Really happy with the quality of the Fibre I buy from them. They are on most of the time when other providers battle and the prove bracket is great. They truly do not limit your use in any way. They do not have after hours or weekend support, hence the 4 stars
They were really good. I never had a big issues and support was quick to fix it.
Up to the day I tried to cancel my fiber line. Then support sucked. That took two months to sort out. Meanwhile I'm paying for a line where I don't live anymore.
From all that I have heard and experienced they great a awesome service.
Absolutely horrible experience and service from Cool Ideas.
They proudly advertise on their site that they have month to month contracts but that's a lie.
I signed up for a contract to test the line, cancelled within 7 days, and as a result had to pay more than R2000 to them (including paying for 2 months).
They didn't even RICA me, so for all they know, it wasn't even me who signed up.
I suggest you stay away from companies like this who lie to get your business, then keep charging you extra fees.
Cool Ideas is great! I deal with the majority of local ISPs and this one so far has the lowest latency for international routing and surprosingly some of the best support for home use. Have not used them yet for business.
My experience with Cool Ideas has been great. They have been fast to set me up, have been very reliable with replying and I found the whole experience to be smooth.

Great service and follow up. Had an issue which was resolved in 24 hours and the connection has been super stable. Worth the little bit extra they charge for fiber. Best move I ever made!
The internet speed is good and consistent. However, we moved and have been trying to move our address since 15 March (it's 7 May now). They send us a bill for both addresses now even though we moved away. Calling them is no use since they request that you sort it out by logging a ticket. Logging tickets is clearly not working since it's been two months of logging tickets. We really just want to cancel at this point. But too scared of how long it will take to cancel. I'll recommend them if you are living in your forever home. However, they should definitely look into their policies regarding moving addresses.
Only provider to offer true month to month fibre without any hidden surprises. Also the only provider to offer different payment options, you are not forced into a debit order. I ordered fibre on the Monday (was told that it would take 2-3 weeks) and it was installed two days later. The whole process from start to finish was flawless. I was kept up to date the entire time. Even after installation I was contacted to see if I was satisfied. I highly recommend Cool Ideas. Great product and amazing service.
Took weeks for them to follow up on my order. Awaiting for Metro-Fibre to get back to them. I had to repeatedly ask for update. I've since canceled my order as metro-fibew wanted R26k to run a 116m fibre. When 50m is ment to be free. Cool ideas I've since asked for my refund...now they have gone quite.
