I have read complaints from legal services in general in Belize, not just this one, about people saying things move slow. This is no fault of the firms in my opinion. Legal matters are slow to begin with, and bear in mind Belize is a developing nation with a different culture than where most tourists come from. My advice is to keep your expectations realistic and plan for it to take some time. Overall, Courtenay Coye was able to resolve the matter to my complete satisfaction at a reasonable cost in what I thought was a reasonable amount of time given the circumstances.
