Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Langhorn Review

Spacious and comfortable room and the perfect distance from Sesame Place. Great service at the Bistro. Offers shuttle service to Sesame Place. Fantastic driver in the morning. However, be sure to stake your claim on the shuttle back to the hotel. The afternoon/evening driver does not check who has been waiting at the shuttle pick up the longest. The driver seems to take the people who push to the front of the line first. Very sloppy set up and could definitely be improved upon.

I wish I could give them no star. The staff are so unprofessional and unfriendly. Not welcoming at all. The rooms are not properly cleaned. Totally different from all the other Marriot hotels I've lodged in.

blizzard wiped out power to a large portion of the area, the hotel was PACKED with weary customers, and the staff stepped up huge to help everybody. the rooms were comfortable and the hotel was spotless top to bottom.

Very close to sesame place. Nice staff. Indoor pool. Rooms have air conditioning and heat. Rooms also come with a small balcony to step out on with two chairs for sitting and a small table. They offer breakfast also. And they have a mini store inside. Ice machine on premises also. Pool is located on ground floor. Gym is located adjacent to the pool. Nice outdoor sitting area.

Horrible! The place is filthy! Children were running up and down the hallways at 7:00a.m. unsupervised. When we finally got back to sleep, houskeeping knocked on the door every 20 minutes. The manager Rizza Herrera refused to grant us a late check out. The shower had no pressure. There are other hotels in the area...

Here for Sesame Place and it is very convenient with a shuttle all day. The rooms are poorly laid out and poorly maintained. The beds are heavily used and not that comfortable but ok for a night or two. The breakfast is very good and the staff does a great job keeping it full. The rooms are cleaned pretty well. I would recommend only a few day stay not for extended.

I've stayed here twice.. Ironically in the same room. Both times we stayed, the whirlpool was disgusting. If Google would allow me to add a photo I would. Tub was clean until you turned on the jets then the water would turn bright yellow and sud up without any soap in the water. I will NEVER stay here again. The guy at the front desk was less than bothered to stand up to speak to me and sent a maintenance guy to look at the tub. It's clearly not broken just really dirty. He then had the nerve to insult us and tell us we looked like we needed to relax.

A very last minute overnight trip to sesame place landed our family here. We enjoyed our stay in the spacious and clean room and also had a great time at the indoor pool in the evening.

Rooms were clean. Everything looked new and neat. Never got to try the food. The elevator made a few noises. Overall was a nice place.

Excellent service, friendly staff, and clean rooms. Pool is the only downside.

The staff was superb. The nighttime guy assisted me very well helping me get my keys out of my truck. Thanks my brother and of course Super Mary. She was everywhere and extremely pleasant . She treated us so special like we were the only guest there in a sold out hotel. I definitely will be visiting again. You guys are totally AWESOME.

Very nice hotel. The staff were friendly & welcoming, the hotel & rooms themselves were very clean & it's conveniently located to Sesame Place & various restaurant & mall. The only downfall was that their indoor swimming pool was heavily chlorinated, so much so that it took my breath away when I walked in the pool room, I felt like I couldn't breathe & it completely bleached out my husband's swim trunks. I heard other guests complain of this as well.

This Courtyard should not be included as a Marriott branded hotel, the property failed on many fronts:

Check-in: Front desk staff was not friendly and appeared to be inconvenienced to complete my check-in

Room: Beyond tired, the room should have been removed from service. Closet doors were missing, furniture was tattered, bathroom while clean was ancient and the tub didn t drain, beds were worn and tired.

Housekeeping: on two of the four day of our stay the room was not made up, after the first missed day we spoke to the front desk who assured us that the room would be made up, it was not.

Check-Out: staff was pleasant enough, but when I summarized our complaints the staff member was more excited to explain to me that they were beginning a renovation than addressing our concerns.

A soon-to-be scheduled renovation does not absolve a hotel property from providing basic services courteous staff, trained housekeeping staff, proper maintenance and management that perform quality review and training to ensure that basic services are provided.

Extremely disappointed in this property it should be removed from the portfolio.

Great property and the Bistro staff are second to none!!!

Night auditor had an odd sense of humor on check in stating they canceled the res but then 'just kidding' wasnt the best first impression. Overall though fantastic stay. Breakfast was amazing and my family slept happily even though it was only a few hours.

Hopefully they will finish renovations soon. They need it. Staff was friendly. Location was quiet. Not a bad experience, just not the same as other Courtyards.

Close to Sesame Street attraction and restaurants and shops. No free breakfast for Marriott Gold or Platinum members. Definitely a little bit disappointed.

I used to travel extensively for work and often stayed at Marriott Courtyards. They are often very predictable in what you get. This hotel was no different. We stayed at the property to visit Sesame Place. The hotel is very close and runs an on demand shuttle to and from the park. There is an on-site bar and bistro. There is also an indoor unattended pool. Due to a maintenance issue we got moved to a suite which was roomy but not opulent which I kind of expected. A few minor gripes is that the pool is not heated and there were a few signs of neglect in maintenance but nothing that made the stay a disaster. I would definitely come back again.

Staff was great, but room had a couple issues out of the gate like phones not being plugged back in by housekeeping and the door eye hole being blurred. Otherwise run of the mill Courtyard which will be generally the same between all of them.

No complaints about the room at all, but the Starbucks in the lobby needs to start having venti cold cups.

Property is very close to Sesame Place so be prepared for kids and noise. The restaurant is pretty bad.

Parking could be hard tried to get handicap room was told ok when arrived not available

Lovely hotel for families, just check in now. Rooms are big,clean, fresh and bed is comfy. We went down to use the indoor pool, small but good. The receptionist are super friendly, informative. Close to Sesame place where we will be heading soon. Highly reccomended.

The Marriott was perfect for staying to go to Sesame Place. The check in process went really well and the woman at the front desk was very helpful. She called a shuttle for us right away to get to Sesame Place. The only downside was there appeared to be only 1 elevator working. The breakfast the was provided was delicious. We enjoyed our stay!

Great location. Located off of Route 1 and Interstate 95. Plenty of parking available even for larger vehicles. My room was a good size and very clean. The staff was was very friendly and helpful. A lot of food options available very close to the property.

People here we're super nice and really helpful! The rooms were clean and nice and staff was quick to get us anything that we needed (extra blankets or pillows). There is a nice bar/lounge in the lobby that stays open until 10pm. There is a shuttle to take you over to sesame place and Jack the driver was amazing! The pool is small, but enough to play in for a bit.

Stayed here while visiting Sesame place. I got nervous because some of the ratings were awful, but it's a fine place. Not the nicest, but perfect for what we need. Shuttle runs to and from the park regularly, and it's clean and comfortable. Rooms are a good size too.

The hotel is a bit overpriced for the amenities (but the staff goes above and beyond which made up for the cost). We were visiting Sesame Place and the hotel allowed us to leave our car and take the shuttle the day we going to be checked in and the day we checked out in the morning, saving the expense and hassle of dealing with parking at the park. Staff was friendly and responsive. Hotel pool is unheated and VERY cold. Would recommend.

Very convenient location to Sesame Place, updated decor but building is maybe older judging by flip knob rather than flip panel lightswitch, nice and clean, pool and fitness center are small, wifi had difficulties not easily rectified by front desk necessitating a call to a central number though proved to be similarly unhelpful. TV was very large with good picture. Shampoo and bodywash are not in little bottles but in dispensers attached to the shower wall, better the less plastic waste I feel. Room had shower stall with not well closing door, no bathtub but maybe that had to do with it being a handicapped room though none in our party are handicapped. When I called to make reservation I was told my request for pack n play would be fulfilled but when we arrived they were all gone. Can't they keep track of such?!

The bistro is great I've never stayed there but it looks awesome

Good hotel with very friendly staff. They are very accommodating and i was allowed to check in early. This hotel shuttles you to Sesame Place but if you wanted to drive its only 4mins away. Rooms are typical nothing spectacular but they were cleaned. Overall a good hotel.

It's A Great Place But It Wasn't What We Expected. 1st We Were Only Supposed To Pay $100 But Instead They Charged A Extra $90!!
When We Had Got Back My Mom Had To Call The Bank To Get The Money Back.

On The Website They Said They Had A Jacuzzi Tub Near The Pool Area But There Was No Jacuzzi Pool, Some Of The People That Were On Vacation With Me They Where Very Disappointed.
Last They Messed Up Our Room Key.
The Room Key Wouldn't Detect Our Hotel Room And We Tried For 5 Mins And It Wouldn't Work.
We Went To The Main Lobby To Get A New Key.
We Talked To A Person And They Said They Had That Problem To Here!

The rooms were gross and dirty. There was stains on the wall, hair in the shower and on our towels. Mold!!! Mold on the shower curtain. They gave us 2 conditioners and no soap. The room and hotel was old and dated. I don't suggest staying here. Location was great and staff was helpful and nice. The shuttle was slow.

Stayed one night with the kids and the staff was good. The breakfast was fantastic kids loved it. The room were nice and clean.we recommend to are family and friends.

Our first impression during checkin was terrible, and room was not clean when we arrive (early checkin was mark via Marriott webpage). But management was quick with their response and the rest of staff was excellent.

Staff here is very friendly. Owners clearly treat them well, as they all seem to enjoy their jobs which reflects well on their guests. Rooms are always clean, great bang for your buck if you're in the area.

The location and the general hotel staff are fine. The big issue is with the Bistro/Bar. We stayed here Friday and Saturday night. Friday night we tried to call down to order food from the Bistro, only to be told that there was only one person working there and we would have to come down and order in person (contrary to what the in-room menu said). Sure enough, we discovered that the bar/bistro, for which advertising is plastered all over the hotel, is horribly understaffed. There is one person taking orders, making drinks, and helping to prepare food. My wife waited twenty minutes just to place an order and get a round of drinks, and then we waited almost forty minutes for the food. The second night, my wife and I went downstairs at 8:45 for drinks. Despite being the only person in line my drink order was not taken until 9:00 and we didn t get the drinks until 9:15. During that half hour I stood at the counter and watched patiently as the lone employee prepared and delivered food to people who had clearly been waiting a very long time. We wanted a second round of drinks but by that time there was a line of 7-8 people just waiting to get their order taken and the bar closed in 20 minutes. Most of these people just walked away looking unhappy as the sole employee barely glanced in their direction. The lounge and bistro setup is actually very nice and if they were adequately staffed to serve customers I would have given this a much higher rating. As it is, the terrible service at the bar/bistro is a deal breaker, especially in light of how much advertising there is for it throughout the hotel. Extremely disappointing.

Rooms are clean, but needs to have microwaves for convenience in the rooms. Be prepared for whining kids since they are part of a Sesame Place package.

We came to visit Sesame Place and the hotel was a short shuttle trip away. The shuttle drivers were great and have our kids little rubber duckies on the way back from the park. The room was about what we expected for the price point, although it could have been a little bit cleaner. We ate once at the little bistro in the lobby and honestly it was the best meal of our trip. They went out of their way to make the food how we liked it and the service was great. We also had their weekend Sesame Street buffet and the food was good, the service was friendly and very understanding when our small children made a mess. I would definitely recommend this hotel to someone coming to go to Sesame Place.

Room very nice. But did not provide enough towels for all registered guests. Breakfast good, but crowded. Paid for breakfast buffet but no one ever checked for ticket and buffet was overcrowded.
