My wife and I stayed in the top floor (3 floors total). The staff were very courteous and professional. Our room was clean and fresh. The mattress was a bit too firm from what I'm used to, but it was a good night's sleep.
Great hotel and staff. , Fire alarm and Fire Sprinkler system work great. I'm a fire marshal what do you expect.
It is a good place to rest, quiet and in a good location to travel to different destinations.
I spent the night at this hotel and conducted the meeting. The property is clean and well taken care of. The staff is very friendly. The hotel that was not in the best area of town. I would definitely use this hotel again though.
Staff was friendly and the room was very nice. Recommended for a quick overnight stay prior to an early flight. Not much in the general area for a bite to eat though.

The place looks great and your room looks great until you get to your bathroom that clearly needs a full renovation. The tub in my room was peeling ...actively. My shower consisted of a regular shower AND a foot soak (since the drain was backed up...disgusting) with the peeling pieces floating around. The remote didn't work. And there wasn't a shelf in the fridge, it was just missing. It's very inconsistent. I was not happy with my stay during my already stressful time.
EVERYTHING LOOKS NICE!! Had a horrible check in though.I was told I couldn't check the rooms before hand, but was assured everything worked perfectly.. "NOT!!!!"
Called front desk to request someone come check the heat in my room nobody showed! I went down to change rooms and received no apologies for the inconvenience of not having heat.
Have stayed at this hotel multiple times when leaving out of the Richmond airport, and it's very good!
Typical hotel but good service and shuttle takes you in a 3 mile radius and it s alot of things around

I just slept here one night and didn t have any interaction with the staff. I will say that I slept well and the bed was comfortable. The television worked well. The shower functioned as needed with hot water. Thanks for reading my review and a thumbs up would be nice. Good luck to you and yours.
This is one of the worst hotels in Richmond by the airport.. horrible customer service, no shuttles from the airport, the shuttle driver is a big layer he keep telling people we do provide a 24h service from the airport while I took a cab he was blaming the cab driver why you bringing these people? I was waiting for hour until 1:00am no shuttles . Do not stay at this hotel.
Great friendly staff and room was nice and comfortable. Proximity to airport is the best.

A nice enough property but leaves a bit to be desired. The presentation of the buffet breakfast was poor. When the building maintenance worker with 50 keys on their hip and wearing work boots wheels the food in ..... that's a poor presentation along with questionable quality food. It that's the amount of importance you're going to place on breakfast, then you shouldn't even offer it.

This has been my hotel of choice for over 20 years when I travel to Richmond, VA this stay was the ABSOLUTE WORST!!!
When I checked the desk area was consumed with marijuana smell, which followed all the way the 2nd floor which is what floor my room was on. Once in the room the air didn t work. I was moved to the 1st floor and the room was consumed with cigarette smoke I thought there is a huge sign that says no smoking and why is this happening. To top off my stay this bugs!!! I couldn t take another day this I checked out and went to another hotel.
Very comfortable and updated room. The Bistro Was convenient for a late supper for a toddler and the shuttle was there and waiting when we came down at 4am. Couldn't have asked for a more pleasant stay!
Just not impressed with my stay here as a Marriott hotel. Staff not friendly. While in my room, hotel staff almost entered. This happened around 5 pm so I'm not sure what they would have been doing. The best thing was the comfortable bed but I would not stay here again.
This hotel was okay but apparently my room had water pressure issues, either too much or too little. They also had to install new satellite cables during my stay. This caused some awful noise during the late afternoon. On a plus, this hotel has a Starbucks inside.
Room was comfortable. Check in representative was courteous and efficient. Parking fee was outrageous. Listed as garage parking on receipt- no garage. I have stayed previously and there was no charge to park in the lot. There is no charge at the HGI nearby. After arriving at 1am, I was awakened by leaf blowers outside my room. Reported to the front desk clerk. No apology was offered.

Currently staying at this hotel. First room the AC was broken. Was moved and the AC is malfunctioning in second room. Thermostat set to 65 and room constantly at 74 and above.. barely blows any air. Tv in second room does not work. Night two without operational tv. Getting into hotel from other side of road requires you to go down street and do a U turn every time. 7/11 less than a block away has sketch people hanging out all hours of the night. Not a good representation of the Marriott brand or courtyard for that matter .. cannot recommend .
The location is ideal with food services nearby and the employees were friendly and competent
Not a bad hotel, staff was so so. Upon checkin front desk employee was very polite. Others that I encountered during my trip were not as courteous. Little things that I have come to expect from Courtyard were lacking. Customer service wasn't bad it just wasn't as welcoming as I have experienced in the past.
Only my second visit to a Marriott. Svc was great. However, I was taken aback when you have to pay $3.75 bottle of water that they in the room. A smaller complimentary bottle would go a long way.
Think this could be a 5* hotel. Need a little TLC as far as maintenance. Since we were near airport, volume of traffic could explain the maintenance issues.
All and all my stay was good.

Rooms updated. Room preference of upper floor not honored for gold elite status. Bistro not operational after breakfast. Not such a hot neighborhood. Will stay again due to proximity to meetings.

Bad experience all around. First room had construction going on in the room next to us, EXTREMELY LOUD, I don't even know why they would put us there in the first place. Second room had dirty linens, the toilet had to be manually flushed from inside the tank, and the worst part....cockroaches. Also did not have any cribs or pack and play for our youngest to sleep in. Staff did not seem surprised at all about the toilet and roaches. I expect more from Marriot.
I checked in very late with 3 kids on my way from Florida to Philly. I checked in with the Marriott mobile app. Also requested extra pillows. Everything was waiting for me when I arrived. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was convenient to the freeway. Price was reasonable for the quality of the room.

Well maintained business class hotel very close to the airport
Very clean and well appointed. The fitness area was spotless and the pool even more so. The shower has plenty of pressure and piping hot water. Starbucks on site will make breakfast the highlight of your stay.
Owners are terrible, needs a renovation. Executive housekeeper is amazing, she's the best thing about the hotel
Staff lovely. Hotel up to its usual standards with added hand sanitizer at check-in and elevator. Room had the "we cleaned it" sticker, I felt safe enough from COVID there. Arby's and those nearby restaurants were open.
Internet down for 3 days and counting. No coffee in lobby before 0700, one regular coffee for in-room brewing (horrible coffee). Room seemed clean and had nice furnishings. Both beds in my room were sagging in the middle and most likely should have been replaced long ago. Not impressed with this property or the concern for providing customers the amenities advertised. I also noticed someone sleeping, wrapped in a blanket in the "Business Center" just off the lobby.
Very helpful during my short stay. Their breakfast bar is a starbucks.
