The staff inside are very helpful and welcoming to all of their guests. They will gladly share their local knowledge and insight on any area of interest. Just go on in and visit them. Wonderful people with tons of information.

Everything you need to know about the Golden Isles is here. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. You can pick the local guide, bike maps and ask questions. They even have a little artwork along with some souvenirs that can be purchased.

Always a gracious welcome and help with all inquiries about this beautiful place.

When we entered, we were welcomed by a beautifully designed interior and a well-informed and pleasant attendant. There is plenty of literature about St Simons and the Golden Isles.

We did ! Don't for get to check out the River Scout Overhead and Aquanaut on the second floor. You can really describe the exhibits- check out just a few of the pictures. We saw the penguin stroll and the dolphin show. Times are listed in several places around the aquarium. We spent a good four hours checking out the exhibits. There are additional experiences and encounters you can buy. Check their site for those and the prices. There is cafe available if you get hungry. Great aquarium, but maybe wait until the shark experience is done and it will be even more exceptional.

Hands down THE most upswing vibrant welcome centre ive ever walked into. Travelled the world. This was fresh air. Whom is funding APPLAUD!!!

A beautiful space with a great and helpful staff. They practice social distancing which is great! Lots of amazing artwork to see and a great souvenir area. Get all the maps and local information you need.

This is the hardest place to navigate and find what you are looking that I have ever been to. Google maps can't even help half the time.

The woman at the front desk was really nice and generous. I loved the stuff turtles with hoodies.

Only one worker and she only talked to one family she didnt even talk to us till we started walking out of the building . She didnt even acknowledged us

Very nice staff. Good selection of postcards, etc. and you can buy stamps from them. A convenient mail box outside is perfect for dropping off those newly purchased postcards.

Yes you must stop here for real Southern hospitality and warm welcome.

The gentleman at the welcome center was helpful in assisting us with planning our stay at St Simons Island. He recommended on our first day taking a trolley tour and visiting the lighthouse.

So welcoming and pleasant staff, I miss coastal hospitality, something other places have lost.

Was here to see the sunset view from the light house. It's a breath taking view with cargo ship passing nearby. The place and food are amazing as fresh. If you love to see amazing sunset this place worth all the time.

The gentleman there was wonderful! He printed up a really great monthly tide chart for us and put it in a plastic sleeve! He gave us many great ideas and info on the happenings of St. Simon's Island. Very nice informational place for travelers!

The gentleman was very knowledgeable and patient with my mother and Aunt. He offered a lot of history of the area and suggestions for tours. Definitely a must stop for anyone not familiar with the area.
