Awesome science museum we enjoyed it a lot and the children even more !!! Highly recommended
To spend an entertaining day with lads, alone or in the family. A fun way to learn.
A huge, multi-story, science museum. There's not much hands-on stuff, unless you pay extra, but the exhibits are very good. The rain forest exhibit was very impressive.
Located on the top of a hill, it's a bit of a hike from the metro, but worth it!
The museum is fantastic for children and not so children. Everything can be manipulated without fear of breaking or spoiling anything.
The rooms are perfectly equipped with all kinds of examples with the explanation on the side so that the child and adults can understand what they are seeing.
Outside there is a large patio where you can go out for a snack or have a coffee.
My two year old loved this!! As a LaCaixa banker I was able to enter for free which made it even sweeter. It's not the biggest museum. But there is quite a bit of hands on activities to do. I can see it growing with my son as he as able to experience and understand more. He loved the fish and the robots. it is also nice that he can run and be loud with out disturbing anyone.
Super fun, in addition to the Carnet Jove always have very good offers!
A fantastic museum to keep learning while we play. Science, nature and fun. Without a doubt, an excellent option to take children.
Very interesting but there should be more things for adults
Fantastic place, too bad that for covid19 you can't interact with the various simulations that the museum offers you
I love it. I go whenever I can, to the projections, to the new exhibitions, to the flooded forest. I go back to being a girl every time I go
To spend the day is fantastic, it is the second time we go, I have a child of 2 and another of 5 the two were super entertaining, calm that they can touch anything and have that concern. The bar is fantastic, affordable price and good quality. You also have microwaves at your disposal. Fantastic
Spectacular. Ideal for children and not so children.
Highly recommended place to visit. Also, if a member of the Caixa cards.
You can access free. And the other activities to 50%.
Ideal !!
Disappointing ... we would have to do a very well done poll on the way out. There are some interesting things but there is a lack of cohesion, story. It is a poti ...
Very nice to be at least 5 hours and so much to see
I love it! You can spend here all day. There are mirrors room, a lot of scientific experiments, that you can touch and play with. There are also fishes, birds, etc. Great place for children and adults.
Good place to spend the day. With children or without them. The last time we went we were setting up the new permanent exhibition ...
So we loved it, it was an exciting visit ... the museum is extended on several levels and a great diversity of theme ... we spent 4 hours there without being able to see everything ... with three children including one in toddler in clutter ... very spacious ... I only think about going back since our visit ...
Very interesting to visit with children. They offer permanent exhibitions, temporary and various activities.
Very good, I have been visiting since it was opened, it was as a teenager, I took my children and nephews. At least I go twice a year and each visit continues to surprise me. recommended it
The truth is very good, I will go again, although I was disappointed to find the toilets closed on all floors ...
If you want to spend an entertaining time you can visit it, I recommend going early because of the parking and queues to enter. If you are a client of la Caixa you enter for free and you do not need to queue, unless you want to see a specific exhibition that is worth money, I am talking from 2 to 4 at most.
I must say that I expected better, many areas were closed or not accessible by normal users but only by schools. Among other things we were not notified when we made the ticket. Of the 5 visited plans, only one accessible. That said, what we have seen is truly spectacular.
Amazing replica of the Amazon forest. It has areas of science with experiences and good information. On the other hand it also has parts about nature. It's the Sunday afternoon perfect plan specially to kids.
A Perfect space to learn and learn about our world and science
Interesting museum dedicated to science. Highly recommended the visit with children
A very interesting and fun place for kids and not so little ones.
Science ... history ... future ... in a brilliant summary for children and adults
Very cool place to go with children. They have a great time learning science. Access by car is easy, there is a parking lot just below (yes, I paid 20), and there is a restaurant with very cheap prices where you can eat a buffet ( 14 adults / 9 children) Or you can eat something in the cafeteria. There is also a picnic option. Entrance to the museum is fine, but I recommend doing some extra activity.
Best option of Barcelona to get out of the routine on a Sunday. We always go and enjoy. Recommended for children.
Very worthwhile place
The pictures and texts explain the formation of the universe, the changes of the earth, the development of life, and a lot of biophysical knowledge. Very interesting and vivid.
Although the ecological pavilion inside is small, it gives people the feeling of being immersed in it. It is very interesting to go to the place two or three times repeatedly.
The staff is good, enthusiastic and patient
In other times it is fine, but now with the Covid measures I did not like to go with children, I do not know how to press any button, only people "with orange sleeves" as they explain it, closed areas, and a lot of unnecessary inconvenience for me taste.
Ideal to take children, have fun and learn curious things.
A good, little afternoon visit. Entry is free if you're a la Caxia customer and very inexpensive if you're not. Kids will really enjoy this place, many hands-on exhibits. The indoor rainforest was fantastic.
Very nice museum with also very large and well equipped garden (bar, restaurant).
Inside is full of interesting principles made interactive and fun for all ages.
There is also a kind of greenhouse full of tropical plants.
Quite cheap ticket for all the things you see (5 ).
It is full of school groups who do educational outings.
Very recommended .
As a partner in the life of social work, the caixa, Cosmocaixa Caixa is perfect for young and old alike. The space is very interactive and 80% of the gadgets can be played, there are even workshops for the little ones where they can develop their imagination and desire to learn.
Beautiful museum! Interesting, interactive and cheap for what it offers.
I would return more and more times
Very interesting for the little ones. Many scientific activities, animals, ...
One of my favorite places in any city, for adults and children. The entrance is cheap in relation to what you can enjoy. Never doubt that going there will be a good plan, the children enjoy it a lot and if you want a little inspiration and tranquility, going alone and sitting down to watch the aquatic life is very relaxing.
It is a place where you can learn about different topics in a more visual and manipulative way
It is very interesting, you learn many things, ideal to go as a couple, family or for school trips
Learn through brutal visual experiences, workshops where children and adults give free rein to their creativity, recreate historical situations, etc. Essential :)
Simply gorgeous. The exhibits are wonderful. The tropical space is amazing!
To go with the coronavirus season it is not worth it but to go in the normal time that you can experience with everything a great experience
It is perfect to go with family. Ideal for children to discover more than consoles and videogames
It was included in the map of visiting museums, so we went there. Museum of Natural Science. Not particularly impressed. Perhaps this is more interesting for children.
All the same, it s more like a children's museum!
Similar to St. Petersburg "Labyrinth" (by experience and effects)
I was pleased only with the living area and columns with buttons, clicking on which different bird voices sound.
And most of all I liked drinking coffee outside.
Outside the museum, this futuristic space blends very nicely with mountain views and a temple nearby.
It is a very modern and original museum. It is very well located next to the FGC station (Av. Tibidabo) L7.
Amazing place - we couldn't pull the kids away to be honest. There is always something else to look at. We spent about 5 hours here including lunch at the restaurant. The Toca Toca activity was great for both kids and adults and is available in different languages including English. Entrance for 2 adults and 3 kids including the Toca Toca activity was Euro 28 - total. Probably the best experience and best value for money activity we did in Barcelona. The only hitch was getting there. Best way to get there is to go by Metro to Av. Tibidabo and it's a short walk from there. We went to Vall d'Hebron and eventually figured out we needed the H4 bus going toward Carrrer D'Isaac Newton. Looking for directions - not everyone was aware of the place even though it's huge. I couldn't recommend it highly enough.
Live experiments. Aquarium. Tropical biome. Terrarium. Talks Very complete. Unmissable to go with school-age children
Very beautifull! Perhaps more for adults than for children
Great museum, full of fun, very broad, up yo date and valuable to keep on visiting. A must in every visit I make to Barcelona.
Great science museum with lots of small animals. The child likes it. The only regret is that the fossil of Tyrannosaurus Rex is gone. The staff said that they moved to Paris.
Cool museam with lots of interesting things for children and adults. 5 eu for entrance, takes about 2-2.5 hours to see everything. Worth to visit!
Economic entry. Museum somewhat outdated and almost all broken. To be a museum of Science, it lacks many things.
To go with children, from very young to adults ... Everyone enjoys a lot. It is very interactive.
Great to take the kids and spend a few hours, it's great, interesting and fun
There is so much to discover in this museum it is better to go for a full day you have to reserve places
Fantastic experience for the kids, but also for us adults. Ticket price ridiculous and children under 16 are free, to be included in city guides!
An interesting museum to discover science for kids ...
Very spacious. Ideal to go with children.
The bad thing is that it does not have free parking.
They have fixed it now
Is much better than before what the Universe is fine and mirrors that is very cool about everything Central have managed only thing that should improve is the flooded forest is being done small .. other activities very chulas like Toca Toca, Click, Planetarium, Etc ...
A good place to visit with the kids.
The cosmocaixa has renewed its facilities a bit and I think for the better.
The installation of the mirrors is very good despite the crowds.
I love it, the children have a great time!
It would be perfect if they did different workshops / activities during the year for free.
The toca toca once seen is no longer a mystery, but it is understood that it is a limited place.
The gift shop has very interesting games.
Fixed visit a few times a year!
It's a great experience, I came 25 years ago and the change has been very positive, it hurts to get the exposure on the universe in works ... otherwise great highly recommended to go as a family
Quite good to go and enjoy with the family. Interesting science exhibit and in the Flooded Forest there are very large species swimming underwater. The visit to the Planetarium was also very cool. You must not miss it!
It's very good. The only but, as it happens in these enclosures, the exorbitant prices in the store.
Perfect plan to go with children, always have workshops and exhibitions very interesting and well organized
Good place to spend a day with children, although it is not indicated for babies.
A lot of people with too young children who don't know anything, just make noise
