Nicely decorated during winter. Had a fun time with family and friends. Kids and us loved it. Inside food was good. Full day enjoyment . There are kangaroos, polar bear, panda, lions, lama and many many more.
The price was right with the Copenhagen Card but this zoo is low on my list of good zoos around the world. The animal pens are small and dirty and the zoo is poorly put together. The variety is lacking as well. It was a pleasant stroll but I would not return.
Although place and there are plenty of new things going on in these years.
One of the best zoos I have been. A bit small compared to other ones, but in absolutely in best condition. The prices are high, as always in Copenhagen.
This is an amazing place. I loved the animals especially seeing an polar bear, panda and a kangaroo for the first time. The animals are cleverly and extremely well looked after from the looks of it. Great outing for the family.
Large rebuild in the middle of everything. Will be a fifth when it is finished.
Lots of animals to see but it was a bit quiet and not many other activities going on. Loved the elephants!
Nice zoo with many amazing snatched animals. Should you see captive animals and eat churros you can do this. I also ate a half-meter French hot dog, the giraffe neck was called it. Not recommended.
The parking lot situation is horror. There is no real parking lot for the zoo. There is very little parking space around the zoo as there are many apartments around the zoo. Furthermore, the entry is a bit too expensive if you pay with . The zoo has its own exchange rate.
Very interesting and educational for children and adults
Love the zoo. This time, however, we chose to buy food in the camel by the camels which is definitely not recommended.
We enjoyed this zoo with very beautiful animals, so well maintained, mention good for lions, polar bears, many births apparently in this zoo, there are small lions, giraffes, rhinos, bears and so on ... In preparation, an enclosure which will be reserved for pandas ...
One of the best zoos around. Incredible selection of animals, wonderful visitor-friendly enclosures, and incredibly informative signage.
Great zoo for the kids. The polar bears are amazing.
Meh, the animals are packed like herring in a barrel.
A fantastic zoo that really is up there with the most enjoyable I've been to. The polar bear wasn't there when we visited but it was a cool housing nevertheless. We spent quite a few hours here as we love zoos. Good food and toilet facilities and reasonably easy to navigate as far as zoos go.
We chose today to visit you. But I really feel that I might as well have thrown our money out of the window.
You are insanely expensive in all areas, just in entrance it cost us 695 DKK because we got 15% discount at LO.
Dust and old spider webs in the display windows in the elephant house and by the polar bear you could hardly see anything for algae on the glass / tunnel.
The paths are in such poor condition that you have to take care not to fall in several places and the signage is really bad.
Always worth a trip for children of all ages, big and small.
Great zoo cute new pandas. Lots of food and snack options
Cute and very large zoo. Animals don't have much space to move around, but they are captive. There are several different species and there are many places to stop to drink or eat. Clean bathrooms.
Price I would not know since we went with the CPH card but if you have that and a pleasant stop to do at all ages.
Internationally, this is a pretty bad zoo. Always "repairs" that have been going on for years, and animals that are not there at all, despite claiming something else in their marketing. Do not recommend going here. Expensive too.
Fantastic Zoo . We are visting from England and found it a great day out with so many different breeds of animals. Highly recommended
Nice place .. but could have thought a little more about the parking possibilities ...
There was first a shortage of parking spaces and next it was not as easy to find table-bench seating
Lovely garden in the middle of the city. However, quite expensive with the food.
A really nice zoo that is easy to get around. You feel close to the animals. There aren't really any healthy food options but there are a lot of picnic benches all over so bring a lunch. Always a fun time. Don't miss the petting zoo with the goats.
It was a nice evening zoo. But many dark trails. There is no signage so it was possible to see where it was open in the evening.
It is cozy.
But miss the cleaning of tables and benches, they are disgusting.
Beautiful place, with lots of experiences for both children and adults.
Always neat and clean and there were not too many people. And then it's always nice to come to the zoo.
Half the Zoo was off limits at the time of my visit due to renovations and a new area being built. Otters are adorable though.
This is perhaps one of the most impressive zoological gardens we have seen. The number of animals and more importantly the comfort most seem to be given is very significant. Small ecosystems are created to offer animals varied conditions. The way to access the areas is also very authentic. There is a kids playground where they can play with goats or simply enjoy the exercise.
Wow. This zoo is incredible. The animals are all happy and comfortable - obviously well looked after. There are so many animals. You can walk around a lot of the enclosures too. Great for children, and adults too! We didn't eat there as they didn't have much selection. Definitely something to add to the list of things to do whilst in the city.
It was interesting but when we visited it so was there some problems with water filetrs and we could not see hippos and all water was dark. They wrote that the animals did not mind it but still it was not a nice experience. The are is huge and I would like to suggest they put some more benches around so that people can rest a bit. Otherwise we liked it very much!
An amazing zoo, even on cold days :) might want to wait till they're done renovation for the pandas though
Maybe it was because they were rebuilding, but they might now need a clean-up.
The Copenhagen Zoo has over a number of years renovated and built new facilities for many of the park's animals, and now appears as a modern zoo with fine conditions for most animals.
Ok, but hard to orientate yourself and a feeling that there are more restaurants/kiosks, etc selling things than animals. Also some parking arrangement (free or discount) could be made for people who have to come by car.
Lovely place to visit with the grandchildren. Lots to take care of if you just do not want to see more animals
Lovely place to come with small children. However, their toilets need a lift.
The "wildest" place in the city .. Nice to see and feel the animals are well, despite being in captivity.
Unfortunately, I would not recommend it. The animals, practically, do not look, and it gave me a lot of pity. The polar bears, panda, none of them, appeared.
I took the fine to the parking lot and we do not know why ...
Very nice zoo, it is very well communicated. There is a lot of diversity of animals, the only thing, do not go in the months of January, February, March and early April because it is very cold.
Nice open ZOO. They have many species of animals, in some cases you can walk among some of them - some birds, kangaroos and some domesticated animals.
Pretty pretty only very little space for animals they do not look very happy but very interesting
Lovely garden, lovely animals, good atmosphere but expensive to eat
Wonderful zoo with fantastic play areas for when the kiddos or parents need a break.
Large parts of the zoo are being rebuilt due to visits by the Chinese pandas. Otherwise nice place
The animals are nice, but the amount of people they lock into the corona time hardly so much ... We quickly went again after seeing the political pandas.
Super cozy in the Christmas season. However, it is hard to find around the time, due to the building of Pandabur
The zoo was nicely built. The design and layout have been given much thought. There's a variety of animals in the zoo. The highlight of the zoo, the pandas were a big disappointment. They looked miserable and dirty. The saving grace was the red panda which looked cheeky in their highway in the air. The ponds in enclosures for the polar bear, seals, sea lions and penguins were very dirty. Very murky and green making viewing very difficult. The only bright light was when the zoo keepers when to feed the sea lions and put on an impromptu show. The sea lions were intelligent and cheeky at the same time. The Savannah enclosure was surprisingly on the other side of the road via an underground subway in the zoo. Many animals in the same area but still looked a bit under maintained.
