Conti's Pastry Shop and Restaurant Review

Went for a second. Everything looked delicious, but staff seemed very busy, even though only 3 other customers there. Couldn't wait too long so left before able to make my order.

Very nice bakery. Staff is very nice and the coffee and pastries are awesome!!!!

I always order my cakes from Conti's because they're baked on the premises and taste good

I was recommended this place by an old employer who I'm still friends with. It's a lovely place and I really enjoy it. A few things here and there I don't like with the pastries, but that's just personal preference. All in all I will be coming back in the future.

This pastry shoppe is beyond amazing!!! I was referred to them by a friend and now they do all my cakes for special occasions. I make the drive from queens every single time. They never disappoint and I m always wowed with whatever product I get. Keep up the amazing work!!

The cakes are good buy unfortunately the customer service is poor they choose which customer needs to take a number or which not I was waiting three people was in front of me no numbers was called when was my turn suddenly they started calling numbers everyone was confused. I left the store without buying anything. I'll never go back I felt disrespectful and embarrassed.

can't really say or I can say is that it's a bit pricey and it's not Italian or it's not Italian own just the name artuso's is way better at this point then they are artuso's is located at 187th Street off Belmont you should really try that pastry is out of this world and they're very reasonable. however if you really want authentic pastry then go to Brooklyn because you can go to monteleone's on Court Street or Court Street pastry those are the last of the best pastry shops that still exist you will not be disappointed.

Thank you so much for catering my mother s cake. The manager had recommended me the Boston cream fillings with strawberry and finger lady s as a crust, and we re normally not a fan of Boston cream but this cake was absolutely excellent! I loved the generosity of the staff, I love the way the manager put her input and the design of the cake. Thank you guys so much for putting in so much beautiful details for my mother s cake. Everyone loved the cake. I will definitely be coming here again for future cakes and treats! Keep up the good work.

Great place to get a cake for any occasion. All is fresh and the customer attention is exceptional.

So disappointed in the lack of service. Ordered a cake from here. Even with detailed instructions and a piece of paper with correct spelling of name and other details, these people still managed to get it wrong. But wait... I was not the only one. Three before me had the same experience. You had an entire week to get it right. Errors can be fixed. But the extra 45 minutes I had to wait was not worth it. In the end the cake was pretty but did not taste as good as it looked.

I went in there today (2/14/2020 - Valentine s Day) and it was really great! I went in for a chocolate mousse cake, and as I walked in, they were putting the freshly baked cakes on the shelves - the person who took care of me asked if I wanted to decorate the cake, which I did not even have in mind and I said sure When the cake came out, it was beautifully decorated, with Happy Valentines Day in gold sparkle s - I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it came out. The service is amazing, it smells great, and the ambiance, although busy, is also amazing. Thank you for making it a great start to Valentine s Day!

The absolute best. First time there, ordered a specialty cake for my sister's bridal shower and they did an awesome job. Victoria was fabulous and helping me out and just the whole staff everything was a great experience definitely be back.

Needed a vegan cake. Called a couple of places that couldn't do it before we found Conti's. I was a little sceptical because vegan stuff is usually a little too different for me, but my scepticism turned out to be misplaced. It was a vegan sponge cake with strawberries and a whipped cream frosting. We destroyed this cake with several people going back for more. Best cake I've had in some time.
Got some mini eclairs for myself while I was there and they were really good too.

I ordered my brother's wedding cake and I was so happy how it turned out. All the guests enjoyed it. The cake was exactly how I described it to the manager Giana. She was very professional and humble... Plus it wasn't even pricey. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

They made a custom cake exactly to my specs. I was even able to email them custom artwork to use on the cake. The cake looked perfect and tasted great!

I had placed an order for strawberry shortcake and received a cake with butter cream frosting...The person who placed the order never informed me that the frosting was butter cream ...or I would have to buy one already on display ...I needed a small cake which is why I never had the one already made ...Be careful when ordering over the phone as a new question ....The people answering the phone are no informative about changes u order one thing and get another ...Butter Cream defeats the purpose of ordering a Strawberry Shortcake !!!!!!!

Not what I expected. Bland dry cake and filling was horrible.

I've had my butterfly shaped red velvet birthday cake made here and they did such an amazing job that I'm getting my wedding cake done as well.

July 2016 my husband and I had the pleasure of meeting with Senada of Conti's Pastry shop to choose our wedding cake, She was very Knowledgeable ,friendly, patient ,polite with great ideas to match our needs , we did a cake tasting session and was extremely amazed at how good all the cakes tasted, we decided on a teal velvet with 2 different types of cream cheese filling, because our theme colors were teal and coral it was BEST CAKE EVER our guests are asking us to marry again so they can have more cake. YEP we're looking fwd to having another function to order cake from them again. P. S the entire staff is friendly and polite, very easy to work with and also punctual.

EXTREMELY OVERPRICED. Very expensive and cake isn t even good in flavor their main focus is presentation but If Im paying you all this money I should be getting a good cake as well. I been here a couple times and been given the meanest looks ever from staff. Not only that, they prices keep going up I bought a custom 2 tier cake for a certain price (which they lost my order slip a day before the cake was to be done I called and I had to tell them my order again very unorganized) but yes got a 2 tier and wanted a 1 tier cake and they doubled the price less than 1 month later how u gonna double the price for a 1 tier cake. I called them out on it and won t be shopping here anymore. Gave this place a shot because of the HYPE it gets but honestly they chose who to be nice too, they not nice to everyone don t believe that. They letting all the customers they get, get to their head.

Came here to order a custom cake for my moms birthday. I sent photos of exactly what I wanted, when I got the cake, the color was not what I requested. There was a lack of communication, however the staff was very quick to accommodate. After waiting almost a half hour my cake was transformed to exactly how I wanted it. As far as taste , it was freshly baked and delicious. Besides the mishap , I would come back.

Conti s pastries are great, but the cakes are not so good. I ve ordered two custom cakes from here and wasn t satisfied with the taste - they are pricey too. The bakery focuses more on the presentation of the cake rather than what s on the inside, so I wouldn t recommend custom orders. Their cappuccinos, croissants, and bagels are great too. In person customer service is much better than over the phone service - girls are always rushing, conversations are short and clipped...makes you think twice about whether you want to spend your money there or not. Overall it is a beautiful and clean bakery, just wouldn t spend my money on their cakes.

Really nice, dope atmosphere, but somewhat small. The workers were very friendly, helpful, and available to answer questions. The treats were delicious AND there is a special menu for accommodations (gluten free, vegan, lactose free) with special order. I think that's amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Terrific coffee. Great freshly made and wide variety of baked swets. Family run. A Bronx secret. Prices are very reasonable, no corporate overhead and honest pricing, it seems.

Very cozy place to have coffee tea and pastry's . I went to order a birthday cake for my daughter 16th Birthday they were courteous and helpful in creativity of the cake. A bit on the expensive side, but well worth it.

It was the first time I have ever visited the bake shop, it was literally 5 minutes past their closing time and they still happily served us without hesitation. We ended up getting a chocolate mousse cake that was AMAZING! Great desserts. Great service. Keep up the awesome job ladies! We will definitely be back

I recently got married in September so like most brides my nerves were on end about the food tasting and cake tasting. I was referred to Conti's by my wedding venue manager and from the moment I walked in I began to feel at ease. Not only is the staff welcoming and the shoppe charming, but their cakes were amazing!! I was helped by Senada from beginning to end. She was so sweet and patient with me and my mother's 1000 questions. She showed us their different cake designs and the different displays in the shoppe. I fell in absolute LOVE with their chiffon cake with raspberry mousse. Senada went as far as to sketch a cake for me from pure imagination and from LISTENING to my concerns and desires. She came up with an ombre effect with dusted sparkles and large magnolia flowers on each tier. Needless to say my cake came out spectacular!! Everyone loved the cake and kept taking pictures with it. So if you're reading this and you're a bride with cake anxiety, please take my advice and visit Conti's! You will not be disappointed. Its the cake gem of the Bronx lol

Their cake design are the best! I get most of my party cakes here! I got my daughters 3 year presentation cake! Everyone love it. They delivered to the party hall and set it up! You guys are the best! I go here for Fresh squished OJ, and the occasional cup of coffee. Most of the time we just go for cookies

Conti's is a wonderful bakery! We haven't had anything that we didn't like. But more importantly it's a place that makes you feel welcome. Recently my wife and I had a birthday party for our dog, Puzzle. When my wife told the young woman behind the counter that what the cake was for she seemed genuinely delighted. And when I later went to pick up the cake (pictured below) they showed genuine excitement and joy in having made the cake which was beautiful and delicious. We are still pretty new to the area but Conti's is one of the places that makes us feel at home

Exceptional service by the counter staff and the treats are so yummy and fresh. It's a must return soon for me.

This is our #1 spot for any Special Occasion... Their Cakes and Pastries are on Point. We find ourselves here every Month... There is always a lot of Customer Traffic in the shop... Witch is a Good Thing.... It shows that Business is Good and everyone is happy...
I wish that we live closer to this location...

If i could give this place a trillion stars i honestly would. Everything here is AMAZING from the deserts to the staff to the amazing work everything! I tend to order almost all of my cakes from here and let me tell you this I live all the way in Brooklyn and always make it my duty to have my cakes made here by the best cake person ever FRANKIE he is amazing his work is amazing he truly loves what he does and you can tell with all the love and dedication he put into whatever cake I order! guys you will not ever be disappointed this is your go to bakery for everything and its also worth the travel !
