazy long either. The food was a little on the pricey side but was better tasting than I expected coming from a water park. You didn't have to wear masks in the water or in the lines the only place that required you to wear a mask was in the concession area or gift shop or front desk area. Was my first time going there and I definitely will be returning

It's not a big park so it's perfect for my 5 & 9 year old granddaughters. Has a couple of bigger slides that my son liked. Good snack bar, changing rooms, lockers, family bathrooms, cabanas, and plenty of seating for people not going on the slides.

It's a fabulous water park! We love the huge wave pool and super fun lazy river. They have a smaller water playground for the littles to play safely, with slides and activities, plus huge slides for the adults and big kids. We spend the whole day here when we go. To help with the cost, get a pack of tickets at Costco, or sign up for their email list to get 3 for $33, 4 for $44, or 5 for $55. We pack a lunch and go out to the car to eat, because the food there is pretty expensive. But it's a fun day beating the Vegas heat!

Awesome experience with the family. Our VIP cabana host Savannah was especially helpful and kind.

The rides are one of the great things about cowabunga bay. The wavepool especially is one of my favorite ones. The food there is also great especially the boneless wings.

It was great for the most part. I had so much fun on the one slide I did get on. But I spent most of my trip in the lazy river.. can't wait til locals night that way it'll be more floaties. My only issue was the water was very very salty.

We really liked it here. It's pricey for full price for a family but we went after 4pm on a weekend and that was a good deal. It closed at 10pm and they had some pretty awesome fireworks.

OMG!! THIS PLACE IS SOO MUCH FUN FOR EVERY1!! KIDS OF ALL AGES EILL ENJOY!!!! VIP CABANAS R THE BEST!!

So much fun! Everyone is very friendly and nice. All staff memebrs are on point and always watching to insure we are safe. Lines are a little long but worth the wait.

Super fun. Pricey if your on a budget. Go PREPARED....Take water, sunscreen, plastic phone protectors, flip flops or water shoes, hat, sun glasses etc. Also, The firework show is spectacular. I would recommend.

This place is fun. If you go when it is not busy it is a blast. The rides are cooler than wet n wilds and more fun. Everything is easy to get to also.

Kids loved it. Food is way over priced but the wave pool was great and the kiddo area my daughter loved.

This is our second year as season pass holders. Our family enjoys the park however, I have been so disappointed that the Blue Slide has been down during each visit this season. At our last visit the super fast tube ride was down too. Also, I'm not sure what is going on with parking this year. The attendant that took my parking money didn't give me a receipt. I thought that was a little strange because I always used the receipt for reentry later in the day. Hope that was not a theft issue. It would be nice if bottle water was not so expensive over $3 is a killer. It is darn hot in Vegas. If your family can use it a season pass is the best way to go but right now I am feeling short changed with several rides not in service.

We went on a Saturday it stayed open till 10 and had a firework show which was very awesome totally worth coming back again and getting a season pass next year

Im here with my kids for the first time this summer and as we go to head up to the 4 color slides there are a infestation of live fire ants just falling in clumps all over riders waiting to go on rides when we tell the life gards they dont even bother to stop the rides long enough to fix the problem fire ants are a danger in big amounts so this trip my kids cant go on 4 of the rides for safty so not happy with this trip and the safty shown for us .
