Obviously these are challenging times, but the people I generally interact with at this facility including Marie are simply wonderful. Always kind and thoughtful, and as accommodating as circumstances allow. Thanks to all.

It was refreshing to go into a Nursing facility where you see the DON walking the halls checking in on resident s, being sure that her nurses are supported and that she was there to help. The therapy department was absolutely amazing they were all on point working with the residents had them exercising And were motivating. I also saw the house doctor making rounds and visiting talking to the clients and genuinely showing an interest in each individual. Specifically tailoring the needs to the client themselves, and addressing them.

As a nurse of 31 years primarily a professional agency nurse I have seen all types of facilities. During Covid these facilities did the best they could with what they had ,they made sure that their residents were protected to the best of their ability, Unfortunately ,many other facilities were not doing their best. Tragedy befell many of them, the facilities were in disarray, supplies weren t available, the residents were suffering and didn t even understand what Covid was or comprehend why things have changed so much. I must say To be honest many of the facilities I had visited during this time Were very disturbing to my Nursing Ethic this past year really drove home how helpless I felt.Never did I ever feel compelled to leave the nursing field but many a day I went home distraught that I couldn t do more.

This facility Honestly has renewed my faith and my Belief that There are real heroes real healthcare workers people who are in it to truly help the individual ( not profit off tragedy). Again I go back to the DON and administrators who work mostly in offices and rarely seen in most facilities ( unless State is there) Actively walking the floor not once not twice , Multiple times during the day. This is a facility where I would feel comfortable not only Having one of my loved ones there but possibly being there myself as a client/resident.

Thank you all of you For renewing the fire and passion I have for my career as a nurse.

Physical and occupational staff are wonderful. A few of the nurses were good but for the most part very slow to respond. Food was so awful I had to take my dad out early just so he'd eat. I've had him in a few of these places lately and they're all the same I think. Anything to save a buck. Owners don't care about their residents, just padding their wallets.

If I could give less than one star I would. This place is horrible and I never ever say anything bad about anyone ever... However, I am writing this review in hopes that it will save someone else from experiencing what we have. My mom was transferred to this facility from the hospital for short term care and rehab after a broken hip. I had only 2 hours to choose where she would go so I read reviews and chose a place close to my home. The staff was nice and helpful when my mother first arrived but as soon as they had the commitment everything changed. They were very hard to get in contact with and the receptionist transfers you to a neverending circle of voicemails in which your call is never returned. This leads to a feeling of helplessness and frustration. If by chance you get to speak with a person they are rude and seem to be bothered. My mom was there for 3 days and didn't receive physical therapy until the day before I had her transferred to another facility so that they could bill her insurance. She didn't receive pain medication like she was supposed to for a newly broken hip. She was given food that she was unable to eat even after requesting a soft diet. The staff places the call bell and the phone out of the patient's reach. My mother is alert and oriented and told me all of these things about her care. I could go on and on but the point of my review is to save someone else from all of this. Administration really should be aware of what is going on and do better. They never even reached out to me after my Mom was moved to inquire about her care etc... I should have known on the phone because when the "sales team" is explaining the facility they refer to your family member as "the customer"... I had a very limited time to choose a facility but hopefully this will help someone else choose. She is now at a facility where she is getting the care she deserves until she can come back home with me.

I realize there is a pandemic going on however my dad desperately needs a haircut and his teeth cleaned. They shave him and shower him. He is 86 years old and cannot walk anymore. He was walking while he was having physical therapy and then they quit that. I believe if he continued his physical therapy he would be able to walk.
