Core Rifle Systems Review

Excellent custom built rifles offered. Not cheap, but the quality is well worth the price. They offer lifetime warranties on their builds, excellent knowledgeable staff.

Nice shop, they sell firearms, ammo, firearm accessories, optics and more. The staff at core is always so friendly and helpful, you can purchase an AR15 that is already assembled or they can custom build you just about anything you want on an AR15 platform.

I had they amazing team at core build an AR15 platform rifle for myself actually it was a Tac III rifle with a couple of change i asked for, it took two weeks for the build, they can pretty much build you any AR with any parts from any manufacturer as long as the oart is available. When i visited core i was looking for an upgrade over my current AR15 which is a Bushmaster, upon going in i was greeted by friend employees who really want to get you into the AR15 you what, on my build i wanted a weaver quad rail handguard and when i askedbif they could get ine for me the man asked me why i wanted a quad rail and asked what i would be attaching to it, so i thought about it and all i was really going to attach was a foregrip, he showed me a midwest industries MLOK hand rail it felt like pefert in my hand and since i prefer Magpil products it was an easy choice. Its snall things like this that make them a step above the rest. The rifle has functioned flawless thus far and it groups like a dream. I cant thank the team at CORE enough for the amazing service i received!

The first Core15 rifle I owned was around a decade ago, never had any issues and it's been long sold years ago.

Ordered some accessories recently and UPS completely bungled the shipment. It bounced around distribution centers all over the country while claiming that it was ready for pickup at a locker in my town. I drove the 20 min to the locker and the scanner claimed it wasn't in the locker. I've received multiple emails from UPS saying that I need to go to the locker I already went to. Meanwhile the package had arrived back at Core15 saying it was undeliverable. I'm STILL getting emails to this day from UPS that I need to go back to that locker.

Meanwhile Steve at CORE15 had noticed unusual activity with my shipment and made numerous attempt to call me to try to make sure I get my package before I even tried to contact them. When it finally got returned back to them, he started emailing me trying to get this package to me. He listened to the troubles I had with UPS and shipped me the package again at their own expense, which I received promptly this time.

Conclusion: From what I recall my CORE15 rifle was reliable AND they go the extra mile and PROACTIVELY provide excellent customer service. When I need to purchase something in the future, I'll always check their website first from now on (oh yeah. they had the absolute best price on what I was buying).

Always a nice selection and fair pricing. Most notable is the staff, I always feel welcome and none of that usual gun shop ego-machismo crap.
When ya say you wish you had the bucks at the moment to buy something they remain engaged and friendly despite.

I ordered an item 3 weeks ago. I paid full invoiced amount. I have sent several online messages using their online portal, to no avail. I have initiated several phone calls and all I get it they are really busy. Very poor customer service and no follow up. Caveat emptor.

Wow, after all the hype, what a waste of time. Was not greeted at the door. No one acknowledged my existence. I had just sold some gear and had a pocket full of cash. Everything was over priced. Only perk was that they did have a decent selection. Was not worth the stop or the U turn I had to make to get there. I will never be back.

Lacking in quality and shady business practices.

"Match grade" 308 barrel came with large burr on gas port hole. I specified a particular barrel that I wanted installed but they installed whichever one they wanted.
Many of their "match barrels" in the back had surface rust and most were missing caliber stampings.
I suspect that they are selling factory second barrels for match grade prices.
They charged me the wrong price for an item and kept sending me in circles for a whole month saying that they would refund the price difference but never did. I wanted to return the whole thing due to their error in installing the barrel I did not ask for however they wouldn't send me a prepaid label.

You get what you pay for and there is a reason that CORE isn't known for their quality.

My new core rifle jammed after 2 rounds threw it, 3rd live round jammed the bolt in chamber. Called on Sat., got answering machine run around. Spent $125.00 at gun shop to clear weapon, still waiting to hear from CORE

This place makes some awesome rifles! I only wish they had one of the guns I wanted in stock when I came in (drove 2 hours 1 way to check them out) and I would have bought here. I wound up buying a Core rifle from a local shop when they got some in a couple of days later. Nice folks working here and they have a great looking shop.
