One of the most beautiful and unique museums I have ever been to. Elegant artworks made of glass and highly engaging technology exhibition were definitely fun experience for all ages. Glass blowing demo was super entertaining and educational. The gift shop full of colorful and eye catching glassware can easily make it to the top of the most beautiful museum shops. If you are traveling upstate NY, this museum should definitely be in your itinerary. Thumbs up all the way!

I love the museum. I've been 4 times over the passed 10 years. And each time is a new experience and so fun! It's amazing what can be done with glass. Such beautiful art, friendly people. And glad at my last visit to see a lot of the gift shop have pieces from local artists vs china/cheaply made products.

Very happy with my visit to Corning.

Very happy with my visit to Corning.
We took a 5 hour drive from Ohio to visit.
The place is actually not that big but if you admire what s there and read everything, watch the shows, you can easily spend the day there.

Parking was free which is a plus.
The glass art was awe inspiring.
The shows were great and you could feel the heat of the magma used to melt the glass.

Me and my wife loved it. Would we drive there again? No, probably not. We only bought a magnet from the gift shop because the actual glass made by people was way too expensive.

Must see at least once in your life.

This museum is so well laid out. You pick what direction & what type of exhibit you & your party want to do at your own pace.

We enjoyed the "Make your own ornament". We didn't do the real "work" but we were as close as you could possibility get seeing every step how blown glass is made. This allowed us to have 2 "original" Corning Glass pieces. Bonus, the glass blowers were knowledgeable & were truly enjoying their jobs. Smiling the entire time.

The 2 live exhibits were entertaining & worth the time to sit to relax. The gift shop is a bit overwhelming. There is a cafe on the grounds, my husband will share the coffee is good. We went into town just 3 minutes away for dinner.

This is truly a "must visit" place for anyone interested in arts or science. I would suggest one should spend at least 4 hours here and perhaps 6 hours if you really want to absorb the enormous amounts of information available here. Corning has such a rich tradition of scientific discovery, and it is visible in spades when you visit the museum. There are multiple floors that are classified based on broad themes. Kids will also find things very interesting, particularly the hands-on shows where highly talented glass artisans display their incredible skills.

The museum is amazing. I liked the modern glass exhibits. We watched a great show that demonstrated the process of making a vase, it was very interesting. Also, in the museum s store many interesting glass work.
If you will visit the museum, I do not recommend you eating in the museum s buffet, the food there is not tasty and not healthy.

Wonderful display of glass art from ancient times to modern day. Daily glassblowing and in the fall glass pumpkin making. There is an opportunity to purchase a combined ticket for the Corning museum of glass and the Norman Rockwell museum. Tickets are good for 2 consecutive days.

Fantastic museum - the innovative and commercial glass exhibits are really worth the time it takes to see every piece!

The make your own glass is cool, though you don t really get to handle the hot glass yourself. You get a really up close view and a thorough understanding of how the molten glass behaves!
