Covered Bridge Vineyard Review

Very pleasant staff. Sampled a few of the wines. Bought a bottle of favorite and had a small snack bowl mix and enjoyed at one of there tables in very nice area. It is as nice. Scenary outside windows very appealing!!! I would recommend a visit here.

Very good wine; In the summer would be better if their patio was covered as it was very hot!

Great place with great wine. I have been here multiple times and liked it each time. The servers are super nice and knowledgeable. The land is nice and the inside of the winery is beautiful with lots of cool paintings.

My one recommendation for the servers/owners is to set a limit for the number of samples; I would suggest between 4-6. It is awkward as a patron not knowing what the "acceptable" amount to sample is unless told or posted.

This is a good winery. A good selection. A beautiful tasting room. I wish they would have told me about the chocolate pairing before I was checking out. I would have liked to try it. The gal giving the tastings was nice but definitely flustered from a few people doing tastings. I would recommend a visit to this place. It was quite nice.

We enjoyed our visit. Wine tasting was not free, but not expensive and we thought it was worth the price.The winery manager was very friendly and shared a lot of information about the winery and the Winterset area. Very scenic site. Everyone has different tastes, but my wife and I enjoyed and purchased several wines. It is worth stopping for a visit.

Love the wine, setting, and people. Marquette is a favorite.

Not impressed. I have travelled to illinois. Minnesota, missouri. Iowa, and even my homestate and have never been treated the way my husband and I were treated here. Not only were we ignored by employees but a normal tasting is approximately an ounce or each wine. Due to the treatment in this winery I will not be.returning
Also you need to be upfront on cost of tastings if you do not purchase and not wait until after the tastings to charge the five dollar fee. Will skip your winery and advise our friends to miss you too obviously you dont want new business

Thus winery is the best!! A new bldg with big windows to enjoy the beautiful scenery of rural Winterset. There is a stately fireplace to enjoy in cool weather. Rose and Kevin are so kind, friendly and professional. They want to ensure your visit is special. Luv the place and the owners!!

The ladies who were working there were fantastic! Knowledgeable, kind, fun. Prices were very good. We bought 4 bottles and a slushie mix. Well worth the stop.

I just opened a bottle of Rattlesnake red, very nice.

I love the view down the valley and all of the beautiful HUGE Windows they have so you can always see it, indoors or out.
They're wine tastings are so fun (and delicious) and even though I live in Des Moines, this is always my favorite winery to come to.

Great music with The Sons of Gladys Kravitz. Good friends, food and drink.

Great winery! host offered many other locations to visit in the area for wine and cider. If you are into local dry red wine, highly recommend the Rattlesnake Red!

Besides having awesome wines, terrific ambience. The owners, Kevin and Rose could not be more accommodating, knowledgeable and truly personable people. If you were a wine lover, This is an absolute must stop.

Great wine and a great experience! I stopped by while traveling on I-35 and I'm so glad I did. Crystal was so kind and conversational. And they gave me a bag full of wine corks for free. Stop by, you won't regret it!!
