This was once a wonderful hidden gem and fairly well lived up to its name of "World's Largest General Store". I could have easily given it another star or two. Unfortunately it suffered a fire several years ago. They trudged on and put up an immense permanent tent/shelter to allow them to put out various things from their warehouse and try and keep in business, and also used some little separate buildings for more store/pet space. That went on for over a couple of years and eventually they mustered the money together to try and rebuild the main building. Unfortunately their choice of building was a basic 1 floor warehouse type plan, and probably less than half of the original floor space they once had. It's no where near the interesting building with a winding/twisting shopping path they had, and it was the hunt in and around to see all the various wares they used to sell that could keep you busy and having some browsing fun. If they have the money or courage to invest, they could easily add on to the main building (and maybe some other buildings) and make it the creative layout they once had, with a much wider inventory to make it the "Largest General Store" it once was. They do continue to try some seasonal events throughout the year to bring in more visitors, but some of those things are few and far between, and they also need more promotional events as well as wider spread advertisements to really bring in the customer flow they need to also help.

Coolest place ever! They have so much stuff and they way the set it up is to follow a yellow brick road. Everything from candy chocolates, to hardware to crocks. Then when done go eat some awesome itialian food followed with some soft serve ice cream. After all that then head to their arcade, bowling alley, bumper cars. Must stop place when in the area.

Honestly shocked that this place is even on the map for sightseeing in the area: the 'petting zoo' consists of two alpacas, some goats, and some birds, none of which you can pet? The store consists of cheap knockoff kitchy items for purchase like tin animals and large wooden decorative stars, with a bunch of weird terrifying life sized taxidermy and Wizard of Oz figures. The 'best' part was the wall of inflammatory zero-tolerance signs for purchase, saying things like 'There are no transgender bathrooms here, deal with it!'... Do not waste your time or money here, there is literally nothing worth seeing.

One of a kind place. It will take you hours to explore so better make a day of it. From the petting zoo and laser tag and game center areas outside to the pet store, restaurant and unique store section inside. Including a wonderful candy and fudge store.

We absolutely love going here! They have so much stuff to look at, it's crazy! They even have a pet store inside! We can't take a vacation without getting our little fur baby a new toy, lol. If you're in the area stop and check this place out for sure. I wanted to take one of their puppies home, but I don't think my current dog would approve.

This place calls itself the world's largest general store. And rightly so they sell everything under the sun which you can associate with a general store.
They have big pet section with schools of fishes, dogs, cats, even ferrets, birds, rabbits, etc.
There are mechanised models/exhibits also which kids like a lot.
There is a Small restaurant on site which has pretty huge portion sizes of food and ice creams.

Really enjoyed the time at country junction, it really has added some new items for kids and are starting to improve what was lost in fire many years ago. Prices abit high but all in all and nice place to spend a day out with family.

Stopped here with my two kids and my girlfriend for a fall day trip. We all got the $10 day pass which includes a decent amount of stuff like hay ride, gord toss, small petting zoo and some other things. Rides are extra. Other things like paintball hay ride also cost extra. All in all we enjoyed ourselves. We went shopping for a bit on the inside but the items in the store aren't really my taste but I can see the appeal. Oh also we ate outside. The corn stand was very good. Recommended.

I was a little disappointed as this place was not what I expected from what I read on line. This place is large and has a lot of space for so much more. But, I was hungry for home made fudge and they did deliver! The fudge was out of this world! There was a very noisy kid's area that sounded like the kids were having a good time. I wasn't brave enough to check it out in.

Went there for the holidays to show the kids a piece of my childhood... Bought a mug and got great ideas for Christmas.

But I won't spend any more money there after the experience. I mean, on the upside they got some free stuff to do... On the down side everything else... But Walmart and Amazon had all the toys I would have bought that day and now the kids won't see them... and we don't have to deal with the Sunday rudeness ya'll have!

This is not a quick "Just running in to grab a few things" kind of place. This place is epic. In the true meaning of the word... huge! Pouring zoo, Ace hardware store, arcade, restaurant, ice cream parlor, pet store, furniture store, winery, fudge shop, home decor, construction supply and heavy equipment rental, pumpkin patch, haunted hayride/ house,...etc. or just goes on and on and on.

If you do not enjoy browsing... stay away. If having everything invert one thing you may need is your thing, by all means this is your place.

The original store was unique and very original. They have rebuilt after the fire and it's missing sone of the magic that was once there. The fall festival is like the old town carnivals of yesteryear. They do keep adding to the experience with arcades, restaurants and other activities in the store.

Endless isles of stuff .From live animals to furniture, food, fiberglass animals , sweets lawn/ garden items ,the largest collection of jellies and jam I've ever seen. I felt like a rat in a maze. They have a painted yellow brick path to follow otherwise you may not make it out til the next day. Nice staff .

It's a fun little day trip!
My husband & I stopped in since we were in the Poconos w/o much to do during the cold & the pandemic. We only saw whats inside but I was told we need to stop back in warmer weather to enjoy the outside property as well. Walking the store still took us over an hour since theres alot of unique items then we played some games in the arcade as well.

Has alot of things to look at and buy. I hadn't been in one of these stores in years since the one that was near where I live closed. Kids might enjoy all of the little animatronic displays but it looks like you have to pay for a card in order to see them move and talk.

Great place to take the family. A lot to see and do. The store is huge with tons of items to buy. There are many areas such as candy, outdoor accessories, pets, wine just to name a few. There are public restrooms and a food court when you first walk in. Left to the building has an animal petting area and there are activities for the family, kids, and teens. Country Junction has escape rooms, laser tag, and Battle Zone with nerf guns. I love the Lehighton area and visit often. Check their website for more info and upcoming events. I highly recommend.
