Generally it was really nice zoo but couldn't help but feel the Bears had been driven insane from a small enclosure. It didn't feel right.

It's always so cozy there. It's a mess, but I'm looking forward to the finishing touches and the pandas come.
It must have been, big sleep day not much we saw the foreheads
Not the same as before, not so many animals, and for example. The bats no longer fly freely
But what's new looks great and you can spend a few hours quickly!
Remember, though, lunch packs and snacks, as these are absolutely crazy prices in there for that kind of thing!
Lots of space for the animals, very clean and exiting zoo, recommended for everybody who visit Copenhagen. Very nice place
Magnificent place, animals kept in a more than good way. Very nice the opportunity to interact with some of them (kangaroos, goats etc.) Incredible also the fact of being able to admire a polar bear and, soon, a panda.
Sweet animals
Too tight cage for pandas
Rained a lot when I was there but still nice experience
A changing zoo, old and concrete enclosures sit next to vast and very modern enclosures.
Lovely space but the polar bear and brown bear displaying signs of stress through repetitive behaviour - intelligent animals should not be in such small enclosures :(
A beautiful place, but a lot of rebuild. It is more profitable to buy an annual card than to pay each time, especially it is important for parents who have children.
It has been a great experience and the kids love it.
A rodeo shop with construction and clutter everywhere. Too expensive for the experience.
Beautiful zoo. Admission is not cheap, but if you come several times a year, an annual card is a good solution.
The garden is cozy and the welfare of the animals is taken extremely seriously. There are also many options for families with children.
Large selection of animals, pandas and polar bears are the highlight
Copenhagen Zoo has a large variety of animals from tiny bush babies to giant elephants. The zoo itself is fairly large and takes a good few hours to see everything if you're taking your time to have a good look in to each of the enclosures.
You're provided with a map that marks where each animal is so you can keep track of what you've seen.
We found the bat enclosure particularly interesting. It's dark but it was a great experience to see hundreds of bats up close.
A definite must see for Copenhagen.
Most animals have got far better facilities but are still locked in.
Very good place to educate kids and have fun with. Its not something you would want to cover in a day since its a lot of walking.
It was so beautifully decorated, however, there was no light on the ladders and the playground.
Unfortunately a disappointment. Many were empty. The price of 52 for two people is a joke.
Lovely, relaxed and the Christmas atmosphere was approaching magical
Love the animals but the zoo is a bit boring to be ho est
A zoo with a very varied range of animals, quite well organized! One minus I don't know exactly who to assign, is the lack of parking! It is not possible to walk 2 hours to find a parking place within a radius of 3 km around. So my advice for those who come here is to use public transport even if it is quite weak in the offers in that area.
Nice zoo. I heard from foreign guests that they thought the conditions were good compared to many other places in the world.
However, I would like to keep them up against the Aalborg Zoo which I like better myself.
Great zoo - amazing animals. I highly recommend. Not great for parking though.
They had locked too many people in. There was not enough distance.
Lack of cleaning of the windows into the animals' facilities one could hardly see them.
Always a good experience, it looked like the Zoo had opened up.
Great zoo to visit with kids. Short walking distances and you get very close to the animals.
It's just so liberating to walk around it all and see how good the beautiful animals are.
Enclosure of the really small brown bear, animal that wandered aimlessly. This poor beast should be free ... However, very nice setting in the city center!
Lovely with a walk around the garden with grandchildren
To night zoo during the culture night. Here you should not count on seeing the animals.
Always a good and exciting experience to visit the Zoo
Compared with the Zoos in other Western European capitals - I expected much more. Felt small and crowded (even on Thursday).
Chaotic with lots of crowds and remodeling everywhere
Ok experience, despite the fact that the animals have cramped conditions
Big zoo with different animals. Part of zoo is under renovation. You can observe hippo there.
You can live you backpacks in deposit for 10 DDK
A very big, beautifful and complete zoo. Very cool for kids
Incredibly poor and unsafe parking conditions
Expensive, dirty and messy in most of the area. Too large areas where no animals can be seen. Disappointed that you could only see a panda at a very long distance. When they were the reason we came. Nothing else can keep up with the parks in Jutland.
Know now that the reason why there is often feature on TV from kbh. Zoo is that it is conveniently located close to !!!
Two stars, only because it is not the fault of the animals.
The staff were not particularly friendly and helpful. Unnatural studied behavior.
Really poor and clumsy.
Too many panes and fences you couldn't see through.
The playground is muddy and swampy.
Outside dining areas not clean. Filled with algae and bird life.
Practice practice practice ....
Really great to see for the money.perfect for families with children
A lovely place for the animals both with two and four legs. But there was no panda this Monday.
Very nice zoo to spend the day ( even half day ) with the family !
Always worth a visit. You can see that there is room for the animals and for. the guests
Amazing place and one of the best thought out zoos in the world. Really close but considerate to the animals.
On a sunny day, when the animals also sense spring, it is a pleasure to stroll around and enjoy the animals.
Just the prices in the restaurants could well be a little cheaper.
One of the must places to visit in copenhagen. A lot of animals to see, also a lot of activities for children, food trucks and many more. I really enjoyed my visit there.
It's just a beautiful zoo. Especially after most of the remodeling is done. I have now had annual cards for a year and a half, and have only just discovered that there is, for example, a small form of cave from which you can see sea lions and penguins underwater.
There are very nice environments for the animals. Especially the newer things, such as the panda cage or the Tasmanian devils. The cages of the little odes and also quite nice.
However, the hippos' water could be cleaner as they are almost impossible to see. So pretty boring
Clean, informative and polite staff healthy looking Animals.
Giraffe, lion, wolf, brown bear ... which animal has to die next in the zoo (due to lack of space, danger of inbreeding or old age)?
Unfortunately we were there without informing ourselves about the circumstances beforehand. Please avoid this zoo!
Nice and big zoo with beautiful and well kept animals
Wonderful to experience improving areas for the animals. But the sad st entrance doesn't have a reduced price for retirees.
Nice zoo, though with some rebuilding still going on which makes accessibility a little difficult. Nice new facility for the polar bear.
Absolutely fantastic environment and the animals look so prosperous
Nice city zoo. If you are in Copenhagen definitely worth a visit. Is bigger than you think.
Remember to visit the pandas, elephants and polar bears
