This remains one of the nicest museums in the surrounding area. Very interactive, with shows and changing exhibitions. It is especially nice to stay here for children and youth. There is also an outdoor section with scientific experiments. There is a laboratory where things can be put together (for a small cost).

We went to the lego expo. Great fun for the kids, lots of interactive entertainment. And of course build a lot with the favorite blocks.
We had a cup of coffee with biscuits. Tasty and not too expensive. The parking lot is a bit hidden behind the building, but the men in the orange vests neatly showed us the way.
Many nostalgic feelings with all Lego.

Cube design museum in Kerkrade visited. In addition, I was surprised and surprised at what there is to see. Examples of 'thinking outside the box'! Nice how people / designers can come up with innovative ideas.

Because with this exhibition the designers bring the rich, complex processes of nature into focus. And there are many more than you can see. Both on a small and on a large scale.

Add to that new research and innovative data flows and voila, then handles and tools are created to better understand the wonders of nature and to have (again) more respect for its systems.

Already visited more than 30 times with our neighbor children and they continue to love it! One day is in any case short, so it remains fun even after returning a few times. Also due to changing exhibitions and the fun "Science Labs", where they learn to tinker with the best topics they can take home. Recommended!

Lots of potential, but the explanations in English are very minimal.
Also several exhibits were out of order.

The changing exhibit (currently CSI) contained no English explanations at all. Also the Dutch texts were not clear enough.

It's hard to find a place that is interesting for 5-8 years old. Here they seem to have found the sweet spot. I could walk around my 5, 7 and 8 years old taking turns while the other were busy with a puzzle or lego building. CSI was also very well suited for multiple ages. A discovery in every sense of the word!

Great museum where you can spend all day doing experiments, shows and activities in the field of science. Very nice, well organized and the Saturday we were there it was very quiet. Number of visitors is limited due to corona. We've been there for six hours without seeing the movies. Definitely recommended that can easily compete with the Amsterdam brother Nemo.

We had a lot of fun. There are so many parts that stimulate your senses. The DIY department is also a must. In addition, as a child you learn a lot about various topics. The exhibition about Limburg and coal mining from the past was also very interesting. The people are super friendly and would like to answer your questions.

All kinds of Lego. Duplo, large bricks, Lego, technical Lego surrounded by nice decor. Also all kinds of games of making music, programming and assignments from Lego. It's big there. We started with Lego. Played there a lot. So we haven't seen the rest yet. That also turns out to be good.

A very nice museum for young and old. There is a lot to do, sometimes with a small additional payment (but definitely worth the money!). We (2 boys aged 8 and 10) spent a whole day in the museum and are not ready yet. We will have to come back once to watch and do the rest. If you are in the area, then this is highly recommended, especially with children!

Nice museum! Especially for children who want to be constantly busy, and you also learn something! Brasserie is just a bit awkward. It would have been easier if you could get something to eat in the middle of the museum!

Was OK, but more for children

Was OK, but more for children
If you also want to see the cube and Columbus, you have to dig deep in the pouch
That's a pity

A varied and child-friendly exhibition in which the kids are sent on a scavenger hunt using a questionnaire so that they can playfully deal with the exhibition.
In the basement there is the possibility to do scientific handicrafts on various topics under friendly supervision. The kids at the children's birthday party thought it was great and they could take their results home with them. The topics are different depending on the age group, so that a sense of achievement is inevitable.

The former Industrion was an interesting engineering museum. But what this museum has to mean is a mystery to me. Worthless full of screaming children. An absolute must-have for people who are interested in technology and science.

A great interactive museum with the focus on scientific knowledge and plenty of opportunities to model scientific experiments for fun. A bit small though. At the time we were visiting it, offered a marvelous exhibition, where you could play along as a scientist/investigator trying to learn more about the dead body of a person found in the Alps a few years ago. You can learn a lot about life in the Alps a few centuries ago

A nice place to go. Do count a whole day, otherwise you would not have seen or done half. CSI part was nice, but one of our party was not against the (fake) mummified Otzi and was nauseous.
Very diverse museum, with coal, csi, the body and also Lego art (monalisa). Csi workshop was also fun. Certainly also fun for adult NCIS / CSI fans

Almost 100% interactive, not only for children, but also for parents and adults. Step into the time travel machine and go back in time. Control and defeat robots, build a residential area, lay pipes, do keyhole surgery, get on a rocket and take off, see if you are a suitable astronaut! And much more. Really a top museum with a nice brasserie. Definitely 5 stars!

We were at 23/12 for good 6h in Continium and our 4.5 year Scion it very much. The children (and parents) can do a lot to try and build their small inventions together in age-appropriate Labs here. Everyday topics are explained for children. Although our Junior does not understand Dutch, he found the science show great. Of us there is a recommendation in any case and we will definitely go back again.
