Honestly I would love nothing more than to say staying here has been an amazing experience, however I cannot. I have lived here for about a year and a half now (currently in my second year). The apartments are a little outdated but for the price that you pay with the square footage you get is in my opinion completely worthwhile, I actually love the layout of the 2 bed 2 bath w/ the loft (which is what i have). Unfortunately what completely ruins it for me would be the maintenance here, every time i have called they have come out "addressed" my issues and left. My main issue has been with my a/c ever since i have moved in my apartment would not stay cool. They first came out and told me that it was due to the door that was used to hide away the a/c by restricting the airflow, me not really putting appearance over being cool said it was fine to take the door off (hoping this would solve the issue). Unfortunately it did not and when I called back a second time because it was over 80 degrees in my home they stated that it was not considered an emergency and informed me of their normal hours of operation. I then called back again because the a/c has now started to leak, they just insisted that i put something underneath to catch the water (it is still leaking to this day) and the maintenance worker stated he agreed with me that he felt it was too hot and insisted that it was the outside unit that went bad. Later that week they replaced that unit and I was optimistic that this would solve the issue (with it approaching fall with the cooler weather it was hard to tell) however after facing a pretty warm month and noticing that my home still ranges from 78-85 degrees, i see now that the issue is still not resolved. Not only must i accept that they are most likely not going to fix this issue as it has been reported to them on several occasions, i have to run my a/c almost all day all night to try to keep it as cool as possible which caused my electric bill to be increased to approximately $450, with this issue i simply could not recommend this apartment complex, but if you do choose to live here i hope your experiences are better than mine.

Pros:
1. Friendly staff
2. Large floor plans
3. Cheap for the amount of space

Cons:
1. Any issues would likely go unsolved
2. Walls are easily heard through
3. Maintenance in general with the apartments as well as the landscape are lackluster at best. (yes i understand they are understaffed however after 1.5 yrs they should have had that issued resolved)

If I were to be contacted by anyone at Country Club to discuss this matter I would be more than happy to update this review to provide anyone with any additional information.

*I have also included photos showing what the a/c looks like with the thing i was told to catch the water with, as well as the current temperature in my home.
*Also I did want full transparency, because of the temperatures in the home the electric bill does take into account of running my own a/c window units to at least keep the bedrooms cool for my pets/guest.

*Update! Just one more exciting experience here I saw a raccoon run up my wall outside from my deck to the inside of my wall (I have not called maintenance yet as I work at a bank therefore they are closed when I get off and cannot call during the week I will have to call them this weekend) I will post pictures of the hole the raccoon made to get in.

I have been living at this complex for two years. I'm sad to go. It's a perfect location. I like the layout of the apartments. Some apartments like mine face the woods and allow more privacy. The site in general is well maintained. Maintenance responds in a timely manner. They are respectful and polite and keep you updated until they get the job done. The office staff is always friendly and helpful. One of my favorite apartments that I have lived at over the last several years.

This place. When I first moved in it was actually great! I lived in a building near the second pool, great value for how much square footage you get, and maintenance was quick to respond. I had a few issues with the AC when I first moved in, but it was fixed very quickly. I actually recommended this place and got someone to move here a few years ago. The last 2 years have really gone downhill FAST.

The buildings are old and are not being maintained. I had 2 sliding doors that leaked. And when I say leaked the water would stream in during heavy storms. They eventually fixed it a year later after trying several different things. There are birds that make nests in the dryer vents. When I told them about it they asked if I wanted to kill baby birds because they would have to clean the nests out. Mold grew in the bathroom several different times. When I told them about it the last time they tried to blame me and at first refused to fix it until I got the property manager out there. I told them the mold probably kept coming back because the exhaust fan made noise but didn t pull any moisture out. The maintenance man told me that exhaust fans aren t there to pull moisture out- they re there for stinky movements. Was never fixed. Okay.

They close the lower pool at 5 PM in the summers. It s light out until 8 or 9 PM. Why that early? When I first moved here it was open until 9 and they never locked the gates. There wasn t ever any issues with it.

Over the 3 years I lived here they raised the rent about $300. I paid every month on time and it really stinks when places like this don t treat their good residences with any kind of loyalty.

The main office ladies were always very pleasant and nice, but the maintenance and managers seem to forget they re working with people who live there and call the complex their home. The disrespect that I received from some of them was out of this world.

Having been a resident of this Complex for almost 9 years, I have nothing but good things to say about Country Club Apartments. I am living here because it is an older complex, built well and the staff has been very helpful. I've read some of the comments about the Complex and I find them a little disturbing. Granted not everything goes smoothly in all situations but overall this organization does a really great job at resolving resident issues. My previous requests for maintenance were taken care of in a reasonable amount of time. Depending on the complexity of the maintenance requests, that were submitted ahead of mine, may have resulted in a delayed response. Most of the comments I see are because someone gets mad and the ensuing comment(s) are designed to "get back" at the Complex and serves no purpose other than airing one's feelings. See the same thing in restaurant reviews. The one comment about trash being left in the area outside their apartment has absolutely nothing to do with the complex. A phone call to the office or a visit with the neighbor may have resolved the issue but instead posted the issue in the comments section. I am not discounting issues others have experienced but I have spoken with friends living in other apartment complexes and they actually have stories of very poor maintenance almost to the point of neglect. The ironic thing is they moved to their existing apartment from Country Club. Overall I am very happy with this property, and realistically like anywhere else, including myself, there is always room for improvement.

Rude, unprofessional office staff

Rude, unprofessional office staff
Cheap appliances/hardware
Thin walls & loud neighbors
Leasing office constantly trying to police unimportant rules and turning a blind eye to actual issues
Slanted walkways that have caused multiple injuries when it snows

I have lived here for almost two years and have been very hesitant to leave an honest review for fear of being further singled out and mistreated by office staff since moving is not currently a good option for us. The individuals working in the office are very unprofessional and I m surprised they were chosen for a job that should include customer service. Our apartment has also had several maintenance issues, and even though the maintenance staff are very friendly and handle problems quickly (honestly the maintenance staff themselves are great), the apartment generally only does temporary fixes without taking care of the actual problem. I ve had leaks from my bathroom sink multiple times, problems with the AC, issues with the kitchen plumbing that lead to dirty water overflowing from the bottom of the dishwasher, and multiple issues with flooding from the apartment above us, one of which I was told over the phone by office staff was not an emergency issue while I watched water dripping from the ceiling in a number of places. After trying to talk to the leasing office about an issue it almost seems they have held a grudge and try to find any and every reason to send us notices about things like cosmetic issues with our balcony while several of our neighbors do the same (and more) with seemingly no action (just FYI we are not the ones hanging clothes off our balcony mentioned by another resident) . We always pay our bills on time and have done our best to be compliant with every request from the office but overall this has been an awful experience.

Consistently poor maintenance. Refused to clean the carpets after there was flooding due to poor drainage that I consistently warned them about. Also be prepared to pay for the carpet after move out. Also the manager did not respond to my email disputing the charge for the entire carpet.

A woman had her car robbed at gunpoint and the complex has not made any communication to the residents on this issue. One would think they would plan to implement security cameras or something of the sort. Throwaway account for obvious reasons. Will remove review if the complex does their part in addressing this issue.

**Edit** Complex replied with the usual generic response. They have not communicated this incident to the residents nor have they communicated any security measures they plan to implement to prevent these issues from occurring at their complex. I believe this speaks volumes.

Update: can I ask why it s acceptable to give two days notice before an inspection where I will have to make sure my dog has somewhere to go?

The highlight of this complex is the layouts of the apartments and the price. They are one of the cheapest places in the area that you can get a 2 bed/2 bath. Unfortunately, they are the cheapest for a reason.

I have been here three years, and I ve been too afraid to move based on the horror stories I ve heard after people move out. My carpets are generally clean, but I mean... let s face it, I ve been here 3 years, and this carpet was cheaply made and installed.... I am fully expecting for them to find a stain or to look at some of it that has been ripped or frayed and charge me a carpet replacement, even though I know for a fact that they are putting in hardwood floors and would rip it up anyway.

I can t even walk my dog on the common ground closest to my building due to the maintenance staff riding around the grass in their golf carts, creating very large divots that fill with mud and water when it rains. My building happens to be on somewhat of a slope, so water pools and collects there and has no where to drain. The golf carts have ruined the grounds and it truly makes me wonder why the staff would want their property to look like that.

The two pools are nice, but the pool closest to my home closes at 5, which is incredibly inconvenient for people who have to work and get off at 5. Sure, I can go to the other pool, but if convenience is what this complex is striving for, it misses the mark. When the pool is open, the head maintenance man often closes it early, because he doesn t want to deal with it. Each pool has a designated day they close it for cleaning.... but somehow, it winds up randomly being closed on days it s supposed to be open due to cleaning. You d think you d clean the pool on the days that you specifically close to clean..but who am I but a lowly resident? Lol.

You also cannot drink alcohol at the pools. I understand that this is because of problems they have had in the past with unruly people partying around kids, cursing, glass bottles, etc. I am a responsible adult who pays a lot of money to live here, and I think I should be able to enjoy a beverage by the pool, but instead we are policed and the staff does cooler checks. It seems it would be more beneficial to hire a pool monitor and pay them $10 an hour to keep guests happy and monitor the alcohol situations I know they make enough money to do so.

They have had inspections once or twice a year where they have to enter my apartment, but can t make appointments due to the large number of apartments in the complex... understandable. But I ve had situations where they have stuck a flyer on my door less than 24 hours before they are coming, leaving me scrambling to find somewhere for my dog to go while I m at work.

I haven t had any problems with appliances, and when I do, maintenance staff comes quickly. I agree they offer quick fixes instead of actually dealing with the problem.

The neighbors above me are VERY loud, and it has always been quiet since I ve lived here... I m guessing that all the apartments are slowly going to be getting louder and louder due to the wood floors being put in. I can literally hear every move my neighbor above me makes. VERY thin walls and ceilings.

The only positive things I can say about the complex are they allow pets, the pools themselves are nice (although they re sometimes hard to enjoy with all the rules), and the grounds are beautiful- lots of big trees that look great in the fall.

And yes, I have come to the staff with the majority of these complaints, so when you tell me to reach out and contact you, you can save your breath I have tried, you don t care.
