Stayed here a few years ago and absolutely loved it. The rooms over looking the water are beautiful, food and drinks were amazing and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The grounds are gorgeous. Looking to come back for another relaxing weekend away from the kids. 100% worth a visit.

The hotel was lovely, the staff friendly and the room was really nice, bright and spacious. The only downside was the food at the Xmas party we were attending, the starter was pate, which was good but came with 3 tiny pieces of semi crisp bread, totally inadequate for the generous portion of pate. Opted for the turkey dinner which came with 3 sprouts, 1 tiny slivver of carrot (not even a whole one) the roast potatoes were extremely dry and quite unpleasant served with a minimal amount of gravy. I would like to add that my husband had the pork which he said was nice, just not enough. Everything about the stay was very good, the evening had a great atmosphere, it was the meal that let it down. Such a shame for such a nice hotel.

Lovely place. Great setting in the Cotswolds Lakes, and really nice accommodation and lovely staff. Best De Vere I've been to. Only reason it's not getting 5* is because you can't take under-2s into the swimming pool... Being able to take our baby swimming was one of the main reasons we booked it.

Visited the hotel for couple of nights. The lobby and bar are specious and modern, and give a relaxed vibe. The rooms however are tired and are in desperate need of face lift. Staff was polite and happy to help.

If I was paying for a Spa day or weekend, having noisy kids screaming and jumping in the area would be unacceptable as it's not exactly a leisure centre location. Hotel should manage this better as plenty of people were mentioning this when we were there for weekend and it can only be damaging guests experience.

Large complex neatly settled at a picturesque lakeside with sensitivity Covid measures in place. Grest access to all the activities of the area.

Service has understandably suffered a bit.. such as room cleaning only every third day. Restaurant menu was a little uninspired. But overall a good stay!

having over 700 rooms on a largely flat layout means long walks, it also means late night guests will likely disturb you as they find their room. The location is lovely, but given this is all it has going, it is 'okay'.

Had to ask 4 times for a cot to be delivered to our room, it finally arrived at 11:30pm,so threw our whole routine to get our twins to bed. Room was small too and unsuitable for our family - staff seemed unconcerned at this. Cannot see why you'd pay the extra price to stay here when a Travelodge is comparable in size, but half of the price.

Pretty hotel with lovely surroundings. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and spacious. We just felt the whole experience was very average - I used to work in hotels for a long time, so maybe I expected a little more...
I felt the bar staff were a little aloof and weren't too enthusiastic to help (we asked if they did mocktails and the response was simply "no" when they could have suggested something else) and there was a lack of please's and thank you's in my opinion.
The spa was lovely with great facilities - the staff were friendly and experienced, our treatments were really enjoyable (we had a massage and dry floatation) and was great overall. The hotel has great facilities but small things can make someone's visit go from "meh" to "wow, that was great" x

Nice looking hotel with friendly staff. Facilities are limited and as a hotel guest you are lowest priority. Visited during Covid and their measures were very good however few people and staff actually obeyed any of them. The views are definitely the only things I recommend.
Edit: Got food poisoning from one of their burgers

The setting is beautiful and the hotel staff helpful and friendly. The only thing that needs some attention is the hot breakfast buffet. It gets quite busy and full during the summer months.

Good to have a gym and spa facilities after a long working day. Even has a route around the lake for a walk/run. Rooms are good, surprising to have a dyson hot/cold air fan and a really small TV. Would not recommend eating in the restaurant - tried different items in the menu twice and was not impressed by any of the dishes.

Loved the apartments here so much we will be going back again.
Fantastic both as a base of operations or if you want to stay close by with, as loads to do on your doorstep as well as slightly further a field.
We only used the restaurant for a treat dinner one night and it was definitely worth it. Lovely view, great service and friendly staff. Tipped of with a walk round the lake afterwards as the sun set it was a perfect ending to the day.
Kids are only allowed in the swimming pool at certain times as it s part of the spa facilities, but there is a small play area near the parking.
Apartment was well furnished, clean and modern. We were easily able to cook and cater for the family in the open kitchen, diner, lounge and although we d brought some supplies found supermarkets just 5 minutes gown the road - always good for the things you ve forgotten. Along with chain restaurants suitable for children.
View from the balcony was pretty even though we didn t have a lake view and the atmosphere was very relaxing throughout our stay.
Easy to find and park at, with apartments having spaces directly outside their blocks saving you lugging bags from the main hotel parking.

Nice welcome and good rooms. The location is right in the waterpark so nature all around. The only negative I would have is that the cooked breakfast seemed just a bit too greasy but the ingredients were good. There are plenty of other choices though!

Came here with my husband for his 40th through Secret Escapes. Rosie at reception was so friendly and helpful. She gave us a complimentary room upgrade to a studio apartment with spectacular views from the bed and the balcony, which made my husband's birthday extra special! Absolutely picturesque! I would love to come here again for sure!

The food at the Brasserie was okish, think they could improve and have a bit more on the variety of items. Loved the pecan pie and chocolate torte. Great flavours. They definitely need to add cocktails and mocktails to the drinks menu.

We tried lunch at the Boathouse, the dishes were great quality, but definitely need more improvement on the cocktails list!

I get the feeling none of the hotel rooms or apartments have AC.. even with the fan on, it could get a little too hot!

The only downside was afternoon tea. We waited nearly an hour specifying no pork. About 40 mins later, we get served with ham sandwiches, which were taken back. Then I think we must have waited for another 20 minutes only to get a few sandwiches slapped with either cheese or cucumber. It was obvious no effort was made, yet it took so long. I picked up one sandwich, felt the bread with my fingers and put it straight down. Clearly the bread was old and stale. Reception was kind enough to get the whole thing cancelled for us. Afternoon tea is a no-no here, but of there is always a chance to give for improvement.
