I know Covid has affected the hospitality industry in ways more than we can imagine. But now when it's reopening, things can certainly be made optimistic. Mariott hotels have a name and such lacklustre maintenance issues should not come in between that

"Lucknow- The lands of nawabs" . Most of us must have heard this sobriquet of this city but what catches the attention more is the mouth watering, famous cuisine called the Awadhi cuisine. . Being the native cuisine of this city it mainly consists of non vegetarian dishes. One of the major dishes under this cuisine is Kebabs alongside scrumptious biryani. . . Yesterday was the first time we went for a full fledged Awadhi food festival (and trust us it was on our list for the longest time; finally checked it off ) at one of the best hotels in Agra . There were zillion number of dishes, both vegetarian and non vegetarian beautifully placed in different stations (can't discuss about all the dishes here; but it was okish). Some of the best and our personal favourite being chaat corner, salad & fruit station, pastry corner and dessert parlour! . Now getting back to the ambiance; it was lit With such western feels to the place you get some ear pleasing traditional music to enjoy while having your food. They have also arranged for a traditional Rajasthani puppet show! SAY WHAATTT!! . We would also like to mention about their hospitality which was next level. From the hotel management to the chef's, all were present there and helping us in every possible manner. The chef was explaining us about all the dishes and there significance while the management was kind enough to cater to our needs! . Lastly as an act of sweet gesture they gave us a chocolate box to relish! . . Finally our verdict would be to go and experience this extravagant food festival for yourselves and do let us know your experience in the comment section below . . All the details about the event What- Daawat E Awadh Food Fest Price- 1399 plus taxes Date- 15 May- 25 May
The most amazing experience with highest standards of cleanliness, finest dining experience and an adorable staff behaviour. They are following Covid protocols in right earnest and ensuring that the guests are absolutely safe in all aspects. Can't wait to visit again........ and again.
Overall a pleasant stay. I stayed here for 15 days during my project work in Agra and it went well with a few disappointments. There was power cuts a multiple times during my stay, which was a bit irritating as compared to 5star hotel. The food served was average, although if you order customised home style food they would serve you better. A stay for 2 nights would be ideal at this place.
Pretty good place especially for the price. We paid 4.4k per room for a 5 star property. We took 3 rooms. Two of them had a good view, facing the pool. Room have good modern interiors. One double bed is sufficient for a couple and a kid. Rooms with twin beds were good enough for a couple with 2 kids.
Check in time, hospitality could have been better. I had to ask for the welcome drinks a couple of times, before I had to help myself. Room service was good. Restaurant prices were typical for a 5 star property.
Beautiful place with good ambience in evening it looks even more beautiful with all that lights set-up. Decent food very good staff service one of the classic place to go out on a date with friends and family
Clean and well maintained with polite staff. Good swimming pool but needs better towel service. The breakfast has many choices but needs to open on time so early risers can eat and run. Outdoor dining needs to be reopened soon.
Good hotel much better than all others ,they upgraded our room to pool view room for free.for 3500 rs we stayed 3 people plus breakfast.I will recomend all to visit marriot
Location is good, not in a congested area, also Cyber Hub Gurgaon kinda place just few meters away from hotel. If you are in a group then good night out/ party options available there.
Coming back to Hotel, I got 2 night stay with both breakfast and dinner for 10k with an option to upgrade for free. They upgraded me to a Terrace Room (although the room was of no use to us as couple). Food esp. buffet was nice. Hotel seems old now, signs of wear and tear evident in rooms/furniture.
It was a very nice stay. Enjoyed it a lot....very relaxing. Staff was very helpful and kind. Mr Piyush and Mr Zakir were extremely cooperative and took good care of us. Mr Raju (our housekeeper) prepared the rooms very nicely.
