I have been using Country Lion for 7 years now for our annual trip to Royal Ascot. They have been very professional and their drivers are fantastic.

They gave me the wrong mini bus for starters . had to come back after I had got home. Had to return the other one as the paperwork wasnt correct and had wrong details on it. This would have affected me if i would have been stopped by the police. Spoke to the office manager there who is very rude and abusive. They offered me 20 pounds compensation which I turned down. Lauren st reception is amazing. Job well done to you. You should be there new office manager. Be wary when getting self drive vehicles from them.

Brilliant service from start to finish would recommend and definitely use again

We recently booked a coach from this company to take a class of children from Milton Keynes to Northampton. The coach driver arrived on time and was really friendly and patient when we were running a little late. He was also on time when collecting us to take us home. The coach itself was in good condition, it was clean and all of the seat belts and arm rests were all working well. My only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that the operators in their office were rude on the phone to some of my office staff. Would recommend.

Have hired vans from this company on multiple occasions, the vehicles are always clean and reliable. I always experience good customer service. Have recommended this company to friends and will continue to do so.

I HIRED A CAR AND IT NEARLY BROKE DOWN ON THE M1 AN HOUR AFTER I COLLECTED IT.

I RETURNED THE CAR AND THEY OFFERED ME A SKODA FABIA IF IT WASNT FOR THE FACT THAT I NEEDED A CAR THAT DAY I WOULD HAVE JUST GOT MY MONEY BACK.

I GOT THE SKODA FABIA WITH 7 BARS OF FUEL I RETURNED IT WITH 6 BARS AND THEY CHARGED ME 30 SOMETHING POUNDS.

I LIVE IN MILTON KEYNES AND WHEN I LEFT IT HAD 7 BARS BUT WHEN I WAS 5 MINUTES FROM COUNTRY LION IT WENT DOWN TO 6 BARS.

THIS COMPANY HAS ROBBED ME AND WHEN THE MANAGER CALLED ME ALL SHE WAS DOING WAS TRYING TO GIVE ME ATTITUDE SHE DIDNT CALL TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE ALL SHE CALLED TO DO WAS GIVE ME ATTITUDE.

I FELT THEY TREATED ME LIKE THIS BECAUSE OF RACISM AND THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO NOW BUT LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE WHICH WAS HIRING FROM THEM .

PEOPLE BE AWARE THIS COMPANY IS DODGY

If you are looking to book a coach hire service, avoid Country Lion at ALL COSTS.





The manager I spoke to was extremely patronising and was more concerned about point scoring rather than resolving the issue. His summary of events were full of lies and contradictions. For example, he said that they do not confirm bookings over the phone nor via email. Yet, their email stated otherwise.

Furthermore, he clearly said he will resolve the issue but when I asked how he plans on doing this he repeatedly side stepped the issue and avoided answering the question.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Recently used for private hire 2 coaches as part of our wedding day. Both coaches arrived on time and quality of the coaches were excellent. All guests very much appreciated the service and especially at the end of the night where one did multiple stops to drop guests off which was nice :) highly recommend. Emails answered promptly and competitive price

Never had any problems with vehicles, always clean and reliable.

If you in northampton and need to hire a van or bus then you camt go wrong

Didnt think of hiring a vehicle from a bus company but they have a full fleet of vehicles from cars to vans and bigger.
Would use again now I know what they do.

Professional coach company, would definitely recommend them

Just a note to the staff at country lion to express my sincere thanks for their help with my most recent minibus booking. The staff were really helpful and very accommodating to my needs. It turned a bad week around to some degree!

Having used the van hire previously I can only say good things about the company. Very competitive prices and decent reliable vehicles is all you could possibly need with self drive hire.

Worst service we have ever had, your company has absolutely no idea how to transport people from the M/K Stadium to the M/K Bowl after a concert.
We waited for transport along with 1000s of others 3/4hr and no transport.
At that point we walked to the bowl 35mins along with hundreds of others. During the walk 2 coaches past us. If we had remained it is estimated we would have waited at least 1.5 hrs.
We will never ever go to a concert again at M/K stadium as your company along with others have no idea how to organise the event. It also follows on we will never use your company for coach trips or holidays.
Very very poor performance

We booked a coach to take us to Royal Ascot this year and we contacted Country Lion to let them know that that all races have been stopped due public health and safety reasons and that we will be getting a full refund from Royal Ascot, But Sad to say that it s No from Country Lion this is a copy of their Email - Thank you for your email. Unfortunately as per our cancellation policy the deposit paid to secure the booking is non-refundable but as a gesture of goodwill we are willing to credit this amount against a future booking made with ourselves. As a company we are still operating transport adhering to social distancing guidelines but we do hope that we will be able to transport you in the future - How could they still be transporting people about with the distancing rule regarding trips, We shouldn t have cancelled and waited till Country Lion contacted us.

One of the wonderful drivers very nearly crashed into me today. It was my right of way and the driver decided to merge into me, very very close to hitting my car if I didn t move over. Called the HQ and they didn t apologise or even try to calm me down, just we will look at the footage to see if they were at fault I know my rights on the road and they were most definitely at fault!

There could have been children on the coach!!

AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAUGE!!!
