Awesome museum, very large, with lots of information you can learn in interactive ways. Great for kids and grown ups!
Awesome museum, very large, with lots of information you can learn in interactive ways. Great for kids and grown ups!
Very pleasant and diverse space. We have also gone to the Planetarium and this has been disappointing, we have seen the Deep Sky projection and we expected something else. And forest flooded one pass! l
A very nice museum where you can discover and experience yourself. Suitable for children of all ages. Three parts: origin of life, science, and nature.
Excellent for all types of people, alone, as a couple, with the family, adults and young people, a pleasant time is spent, in addition to learning a lot, there is variety and a spectacular store where you can cure yourself and get many interesting things, they should improve a bit the Planetarium film, 180 degrees screen, very interesting thematic but a bit boring and is not dynamic in understanding, should project something that is aimed at all public and level, to make a full experience for all, La Caixa customers will get a discount and sometimes the general admission is free, for the rest, I recommend it.
Hi, I notice lately that the reception people are no longer so kind, nor smile, nor are they empathetic, you have to improve. With the current situation we live in COVID-19, it s not worth going there especially if you go with kids, because they don t let you touch anything it s very sad. Then the animals give me pity these heights I think they would not have to be held in captivity ..... and now not, but the touch-touch in which they could take starfish and get them out of the water is cruel, very cruel
Great place for children and adults !! Managed by a bank and cheap. This place is related to science. There is a huge garden representing a jungle.
If you like science you can learn a lot in this place, the measures for the coronavirus are very good.
Very interesting everything, it is necessary to go twice minimum to be able to appreciate everything.
Four stars because it is not worth paying to see the planetarium, it should cost less than 5e, because at least the one we saw, sephore, made us sleep literally. But in general the cosmo caixa spectacular.
Great place where we easily lost 4 hours. A bunch of interesting exhibits and experiments. I recommend to everyone.
We are delighted, many activities to do in family, educational and paying very cheap prices.
Very nicely done, entry is very deep for what is offered. Pretty loud,
Great for the little ones to investigate. There are some ideal activities for small scientists.
Very interesting place full of scientific explanations, animals, rocks, fossils, etc. The flooded forest, imitating a part of the Amazon, is spectacular and the children love it!
Super family outing ... very affordable 2 the entry .... a superb moment
The totally recommended experience very interesting and fun
Great place to hang out and get to know interesting exhibitions as a family.
Descriptions also in English. Under 16 free admission. Adults 4 . Overall worthwhile. Extra things like Toca, Toca, Planetarium and the CreationLab have to be planned separately (partly paid)
Very cool! A very different and economic visit! Interesting exhibitions. Visit from 1h30-3h ... Recommended
Great to spend family day! And free if you are a customer of the caixa
Ideal to spend a day with the kids in the house, with a partner, with friends, even alone. Everything is very well organized. Many square meters of rooms full of very interesting exhibitions. In addition, it is very economical, and if you are from CaixaBank, you do not pay and you have 5 invitations. And the kids don't pay!
A good place to spend a morning ..
Also, if you are from la caixa, it's free ... more you get 3 or 4 more ...
It's a pity that the last one is the most beautiful in the works ... but it was already there and if you can visit everything, it's worth it
It is one of the most complete and didactic museums in the state. A privileged space for science. Currently, CosmoCaixa offers more than 30,000 square meters of facilities dedicated to scientific dissemination. The Science Museum of Barcelona, opened in 1981, was the first interactive museum in Spain. Very interesting exhibitions and permanent planetarium.
Very educational museum. This is a must if you have kids and want to spend quality time with them
Highly recommended, especially for going with children! They will have a great time. Maybe the spaces are not well signposted as needed.
This is one of my absolute favourite science museums. It's fantastic for kids aged 5+. Cheap entry but you will need to buy "tickets" to see certain shows /events which I recommend you do when buying your entrance ticket.
5 different floors and areas with a variation of different activities and areas. The flooded rainforest is absolutely beautiful and worth spending time at.
Make sure that you know what exhibitions are on. The information available is there in both English, Spanish and Catalan but it would be good to have more maps available for what is located where.
Shop is good value and nice.
Easily accessible floors for wheelchairs and prams. All toilets are very clean and there is baby changing facilities available everywhere.
It's a little bit out of the way but definitely worth a visit!
Much to experiment and learn by playing. I love it!!
We have been to La Nit dels Museus, it has been great! For young and old, there is always something new to learn.
Because it is special I have never gone to muceos and on my birthday my son took me to Barcelona and took me to Barcelona. Cosmo caixa and I liked everything I saw there is a history of animals, plants, fish, stones and much more, but everything explained easily, well documented, was a good gift.
A fabulous space. Full of realities, ideal for children and not so children. He has wrapped me up
Best entertainment in a museum.
The aquariums and the forsest in the back will impress.
Definetly will come again.
Beautiful and instructive science museum. Very suitable for children but also engaging for adults. Do not miss the tropical forest.
It is the perfect place to spend the day and learn a little.
It is quite large and with many rooms for the realization of the different activities it offers.
Throughout the establishment there are different interactive "experiments" that test different theories of famous scientists.
It also has a large aquarium with turtles, alligators and many species of fish.
Apart from animals and experiments, there are also activities, which are paid separately, very cool from a 3D cinema to touching animals.
The prices are very reasonable and if you are a member of La Caixa you have discounts.
We will definitely be back soon.
Incredible place! It is fascinating and the forest flooded one pass :)
It is a highly recommended place to go, both small and large. You learn many very interesting things and with constant improvements and changes of facilities.
It is perfect to go with children. The whole family really liked it. It was a national holiday and we went early. First thing in the morning there was almost no line. Then a lot. It is worth getting up early. The restaurant has a long wait time on days like this. Better to bring your own food and have a picnic on the way out.
It is a good place to have a good time, entertained even by children. With the super3 card you have a free adult ticket.
Amazing place and people treat visitors very well. Ideal to go with family or alone. You can stay hours inside.
A nice place, but my girlfriend was sad because she didn't saw the capibara which was asleep.
A great experience to perform as a family and bring science to the little ones. Admission is also free for children under 16 and / or customers of La Caixa. The only drawback is a little difficult to access by public transport and the little free parking around the area.
I have been visiting it for years and will continue to do so, it is nice to see some banks living in culture for everyone
Very nice. I went there with my brother and grandmother .. two unforgettable times.
Very interesting interactive museum! I recommend both children and adults.
A 10 for Maria, who managed to keep the experience from deteriorating despite Covid's measurements. With high doses of patience, he answered all our questions.
We really liked the planetarium movie and the bosc inundat, we will be back for sure!
Visit very entertaining and fun for both adults and children, very educational!
This was the biggest surprise of Barcelona visit. Everything inside is just fantastic. Whole family enjoyed it and we were inside for 6 hours and could be for 6 more. Kids loved it even more than I did. Amazon aquarium beats everything.
Amazing museum. Adapted for kids but really good for adults. Hands on area. Microenvironment area (dampened forest walk is amazing).
Scientific museum very well structured and diversified where science is found history and nature
An ideal place to go with children and if you are from La Caixa, enter free.
I would give it 5 stars for the design and the scientific experiences. Unfortunately, even though there was almost no one else on the day we went, because of the covid restrictions, we couldn't 'play' with most of the experiments. Maybe people could wear gloves to be able to activate the displays, buttons, etc... Anyway, that was a little disappointing for a science museum.
Very fun and diverse, excellent for a family outing with children of all ages.
The site is ideal to spend the day learning and having fun. Interactive, interesting and very well organized content. What is lousy is the forest / aquarium with all those animals locked up. That is a shame.
CosmoCaixa is a fascinating site for both adults and children.
We have visited it through an excursion comprising children from 3 years to preteens of 12.
The activities, or rather, workshops that we have carried out have motivated our students very much, they have learned a lot and they have had a lot of fun.
The fact that there are so many things to see makes the hours go by extremely fast.
A very affordable price or even free for many. Many exhibitions and very interesting, the explanations that appear are very good, they are understandable and concise. The activities are very cheap as well and they are quite good. Has a bar / restaurant inside. You can also bring home food and lunch to the gardens which is a very nice space.
Ideal place to visit for any type of
age you have to revisit, it's never enough
Perfect to go with small children ... And not so small too!
A lovely museum, since I have been visiting it for 12 years ...
Very good pet choice to spend several hours. More so to visit with children of all ages and young people. They do conferences, temporary exhibitions and an annual research fair that is very well. The flooded Forest hits the first time you see it. It is always better to avoid holidays. There are locks for storing things. The store is fine, they have many things of science. The pendulum is another classic to see. And the ideal experiments for schools or students. You can get there and leave by bus.
Very interesting museum and a real revelation for children. The building is very large, with several floors that allow children to explore various topics. They also have interesting workshops but we did not know that you had to buy a special ticket at the entrance.
They have an open buffet restaurant, with a price of around 14 and you eat quite well.
A huge outdoor space that makes it easy for kids to have fun on sunny days.
I have been to CosmoCaixa many times but it always surprises me in one way or another for the better. It is a highly recommended visit if you are in the city. Also, if you are a La Caixa customer, admission is free.
On this occasion, with the issue of the coronavirus, everything is very controlled. The Univers room now has a route that is only one way (you enter from one side and exit from the other). Many of the attractions are automated, and in others, there is an employee who shows it to you and explains a little about what the machine does. It really is a very good solution to this situation. An in-person explanation is also easier to understand.
Then, the part of the flooded forest also goes in the opposite direction, you enter through the "open air" area and end with the "underground". It is very well organized, really.
It is the science museum of Barcelona. Temporary exhibitions and very pedagogical workshops for adults and children. Also highlight the flooded forest. Is it worth it.
Very well organized, now difficult with the rates that are there to access
Great musuem for kids. Interactive. Good place for a rainy day.
A great experience. The aquarium/terrarium part with different animals is especially intresting.
This museum used to be my favorite. So interesting and fun. But this last time I visited, most of the experiments / expo showcases were broken. There are a lot of unsupervised kids destroying everything they touch. So the environment was not very pleasant.
At least the tropical woods area is well preserved and you can still see rare kind of fish species and kapibaras :)
There is also a mesmerizing bug collection!
The distribution is very good so you can start and finish a "subject" and fully understand it before jumping to another subject.
For "la Caixa" users, it's free entrance + invitation! So good...
An ideal place to spend a morning or an afternoon with children and not so children, different activities and an animal to see and touch
We really enjoyed the visit, but due to Covid many of the facilities were limited. Anyway it is a great place to go with friends or family.
There s always something you didn t know. The COVID version with the monitors explaining is pretty good. Playing is important..and better .... but listening to the monitor helps to understand something more.
Amazing place for children and adults alike! Prefer it to the Science Museum in London. More interactive and loads to see
Good museum. He explains physics and history quite simply. Attention, no French
A very nice place to visit. I liked it more when it was the Science Museum. There were interesting experiments. But it s a beautiful place anyway.
A trip through the galaxy, the earth, the dinosaurs .... This museum is to be ALL one day. It can be enjoyed by adults and children alike. The 3D planetarium is with specific hours, so you should check before attending.

Great to go with friends, but above all great to introduce children to the world of science. The only downside is that some exhibitions do not open at all hours and you have to take a good look on the web before going. It's okay to spend the day.
