Courtyard by Marriott, Sandy, UT Review

Very nice and clean hotel. Nice amenities and great views of the mountains , nice Courtyard with firepit pit and seating, and also includes a indoor pool. The rooms are generous in space however I felt the bedding wasn't the best I've slept on and little on the firmer side I ended up tossing and turning, the same goes with my colleague who slept in another room on a different floor, he had 2 queens, I had a King so bedding seems consistent. Also they tend to run a little on the warmer side but AC works fine and I had a balcony with sliding glass door to let the cooler air in which was a nice feature.

I so needed these guys to answer the phone. It was important. I ended up loosing money. I travel to Cedar City about 10 times a year and I wanted this to work out, BUT THEY WOULDN T ANSWER THE PHONE!!! My trip was destroyed because they refused to even try. So disappointed

I never stayed here because the concierge at the front desk was extremely rude. She argued with my father on the phone getting extremely loud and shouting into my cell phone before cutting my father off and slamming down my phone to storm into the back. I don t have a credit card so my father was helping me to get a room for the night, she was saying that there is no way I can be let in the room without my fathers credit card, id and him present. She later said if there had been a note on the reservation things would be different, but was confused since he was on the phone with her trying to tell her that it was for me. I didn t want to give 1 star because I m sure the hotel is fine beyond the less than pleasant concierge.

Hotel staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable However, the people on the third floor were very loud running around Jumping off the bed, bouncing a ball, this went on till midnight. I called and let the desk clerk know but it continued for another 45 minutes before it stopped needless to say I didn t get much sleep.

The Courtyard is a great place to stay. Our room was up to date and mostly clean (there were crumbs and coins on the carpet) but the best part of this hotel was Hope, the front desk staff. Hope was...BRIGHT, she was pleasant upon every greeting and made sure our needs were met. I was traveling with two toddlers which can be challenging which Hope seemed to understand. An example of Hope s helpfulness- the take out I ordered forgot utensils. So with two hangry kids screaming in the background, I called Hope and she ran some up right away.
The pool area was CLEAN and had an inviting atmosphere. The courtyard was also very comfortable with seating areas, mood lighting, and outdoor fire features. It s also enclosed so my children were able to run around without me having to worry about an escape.

Our stay was amazing! From the 24 hour pool for the kids to the bistro bar for mommy and daddy haha! The only thing we were missing was a microwave in the room but there's one by the front desk which was okay because little miss Hope working the desk is an absolute sweetheart!!! We loved how helpful and kind she was. We look forward to staying here again soon!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. After a long 11 hour drive we were greeted by Hope, who was an absolute joy. She was cheerful and so helpful. A definite bright spot at the end of a long day.
The hotel was very clean and very well appointed. The next morning we popped down to the bistro for coffee and breakfast. Again we were greeted by a young woman(I'm sorry we didn't get her name) and again she was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great stay.

Not a great experience at this location hotel not clean and staff not very welcoming. In a time of covid you'd think cleaning and sanitizing would increase; however, no housekeeping services during a 3 nite stay and veryy dirty common areas and stairwell's(see pics). Same food on stairwell's during 3 nite stay. Tables in lobby not cleaned. Bistro closed so no coffee. Seems as if they cut all services and amenities to save them money and put customers at risk but not their rates. Definitely will avoid this location in future visits to salt lake area.

We had a fantastic time staying at this hotel!! It was extremely clean, comfortable, and modern. Although we only stayed one night, we definitely thought of staying longer since it was such a lovely hotel!! One of the best things about this Marriot was Hope!! She was warm, friendly, and kind. I actually lost my glasses after my stay at this hotel, and Hope personally went to my room and looked for my glasses and actually found them!!!!! I was beyond grateful for her willingness to go out of her way to help me out! Thank you so much Hope for being at the Marriot and being such a wonderful human.
