The Coterie Theatre produces exceptional performances, each and every show is so much more than you might expect for a Youth Theatre. Don't let that fool you into thinking its going to be anything less than top notch!

We had a great experience at The Coterie. We saw Elephant and Piggie's "We Are In A Play." It far exceeded our expectations. They held the attention of the audience which was full of young kids on up to older adults. The acting was top notch. I love how small the theater is- there's not a bad seat in the house. We're so glad to support this little theater. We can't wait to come to another show.

We saw Charlie Brown Christmas today. It was a great show! The run time was perfect for children with shorter attention spans, there are no bad seats and the shows are family friendly. Well done set and acting as well.

This a fantastic little theater. Very kid and family oriented. My daughter has loved everything we've seen here. Located in Crown Center it is easy to make the Coterie a whole day experience. They do various productions, some original as well. Tickets are typically reasonable.

I took my class here on a field trip to see Tuck Everlasting. They were mesmerized by the acting and the setup of the theatre - the actors perform throughout the audience space, in addition to the stage!

Clean, comfortable, prompt and professional. I mean, the line to get in went fast. My Wife wasn't with us and they were understanding. They let her come in without a ticket, trusting her to come back with one, which made things easy. The kids all get to sit up near the stage, and the staff are attentive regarding child spacing and safety (although some parents definitely check out!). The age range was big and the kids loved it. The actors were high quality and energy. The costuming was creative and immersive. The stage crew was invisible, which is about as high a compliment as they get (previous stage crew member speaking). I really liked the chemistry of the lead actors playing Piggy and Gerald, they seemed to really like and appreciate ea h other which obviously helps their portrayal. The squirrels were great and might have stolen the show if the leads weren't so strong. Anyway, bring your kid here it's a lot of fun, and an excellent place to start their appreciation of theater.

This is the best theatre for young audiences. I love the floor seating. We have made many memories here. When the shows are sold out, I try to get in on standby seating. They are very nice about it. I love coming here. We have been four times.

I have been to many, many shows here in my youth. As a fresh-faced adult, I will definitely be going back at some point with my younger sister. They gave me a free book one time, which was what the show was based on. I read that book many times.

We've been to four shows here and were amazed every time. My husband went to acting school and is also impressed at how well they do. The acting, the stage, the production, everything is top notch. We just saw Rudolph for example. I'm 48 years old, I've probably watched Rudolph 120 times and have it memorized verbatim. Everyone was spot on with the script and voices. Not only that but they somehow figured out how to portray a TV show on stage. I can say the same for Charlie Brown last year. Very very impressive performances.

Fantastic, intimate theatre. Recently saw "Becoming Martin" and not only was this a very good play about an important era in Martin Luther King, Jr.'s life, but the setting in this particular theatre made it feel as if you were in the room. After the production the actors returned to the stage to take questions from the audience; making this an accommodating space for learning about the play, the art of acting, and all manner of things theatre, as the actors responded directly to a myriad of questions.
