Our family has purchased four automobiles from Cook Motor Company. All four times have been a 5 star experience. Cook Motor Company always has a great selection of cars. They have special financing options that you don't receive from your local banks. Dealing with Cook Motor Company has been a quick and convenient experience for us very time. Great place and amazing help. Sales man name Joshua helped me pick the right truck for me! I was looking at all the wrong ones and he pointed me to a Ram 1500 and knew it was what I was looking for. Go see John at Cooks for a smooth and easy car buying process. Just three months ago I purchased a brand new car from a dealer and the buying process took THREE days. I called Cooks and spoke to John about a car I found online. Within an hour they had me approved! All I had to do was test drive the car and sign the papers. John and Bernie made the approval process a breeze! I already had a car financed in my name but Bernie found the right bank for an approval. They were very personable which is hard to come by at most car lots. If I ever buy another used car I will certainly go to Cooks to see those two guys again!!

My Husband and I had the most amazing experience with Cook Motors, Our salesman Derek Black was awesome!!! We were were only at the dealership for a little over an hour max between test driving the vehicle of our choice and being able to drive off with an amazing deal. Went into the dealership to test drive a car that i liked. Was greeted by saleperson, Dathan Wright, who was very nice. Completed credit application was told that because my credit was not up to par and it being a Saturday evening, he would work on getting me financed. He said that he would call me back on Monday with a decision. Monday came and went and still no call from Dathan. I called his cell phone and left a detailed message with my number to return my call. I waited an additional two days and I finally called the office and spoke Jeanne. She was very nice. She stated that she would find out from him why he did not and would not return my call. He immediately called back whispering in the phone stating that he THOUGHT he told me that we could not do a deal. Liar!!!! I will never go there or refer anyone to Cook!!!

Couldn t be better best service I ve ever had and I ve got family in the business.

We had purchased a 06 F250 from Bill Woods, the mng, back in June. We bought it "as is.". We ran into a few machinical problems not long after we bought it. My girlfriend called and talked to Mr. Woods and understanding the series of unfortunate events the dealership reimbursed us for some of the repairs. Which was a life saver!!! Honest, good people that care about their customers and good name. Thank you Bill for your understanding and goodwill.

Great buying experience! We went to six other dealerships and chose to work with Cook because of Chip. We got a really fair deal both on our trade in and on our purchase. Cook has the best truck inventory in the Lowcountry. Every automobile in their inventory was clean and something you want to drive; really high quality inventory. And the people make the place! Great staff, smooth and transparent deal. They didn't try to upsell us and knew exactly what features we were looking for. We will go back to Cook in the future and always refer them!

We put 500 down on a Honda Civic 2012 when we go pick up the car they(cook) said the bank wouldn't finance that car for us and they picked one out for us 2012 Ford Focus titanium after numerous problems we decided we need another car. It hasnt been a year yet and this is the 4th trip to Ford for fixing some bullshyt that isn't covered under our "premium warranty" or the part that isnt covered caused the damage to warranty parts and they will not honor anything; plus the bank said the loan application for the honda was never submitted. They are frauds and only out for money, the bank and the insurance company agree we going to court!

I never leave reviews but found this dealer online and found the truck of my dreams. I was assisted by Dathan and purchased a Ford F-150 with the lift and tires that I wanted. I feel as if their price was unmatched after searching the internet and dealing with several other dealers. These folks are very easy to deal with and Robert in finance got me a better interest rate than my own bank. Thank you Cook's for a great, easy, fast transaction.

Shawn was amazing at helping me get what I needed out of a car. Cook Motors made my life so much better considering what I was already going through to the point that I needed a car without a car payment. I found the perfect car that I absolutely love. I would recommend them to anyone and certainly would recommend Shawn for all the effort he did to make this car buying experience worth every penny. No pushing, easy and listened every detail in what I was looking for and what I could afford.

Called yesterday to discuss about a car and was transferred to the sales person and whoever that man was, he was completely rude to me. I asked about a specific vehicle and how lt runs because their was a lot of bad reviews on it. He told me none of our cars are in bad condition when it clearly was on the reviews based off previous owners. So he lied. Told him I did a application last week, he was giving me different names asked for my call back number then hanged up. One of my family friends bought a car here a while back, but didn t say the people were rude here. Don t know if he was having a bad day or what. Glad I didn t went here .

Please go to cook motors and ask for Derek he made the sale happen!!! I would also like to mention how Derek handled himself as a easy going respectful salesman. He did not try to push me into buying, he answered all of my questions with out handing me any bull !!!! During paper signing I asked Derek if they could wash the car before I left. Mind you we live an hour away and I had to pick kids up from school. He and the cook motor team jumped right in and had the car washed and ready to leave on time!!! They will talk you into an over priced extended warranty that you don t need and that does not actually help when you have repairs done.

Tom is a excellent salesman.. felt like I gitta good deal .. not like I got robbed like some dealerships..

Requested if a vehicle had any blemishes inside or out before I made the 4.5 hour drive to see it. I was told it did not and once I made the 4.5 hour drive it had some decent body damage that would take several thousands to fix correctly. Typical used car lot trying to play games.

Chip and the entire team at Cook Motor are wonderful! This is my second vehicle purchase and both experiences have been so easy. No too many sales places will let you drive a car off the lot prior to them getting a payment in full. I have an out of state bank and it was so easy to work with Chip and the sales team. They have a good selection of vehicles but not that many places that will finance you with a good interest rate. Its usually in-house financing with high interest.

I bought a 2005 Ford F-250 in May to haul my camper did an oil change the oil was filthy and changed allwall the filters there was 3 inches of sand in my oil filter and the fuel filters we're full of sludge not to mention a leak in me coolant hose on top of all this there was 6 lug nuts missing off my tires that's unexceptionable

Cook Motor Company was a great dealership to work with. I conducted most of the paperwork online and with a quick response from Chip Rhodus sales associate. I live in Columbia SC and the dealership is in Ladson SC so online saved me a bunch of time. When I arrived there , I test drove the car of interest and drove home with for my Birthday. The best present ever. The dealership is the best I dealt with in a long time. The paperwork went smooth and I drove off happy.

My girlfriend bought a jeep from here a little over a month ago. Well a week ago her vehicle broke down due to 3 open recalls on the jeep. Now i understand these things as i am in the car business myself. But the head unit quit working properly aswell. Also the vehicle says its 2k miles over due for an oil change. Now i get it they may have not reset the oil warning and may have done the oil change and things. But today i called to ask about the oil and express the breaking down of the jeep to a Mr. Gary Roberts or gary coleman... and he told me if she has a problem for her to call him as if someone cant call on her behalf then hung up the phone on me. I was not rude nor did i have an attitude. I would never send anyone to this place to purchase a vehicle after this experience. They wouldnt even put matching tires on the vehicle for her. I will be in touch with Mr. Bill Woods

worst place ever to buy a car from. after all the finance charges and whatever else they decide to add in, and to buy a vehicle that ends up in the shop more then you are able to drive it is not worth it. place is a complete rip off. call with an issue and be told you will receive a call back and your still waiting for the call back.. i will never be back. only way I can get this to post is to add a star and they DO NOT deserve it at all. NO STAR
