Great food and customer service! However, the resort needs major updating. Everything should be updated!

I love that no kids are allowed. There is a pool open 24/7. There are deer that will eat out of your hands. The sports offered are fun, but they close at 6pm.

The indoor tennis courts are very hot. The ice skating rink has really bad synthetic ice. The air conditioner was on high and was not able to get the room as cold as I like it. The pool in my room was more of a hot tub and the room it was in was unbearably hot. The bed was terrible. It was sunk in in the middle, which gave me a very sore back. You can hear the people on both sides of the room. Everything smells like smoke and you can't get the smell out of the room. It's also very dark and really needs more lighting. They have a fridge but no microwave.

I have been to both Cove Haven and Pocono Palace. I much prefer Pocono Palace.

This was our first time staying at the resort. This was a surprise for my wife. She was so happy and enjoyed every minute.

Nice Clean Rooms, A Love Machine That Takes You Everywhere, Good Unlimited Food (Especially Dinner). So Many Activities, We Couldn t Do Them All. I Definitely Recommend Cove Haven For Couples, We Truly Enjoyed Ourselves.

The concept of Cove Haven and Champaign tower is great. My husband and I were very excited opening the door to our suite. The Activities on the premises were very enjoyable. The activities allow you to reconnect or connect with your partner. However the cleanliness of our room was an issue. My husband and I got a rashes all over our bodies after the Champaign tower Jacuzzi. The Champaign tower itself didn't look clean. I understand the location is in a woodsy area but we found several insects in our room. A centipedes hiding in a towel in the bathroom a bug under our sheets in the bed and another in the bathroom on the toilet. The construction was a little cumbersome because we had to use alternate routes to get to certain locations. My partner and I were afraid to swim in the pool in the room due to cleanliness issues. I'm giving 3 stars because I see potential and my husband and I really enjoyed the outdoor activities and staff.

Hot tub would not fill ,the pool was low on water and didn't filter right , took three hours to check in.

Great time spent here with my significant other! Not far away for us, considering we're from New York, at tops- this was a two and a half hour drive. Once there you feel rested and well taken care off, our suite was clean, warm and very welcoming. Animals such as deers roamed about, creating just the secluded feeling we were looking for.

We never got bored unless that was a pleasure we wanted to explore, as the grounds boasted many activities to partake in. We enjoyed racquetball, archery, table hockey, our inquire pool and suana! A few of the items we tried, though the resort list goes on and on, from winter activities to summer activities! Our package included breakfast and dinner and neither was disappointing. Overall our trip was a success and very much so holds its claim to being the land of love!

Very romantic resort that feels like a different world when you drive onto the property. Good variety of activities and even better food.

Decor needs some serious updating. It was carpet/mirror overload and the TVs (in the rooms) were very low quality. This place would be fantastic if the owners put some money into modernizing things.

The housekeeping staff also didn't do a very good job. When we first entered the room, there were pistachio shells on the floor next to the bed, the tub was dirty and everything was pretty dusty. Even when we requested they clean the room, they only left new towels and made the bed up. We had to specifically ask them to clean the sink and tub.

Overall and excellent trip rooms can use some renovations but as far as service, every one was very pleasnt from start to finish and there are countless activities to do so you won't be bored and food was excellent especially the breakfast will defiantly return to cove have had an amazing time with my beautiful wife....

The staff was good and the room was ok. A little out dated but your only there to sleep. What I was disappointed with was alot of there amenities we're not available. And they didn't give me any money back or comp me anything.

My stay was excellent because my husband made sure I was happy and I felt like a queen. The room was not clean did not meet expectations and ants by the pool. But overall staff was super nice and so was breakfast with Margaret and Dennis they made my day.

My wife and I were at Cove Haven this last weekend and couldn t have had a better time. It was like a second honeymoon for us. Kyle and the staff there did an amazing job. We felt so welcome and enjoyed not only the room but all kinds of activities excluding a great tree lighting ceremony. Keep up the good work we hope to visit again soon.

Very friendly staff , great outdoor actvities as well as indoor entertainmemt. Large assortment of various foods for breakfast and dinner. Rooms are clean and spacious.

for an all inclusive resort, nice. Pro, food is good and there are lots of activities should you want to do things. Negative is the noise from adjoining rooms carries through walls. You have to ask for more than 1 set of towels and they do not refurbish coffee cup or cups in bathroom unless you ask. House service did not empty trash in when they tidy up room

Room a mess rugs ripped and dirty. Walls cracked and dirty. Stayed in the The Cove fantasy room asked for upgrade the day before but was denied at check in. Lady at check in was rude and offered no other option for a upgrade. Dinner my wife s food came out cold and over done. Very expansive for the quality of the room and service.

My wife and I had a great time. Shawn Cornelius was so funny! The food and staff were excellent. I hope that one day Cove Haven can do some updates to the rooms and other areas but I really enjoyed my stay. Only downside - no snowmobiles or snow tubes but I understand that we had a warm winter.

Cove Haven is amazing, a little bit of blast to the past but very cool if you like that kind of stuff. The staff is super nice and the food is good also. Not much around the area but very nice drives great reset by getting out of the city I recommend it!

As of Sept. 2017-the new management has not done a good job, but we are hoping they will. We are long time 4ever Lovers-and love this place. However, there are somethings that need to be addressed. But before going there-let me tell you the staff there are great. Couples Only Truly the Land of Love! That being said, this is for the management: it really needs some TLC! I know there are major repairs to be made and that will take time (and money). However, it's the small things that matter too. Like cosmetics: paint, minor repairs, people do look and notice and it is a "put off". Having better lighting in the bathroom (for the ladies) and better bathroom fixtures (like showerheads) make a big impression. I know it is a Big expense - but you really need to re-upholster the rooms(or at least a Really Good Steam Cleaning! Definitely should replace the rugs that have burn holes in them. Some say the look is "dated" - but I think it is "dated" to an ear of when Romance was alive! Along with 1st impressions is the dishes you are going to put your food on. When you mostly do buffet - it is noticeable to the guest when they pick up a dirty plate - or when there are no plates to pick up. While I always see the dining staff doing something, that tells me that maybe you don't have enough people. Especially for when you have more guests at times. If you are going to advertise - and charge for - a heated indoor pool and hot tubs, then you should provide such. If not that is false advertising, which is illegal - as it should be. When you say you have hot tubs and yours (one of which was closed) are not even Warm - would make me (as well as others) Very Unhappy and asking for compensation!! And if you are going to have the option to "make reservations for dinner" - then we shouldn't have to wait in line, just like if we didn't. If you didn't have your "host" doing the checking in/seating/cleaning tables/answering phones/whatever else, then there wouldn't be a line!!! You should also have a better balance of tables - singles and "friendly". Those of us that like to socialize as couples shouldn't be penalized. Love should never die-hope the new management can join us in this.

Nice place to visit, relax, play, entertained at night club etc. Room design and ambience is pretty good. Some of the common areas are bit stinking and not clean (dust piled up, spider web etc.). Limited choices of food for vegans.

Awesome place. Room was awesome, customer service was awesome, lots of activities to do at the resort. I like that you can go to their other resorts and utilize their services as well.

DO NOT DO IT!!!!!!!! For the price you pay its not worth the stay. I was literally scared to sleep in the bed or sit on the furniture. I checked in at 1:15 and checked out at 1:25 same day. The pictures on the website are ALL lies. They take pictures at certain angles to make it look like things are bigger and more elegant, but this hotel is out dated, rusty, and looks like a retirement home. If you have allergies , I promise you will need a kit, epi pen or a doctor on site to give you meds all day or to bring you back to life. Make sure you have transportation because they don't have options for a taxi if you decide u dont want to stay there, need to go to the airport or just go somewhere and its in the middle of no where. It was like a scene in a movie called (Wrong Turn). The rooms smell like mildew, the TV was a 1994 box TV with the Vcr attached. The shuttle van was called the love machine. It had holes in the seats and spelled like mildew, cigarettes and it look like the van used in Scooby-Doo. The staff was nice, but they were all dressed unprofessional. Had no problems getting my money back, it was shocking that the staff didn't ask me why I wanted my money back or ask if there was anything they could do to help or change my mind. They just willingly refunded me my money. So I came to the conclusion that this must happen alot. Please take my advice seriously. I've never written a review about anything and for me to take the time and write this long review means I dont want you to waste your time or money with your love one.

It was like i was stuck i. The 80's but in a good way, it was very relaxing, the stuff was amazing! I love cove haven can wait to go back

3 stars only because my wife and I made the most of it and our wedding there wasn't so bad. A lot of the pictures make this place look way better than it is. Our door was rusty and they key cards only work when they wanted to. Lots of repairs and updates need to be made. The food is comparable to cafeteria food and it's supposed to be romantic but they seat you so close to other couples that you can grab what they are eating. Almost ALL of the staff is miserable. The rooms don't have anyway to heat left overs so instead of throwing food away I had to use the sauna to heat our food. The cleaning people drive like ass holes even though most of the people staying there walk everywhere. Our sinks wouldn't drain and actually backed up a few times. Trash bags are left outside the rooms for days at a time and absolutely everything there is ridiculously overpriced. We were there 5 days and saw maybe 4 happy couples. Everyone seemed to have the same realization of what they had just gotten themselves into. It's very obvious whoever owns these resorts has no care about the condition they are in. It's a shame. The potential is near endless for this spot.

Love the food and the room. The entertainment is unmatched.

We enjoyed our stay. I hope that we are able to return someday. Also would like to go in the night club if it is open.

All the amenities in the resort itself were amazing. We played all the games, sports, ate the food, went to the events (bingo, comedy, deer feeding). The bingo host was HILARIOUS. I liked him a bunch. I was a little bummed that the couples painting was cancelled, but that was understandable since there were so few people at the resort.

I miiiiight come back in a warmer month to check out the outdoor activities if I purchase the cheapest room on the lot (because the Champagne Room wasn't worth the price). But I'm more likely to just go to another hotel or go camping.

As soon as we walked in to our room we saw a white stain on the ripped couch. We all know what that stain PROBABLY was...we all know what goes on in those rooms. And since we all know what goes on, I would expect the cleaning to be SO much more thorough. I called the front desk they were very friendly and sent someone right up to clean it. However, the cleaning staff just flipped over the cushion which had another very similar (bigger) white stain.

Most of the perks of the room (the reason I spent so much money) didn't work:
The in-room sauna was lukewarm. I turned it on at full temperature for 30 minutes and it was tepid at best.
The "steam shower" feature was broken.
The shower itself looked grungy (bring shower shoes).
Half of the "star lights" above the bed were burnt out.
The champagne glass tub floor looked moldy/mildewy. The mold was UNDER the tub not on the floor of the tub. But even though the mildew wouldn't actually be touching me...it still wasn't appealing.
DON'T purchase the log for the fireplace. The ventilation was so bad that the entire room was smoked out in 10 minutes. The fireplace vent was open but the windows don't open, and the baby fan was irrelevant. I tried fanning the front door open and closed for a while but that wasn't how I wanted to spend my night. Our eyes burned for at least 3 hours from the smoke.
We didn't go into the in-room pool. By that point everything else was such a let down we gave up and went to sleep.
The bed was comfy. So, at least there was that.

My favorite part of this trip was that there were so few people that it felt like we had the entire resort to ourselves. So we had a great time in that regard. But if it were filled with people I'm not so sure I would have had as great a time.

It was a fun weekend. We made the most of it. But I'd recommend just renting the cheapest room.

This place is getting old ,looks like they try to keep it in shape but you can tell has not been upgraded for years ,all inclusive food is medicore - it's a buffet ,not restaurant ,chicken was dry-er then ever also all inclusive means no alcoholic drinks are included ?? Last time I checked all inclusive meant something else ,also they have 2 AC units in the room - 1 downstairs which is ok but another upstairs is making crazy noise ,won't let you sleep and is not making room cool at all ,already having headache ,they supposed to replace them with split units which are quiet and more efficient ,well i did check it out but not be coming back , especially for money you have to spend ,what I paid it's solid 5 star real all inclusive 5 day trip to Dominican Republic for 1

Better to come in groups. I loved the room I stayed (Champagne Tower). However, only indoor activities were available on my visit and we were not told that while making the reservation. Food is not so great. The place has to be updated.

I has a nice relaxing time with my husband . The food waa grear except the dinner. The 2ND day was better. The only thing i am complaining is the showers need mats inside to prevent slipping and falling. The rooms need to upgrade desperately.

My Husband and I had an amazing time everything was perfect... I would say they should update the interior of the hotel to a modern look and feel it was a little dated.

I felt that the cleanliness can be improved, the room was very dirty, the sink was clogged, the carpet were dirty, the room smell bad. the restaurants tables were dirty and the floors were dirty

I actually stayed at Paradise Stream and drove down to Cove Haven because you can drive to all three resorts. My room was beautiful I was in awe. Indoor pool, heart shaped tub, sauna, etc. All inclusive included breakfast and dinner and desert, one night it was a GIANT desert table full of chocolate. Tons of bars. They have a community pool area with hot tubs and jets and my boyfriend and I had the place to ourselves. It was weird we went for valentine s day and barely any workers or people were in sight but we loved the privacy. Only complaints are the indoor ice skating rink was kinda impossible to skate on which I was really excited for, tanning beds didn t work, wish more food was included because we d get hungry throughout the day. Also just wish the place was a bit cheaper, the price per night kills me lol. I wanna come back so bad.

Beautiful grounds rooms need updating the lake us beautiful not really worth the money. Food is subpar went one night and got gas station hot dogs just go and get drunk and have sexy time with your significant other. Dont spend to much on the expensive room not worth it

Not only is the place dated but the place was very dirty inside and out. The toilet had not been cleaned since the last guest checked out. There was feces on the rim of the toilet once you lifted up the seat. The bed sheets were not changed wither becasue there was dirt stain on the piloow case. The staff service was not so great. Not very cordial when talking to you. They do not supply ice buckets in the room, I had to make four phone calls to get someone to bring Ice bags to the ice machine which was in another building. . Never brought the ice bags and I went back to my room I was told the restaurant could bring ice to my room (should have been told this the first time) Staff to guest ration is very low.
Only the restaurant seemed nice and slightly updated.

The room was fine pool had wax and hair from previous guest,and pump was not circulating called maintenance and they fixed it quickly.only down side was ice skating was broken and heated indoor public pool was not heated.other then that it was a decent first time.If they would lower their prices at spooners and spa as well as room rates they would make better income and attract more couples.

The workers were very nice and knowledgeable. There was a lot to do. I didn't care for the buffet. My husband actually got sick and threw up while we were still in the dining room. The room was nice but dark. We were on the bottom floor. And it just felt dingy. We also didn't get much sleep cause the person that was above us made so much noice on the floor it sounded like a herd of horses. For what we paid I don't think we would go back again.

Trying to resolve an issue from 2015. Room was dirty pool was cold Entertainment was not what was advertised! Was very disappointed with the venue. Bathroom was dirty, and gnats were in the sink Etc. Was told I would have a two-night stay complimentary from the resort... Of course they have no record of it. Just very disappointed with the resort itself and its customer service. Have been coming here for quite some time but will not be returning.

I'm a little surprised that Cove Haven resorts is not updated. I probably will not be attending this Resort again.

The sofa was full of stains

The bathroom underneath the toilet was dirty

The shower had no shower head

The room was filled with smoke whether through smoking or the fire place, I called the front desk about these issues, a young man came with a green liquid bottle, sprayed 3x and left.

The room has not been updated since the 90;s. I will not be returning to Cove Haven in the near future, even after my phone calls, I was not accommodated. It was my anniversary, the only thing great about the trip was the company

My husband took me on a mini honeymoon for our 1st anniversary. He booked the champagne suites which we loved the pool and the Whirlpool champagne tub and fireplace was a nice touch Other than that the place was completely outdated. I dont feel they have updated or even painted or replaced anything since the place opened in the 80s. The food was subpar. They had a buffet which I would prefer Ponderosa. Steak and lobster were both overcooked and service was poor. Some of the lights in the room didnt work and we had to call someone to service the TV since we couldn't get either of them to do anything. Our room had ants the second day and we had to buy a blanket to lay on the floor since I did not want to sit on the floor or couch. Both seemed dirty. The bed was terrible it almost folded us in half it was so old and the middle was completely beat in. There was a pool, sauna, shower and whirlpool and we were given 2 tiny pool towels and 2 towels with washcloths (we used those in an hour) Even when I asked for "extra" we got the same. My husband spend an incredible amount of money to have rose petals spread throughout the room for our arrival. There were rose petals on the floor and the bed but also a ton of black debris all over the bed that was not rose petals. The arcade had about 10 games and about 5 worked. The prizes included a yellowed Ziggy figure if anyone even remembers Ziggy amongst other junk. The mini golf was that made for 5 year olds and the clubs kept sliding out of their handle. I imagine back in the day this was a great place to go but now.....not worth a fraction of the price they charge for any of it. Very disappointed with the stay. Still madly in love with my husband, we made the best of it.

First time overall we loved the place, will probably try different room of one of your other resort.

My husband and I have been coming to Cove Haven for 10 years, sometimes twice a year. We have seen many changes, some good, some not so good. We always enjoy ourselves when we go, but hen again it's what you make it. We enjoyed the cocktail hour for the gold and silver forever lovers. We stayed in the champagne towers. In the pool room, the dust on the floor was so thick you could write your name in it. Also, was there a limit placed on the amount of towels provided to each room? Another thing we both thought was "tacky" and we also thought so during our last stay, was having to pay extra for selected menu items. I understand the cost of seafood has increased, however, I feel as though the amount of monies paid to stay at Cove Haven should cover that. The heart shaped pool outside was filthy. The staff are pleasant and courteous, as always and will go out of their way to provide assistance.

This place omg was overwhelmingly beautiful. Even though it s out dated I was still in love with my room. I would definitely come again. I can t wait to come back. Definitely worth the 3 hour drive.

First time here and we a great time. People were friendly and we met many people. Thought room was outdated but otherwise had a great time. Made a new beginning for us.

Everything was fantastic my husband and I were here for our honeymoon. The rooms I think need a little updating but be sides that the room was great the staff was great and the atmosphere overall was great! I really liked the women bartender a little older with blonde hair that worked on Monday night I never drank before and I'm 22 and she was just fantastic and really nice and made me feel totally comfortable. Dennis the waiter that works breakfast and dinner was so funny and made breakfast and dinner an enjoyable time!

I had a wonderful time with my wife. We went to celebrate her 30th Birthday. The resort is beautiful. They have several couples activities on site. The staff is so helpful and pleasant. We went to Cove Haven for 3 days and wanted to stay longer. The all inclusive is recommended it comes with breakfast and dinner and it s worth it. Photographer will go to your room and then you can purchase the photos that you like. Overall it was relaxing and peaceful. We will definitely go back.

My husband and I had a great time but feel it should have been more to do. For example the we wanted to do the paddle boats but were told the water rides were shut down. The horse and carriage ride was a joke, and could have been more entertainment. Our first room smelled badly of fire damage and we were given a spray bottle of air freshener but the next morning when I went to front desk and complained they did upgrade and switch our room without hesitation. Overall though the resort was nice and staff especially Dennis were wonderful.

Clean suite, good food, and friendly staff. Always enjoy the peaceful and relaxing environment.

New Years Eve dinner was the biggest waste of money! Lobster was cold mush, sent lobster back 3 times, and terrible service. My wife and I had lots of gas & needed the restroom within 1 hour. Not good!!! Very disappointed!!! Rating one star because photographer took good picture.

The location/service/food are fine, a big thank you to Dennis our server at the Coliseum Dining Room, but the place needs an update, the toilet was disgusting, the heat nasty, the bed sheets dirty and very old

It's the place to be for lovers, honeymoon or birthday's special place for people to get together

The rooms are nice but the outdoor experience is amazing .if you appreciate nature book a weekend with your better half

the in-room heated pool is awesome to have. we didn't use the sauna but that is a cool feature. the in-room heart shaped hot tub is adorable. we had the Eden Apple suite and it was very spacious. the shower stall is very small amistad like in a cruise ship. for reference I'm about 5'8 at 220lbs (approx. size 16. women's). bring slippers! the carpeted areas have seen better days but it's not totally off-putting. but the tired areas, like around the hot tub or in the toilet room, are cold so save your feet. don't forget to bring your own bubble bath if you can to save a few bucks. the arcade games are additional costs so bring cash to exchange for tokens if you might want to play. the food is good enough, I was able to avoid cheese/dairy pretty easily and I was full enough off of dinner while avoiding pasta/breads.

For the amount of money I paid for this, I felt as though I got ripped off. The quality of this resort doesn't match the price I paid to be here. I wouldn't recommend other people to come here and would actually tell them that they should More

There resort was closed when we got the after driving 6 hours. The told us sorry and that's it like no disscount on a future stay no real refund just oh yeah you can't stay here after months of looking forward to it a 6 hour drive there thanks alot cove Haven.

Although a beautiful location, the property needs a lot of love. The heart shaped Jacuzzi in our room looked so nasty we didn't want to use it. The food was truly disappointing, I wouldn't recommend it at all.

This was the first time my boyfriend and I booked a room with Cove Haven and overall we enjoyed ourselves. We had a pretty spacious room, large restroom with a heart shaped tub, fire place (must buy your own wood), living room, mini fridge and the most comfortable king size bed you'll ever sleep in. We just had a few issues with the resort. When we checked out the spa, they had two jecuzzis and two saunas, which we both enjoyed but each had one that was out of order. The jecuzzi was also very dirty, the bubbles were brown and when we ask an associate if she was able to give it a quick cleaning, she just told us it wasn't part of her department. Also, they had soft tile ceilings and a couple of them had black mold, which made us feel uncomfortable. We also had a couple of incidents were we almost had bad falls because of how icy the floors and steps were outside. If I ever visit here again, it'll be during the summer, I spent $380 for 1 night and felt like there were not much to do since all the outdoor activities were closed out. Food was pretty good btw, they should just add a lunch menu. Breakfast ended at 10:30a and dinner started 5:30p

This was our 2nd new years here. the first was so so. Came again and the band was better but the dining was like they never served that many people before. First time making reservations for dinner.Not a good plan. I love the resort.Nice getaway to reconnect

Been a guest for many years at the Pocono Resorts, dating back to when Brookdale on the Lake was still open. Cove Haven Resort is the same as it was then. Everything needs updating and modernizing to this century and it could be what it used to be.

My stay was okay and could have been a lot better. The room was excellent and ready for me before check in. I wish there were more activities to part take in. Had to play the room all weekend due to limited activities. Service staff was excellent accept on my last day were I waited 30 minutes for coffee and other breakfast items. The champagne whirlpool could have been a whole lot cleaner the pool water could have been warmer and there should be an option for smokers to pay more to smoke in there suites, this is an adults only resort and the price could be a little lower due to limited activities. But overall would come back a second time.

I enjoyed must of my stay ... my room was great until we discovered mole in the pool area on the wall (3rd day) so that kinda of put a damper on that part ... and the one night we went to happy hour in the colosseum the waitress/bartender had a color issue (racism) in her she overlook us and served about five couples before use which came in minutes after us ... I mention it and her response was she was serving in order???? WHAT ORDER ... far as food breakfast the hot table needs to be keep up with food every morning you had to wait for several trays to be refill and you have your guest standing around the hot table waiting for eggs, bacon ..etc.....
Over all I enjoyed my stay and would probably ome back in the summer

Guest service is very rude and unfriendly, didnt explain everything in the property and services. property and location is good.

My wife and I is silver forever lovers. We were excited to return to cove haven. We booked the champagne towers for 3 days 2 nights. When we enter room 704 my wife notice the outside of champagne jacuzzi was filthy. Next she went to shower off from our 4 hour drive when she noticed the pipes and noobs was coming out the shower wall. She then tried the double sinks and to our surprise they were back up. It took at least 15 mins to drain. Now these few defects lead to my wife doing a full out inspection of the room. Where she pointed out the ceiling fan above the steps had black dust and cobwebs all over it. The heart shape pool had so many cracks on the pool floor along with chipped paint on the pool walls. There's a lot more to added to these review but overall these room is fallen apart. The most important issue I want viewers and management to get out of this review is these rooms are $500 dollars a night!! Cove haven most expensive rooms are being neglected in this way is unbelievable but more so how cove haven does even care about the paying customers that they would put out a product like this for $500 a night! As a director of operations at a respectable plant I will tell you this falls directly on management because either they don't know what kind of rooms that being presented to the paying customers which shows that they neglecting to their jobs or they know how these rooms are being maintained and just don't care about the customer at all. Either way this is unacceptable.

This is not a one building hotel. It's almost a village type of deal. The buildings seem kinda outdated, almost in a charming way. The shuttle at the resort was very prompt. Dinner was great, lots of choice at Sunday buffet. Monday breakfast, not so great.

Came for a fun night to let loose after what has been a really difficult year (especially last month) for us. Ended up leaving the same night with an asthma attack that is still going on two days later. Rooms were disgustingly dirty, found mold in quite a few places, and a A LOT of it in each clump (have plenty of pictures if needed). Jacuzzi was not clean, rips holes and stains in the carpet, stains on the bed, musty smell in the room. I ve never been so disappointed. My asthma was bothering me from the first few minutes i walked in. Now it is two days later, I m starting what seems to be a sinus infection and I m still having trouble breathing. I m severely allergic to mold. Disgusted and amazed that they even allow people to stay in these rooms. They should be ashamed. Making people sick and for someone like me, with a severe allergy, if i stayed more than a few hours it could ve killed me. When my boyfriend and I went to the front desk to ask for our money back we were greeted by a very unfriendly woman who had an attitude with us from the start. She was the late night auditor (only one there) and you could tell she wasn t used to actually having to work and deal with people, because she acted like she couldn t be bothered and didn t want to help. I was clearly struggling with my breath while at the front desk, and even took my inhaler at one point, and this woman had us waiting for over an hour going back and forth with her. We paid cash, and she only had a $200 bank. She gave some of our refund in cash and we are still waiting on the rest to come in a check in the mail. Between the cleanliness and state of the room, and how poor the customer service is, i can absolutely say this is the worst experience I ve ever had in any hotel, restaurant, etc in the hospitality industry in my life. So very disappointed and sick. Called both managers whose cards i received and still haven t gotten a call back or an email about my refund. Very sad.

Had a great time...but.....was disappointed with how dated the property was and the room was in rough shape...Spending near 1000 dollars for two nights I was expecting the (wow) factor!...didnt achieve that..
Does not look like the pictures online...(kinda like an internet date)....
Entertainment was just ok ..but no place to really go dancing..they need to move their dance floor somewhere a little more private.Having open windows along the main st. and next to pool tables just doesnt work(thats why no-one was dancing).
Just some tlc,money invested and thought, this place could be in its glory once again! Would love to see it if they ever do and hope it doesnt become another abandoned resort in the poconos.
In fact.... to some it up.....I ALWAYS take tons of pictures but I would be to embarrassed to shown my friends and family where I was and how much money I spent.
