I just purchased two forty foot containers from container one. I am very satisfied with the service and patience of the people I dealt with and I got the best price of everyone that I have contacted. Very happy with the delivery driver, who showed expertise and professional pride in a job well done. I thank everyone that was involved for a job well done.

Where to begin...this is a lot but please read. Might save you from what I experienced.
Not sure how accurate these ratings are..above or maybe they got lucky..
So in the beginning I took a look and was promised a great shape shipping container. Of which I decided to purchase... However after multiple reschedules on their end and 4 days of taking the day off with 7-8 hours on the road to drive to the plot and back later
I had a horrible experience.
After the rep very clearly messed up the order and I mean BAD....
losing 4 straight days of work (due to daily rescheduling from them) plus the 4 hour one way drives to and from, btw also which they knew I was making each time.
I'm told that "the only way they can fix the situation is if I pay the difference in the containers for the one I was promised versus the one I received"... Because the rep of almost a year messed up..
Which mind you is a $2,000 difference.
That's not my screw up, that's yours.
At this point I already paid $3,055... Suddenly asking for an extra $2000 after wasting a week of my time plus getting the order wrong was unacceptable.
Finally on the final day of rescheduling they try to yet again push the date back one more day and bricked an entire work week for me straight ...
Fast forward several hours sitting in my car because at this point over $200+ in gas has been spent just for me to show up and recieve the
container I paid for I'm not making the trip again.....
Finally the container shows up at almost 9 pm when I was supposed to be a 9-11am delivery. After already being rescheduled 3 times that week and 3-4 times that day...
low and behold corporate calls at 8 am today (the following day) saying they can't do anything but refund me.... What? That's all you're going to offer.
what I paid for high-grade container and received less than the water and air tight quality which essentially means I got severely overcharged so a rep could make a fatter commission on a "Big fish client" or for the company to attempt to bamboozle someone.
They do not have the grading scale on their containers like they claim...
Lost over $1600 rescheduling with them and losing work plus the trips down and back only to be told "ah well we can deliver it tomorrow this time" yet again.
They knew that I had a deadline. They also knew that I had other companies and I either needed them to beat the quote or find another company.

I contacted him, got promised the kaki or similar container and then when I contacted him about the gremlin container I received, his comment was "well it's not leaking is it, it should be structurally sound" and then I proceeded to show him images about what he told me I was getting versus what I received and how they were not even remotely in the same ballpark .
paid for a Corvette and received Oscar the grouch.
Mind you these aren't all the damages either just the nasty over 1 foot long ones (one was the whole roof left to right several feet long 6-7ft plus many 1ft tears and patch jobs in the metal).. just what I found at 9-930pm when it finally showed up...

I ordered a 40 foot HC container and it had a roof full of patches, doors that closed very hard, doors that leaked, and the frame underneath was bent. I attempted to resolve these issues with the company but was told that all of that was normal. Leaks and structural damage aren't normal in my opinion. I hope to find a resolution but am very disappointed at this point.

Worst experience I have ever had buying something. Was told delivery would be 5 days and it ended up being 21 days. I had to do all of the calling and got the run around each time. When I said I will have to cancel my order they were going to charge me a restocking fee for something that hadn t even left their lot. Was also told it would come on a hydraulic 20 foot trailer and it showed up at 7:30 at night on a 40 non hydraulic trailer connected to a dually and there was no way to put in where I wanted and I had to use my truck to pull it off the trailer... when I let them know. About all this and the way I felt they ignored me. There are a lot of companies that do this I would highly suggest going somewhere else.

The sale and delivery went really well and the container was in perfect condition. If we need another we would definitely work with them again.
We shopped around for a shipping container and decided on Container ONE. The
salesman told us if we paid for it on Monday, January 29 th , they d deliver the
container on Friday, February 1 st . Friday came and went and our phone calls to
the salesman went unanswered and unreturned.
We started calling other phone numbers at Container ONE and my husband finally
got a return phone call and the rep told him that the salesman lied. They deliver
10 business days after they schedule the shipment and they had not scheduled
the shipment and did not know when they could schedule it. The rep said she d
call in a few days. A week passed with no word and we were starting to feel like
we d been swindled. We called again and were told they were short a driver and
they d call us in a few days.
A few days later and no word, my husband called and demanded shipment. They
said their driver was sick but they d send a new driver that had never delivered
before and would need help unloading the container. We agreed and they said
they d be here on Monday Feb 18th or Tuesday Feb 19 th . No show. Called again.
They said it would be delivered Wednesday the 20th. No show, the driver called
and said he would deliver Thursday morning.
Thursday morning, the truck arrives. My husband and the neighbor had to use
our rolling rods and a front end loader to remove the 40 container from the flat
bed. And to add to my fury, it s an ugly orange, has lots of rust, patches and
dents. Granted, some of this is to be expected with shipping containers but after
what we went through getting it, you d think Container ONE would have the
decency and remorse to at least send us a decent product.
Do not use this company and if you have already paid, I suggest using whatever
means to get your money back before delivery.

I found Container One from a Craigslist ad online. I called around and they had the best prices. I purchased a 40 high boy for my machine shop. I was skeptical at first being it was Craigslist but the buying process was easy and container arrived when promised and it is in good shape. Nina was my sales person and Lexie managed the delivery. I was moving my elderly mother from California to New Mexico. I talked to Mike and ordered a container. I told him the date I needed to have the container here so we could unload a 22 foot moving truck into it. I then got a call from Rebecca who said she was logistics, we confirmed the date. I thought I had done everything right. I had no worries they would do as they said. Two days before I left Ca. for the long drive back to N.M. I found out they didn't even have me set up for a delivery. That the two people I talked to (Mike and Rebecca) had no business assuring me this would be delivered on this date. Panic set in. I talked to Kayleen and explained everything to them, then talked to Lexi, well the container got here but it was 4 days after the date and the people I had here to help me unload this truck had to go home to be to work. I had to hire movers to unload it which cost me more money. Thank god I had the moving truck for 5 days. Kevin delivered the connex and did a great job, but he explained that the people that sell these do not tell people the correct information before it's delivered. They will not compensate you so buyer beware. That being said, Kayleen, Kevin and Lexi were all very apologetic and nice. Still...I think If I knew what I know now, I'd go elsewhere. What a headache...

Container one spent three seconds charging my account 2370 for twenty foot container, and a month later still no container! Customer service says delay in area. Not so convincing since three major ports within two hours drive from my physical address. Beware!

I have received a 40 foot high cube that s been in service since 03 you can imagine what it looked like it had dents but not that big a deal it had a lot of rust where it look like it was about to go through patches all over the roof the walls walls were all bowed in and out You need to use a pipe to latch the doors they are that tough was looking to purchase two more but will never purchase anything from container one I feel like I ve been really shafted

My parents purchased 2 containers with Container One. The containers arrived in the condition that was described. Jason was the delivery driver for both containers. He was able to unload the containers along side the barn, exactly where my father wanted them, even on top of some railroad ties. Very nice guy.

Container came better than expected. Great price including delivery. There was some difficulty getting the container from the yard. I had to call a couple times to keep the order on track, friendly and helpful otherwise. Would definitely order from them again.
The quality of the container was just fine. Used, of course, but solid and perfect to store my stuff. Only problem was being unable to deliver it where I wanted it. It was a wet spring and the truck couldn't get it into the pasture and got stuck in the mud. Had to drop the container where it was and then winch the truck out of the mud. Later, I cut down six trees for rollers and using farm jacks and a large tractor, we pulled it to where it needed to be. You need to take into consideration where you want it parked!
Container was good except the door is very hard to open. Driver was very professional.
I've had it 9 months I think and it has never leaked. I did paint it to get rid of the writing.

I purchased a container from this company with the following condition rating: surface rust, wind and water tight. I spoke with Lexie at Container One on the 30th to arrange delivery for that day or Thursday or Friday. We had to cancel previous deliveries due to weather. She said she would call her driver and get back with me in 30 minutes. I never heard back from her that day. I called Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I never got a call back. She finally called me back the next week. She said that the delivery would be Thursday. I told her ok but would need to watch the weather. She said the driver would call 4 hrs before leaving and I would be able to talk with him. Well, sure enough it was raining on Thursday which would not have been a problem if we had it delivered the week before. Well, I called Lexie and of course, no answer. I left a message that it was raining and would be too muddy to deliver. She didn't call back. I left town to visit the grandkids when I get a call from the delivery driver saying he is 40 miles out. Ridiculous situation because he should have never tried to deliver. I had to turn around and head home to even see if he could try to drop the container. Well, he did try really hard to make it work. He ended up getting stuck more than once and I had to use my truck to help pull him out. He finally had to just drop the container 600 feet from where it goes blocking my driveway. Now I am told it will cost me $250 to get it moved. Not only that, but Lexie was dishonest and made false statements that I know she knew was inaccurate.
CONDITION: This is not the first container I have purchased so I am familiar with WWT with surface rust. This container is the worst out of the 3 I have had direct exposure to. We had to use a pry bar to get it opened. The doors were stuck on the rust at the bottom and the corrosion on the handles. After we got it opened, the front floor around the door was wet from the rain. Clearly, this thing is not water tight. To close it was almost impossible. It took two full grown men to force it closed. My expectations are reasonable when it comes to a used container but this thing doesn't simply have surface rust, it has condition issues beyond that. I have contacted the salesperson, Christine. She has not responded yet. I will wait another day. If eel as though I am owed at least the $250 it will cost to have it moved.
MY RESPONSE TO THE OWNER'S RESPONSE: 1ST-I was told that the container was coming out of Houston and I would receive a call around 8 am before they leave the "yard" by Lexie(logistics rep). Lexie was fine with this because of the weather concerns. You keep bringing up the weather as though it wasn't already discussed prior to the delivery but that is not the case.
2nd- The driver was who told me he was out of Dallas and not Houston. He also told me that Lexie was upset with him for telling me that since she denied it to me. He said he told her would he not lie to me for her and it upset her. (he used the word, "lie") I have no problems with the driver because he did his best under the circumstances.
3rd-At no time did anyone with Container One or the driver say anything to me about being charged for a reschedule. You are the only one to say it in this post. So, another example of you making up "so-called" notes because that conversation never happened.
4th-The driver got stuck on the road and not in my yard. He put his tires in the ditch across the street and lost traction. The trailer also bottomed out. He did not need me to pull him out of the my yard to leave.
With all your constant misrepresentations of the facts, I can see that your "notes" are just made up as you go. You have shown once again that you do not operate with integrity. We are in this situation because Container One did not honor its arrangement with me. Your "looseness" with the facts tells me, and anyone who takes the time to read this true complaint, all they need to know.
I recently purchased a 40 HC container and had it delivered. In the advertisement for the container it stated that the containers are gently used. The container that was delivered had heavy damage to the roof. There are over 24 patched holes in the ceiling and some have deep rust damage. It should not be advertised as gently used. The front door has a heavy gouge at the top and light can be seen when the door is closed and sealed. I have been in contact with Amanda Metzger of Container One. I have been told that the heavy patching to the ceiling is what should be expected and that they will take the "gently used" designation off of the further advertising. I have not been able to get swapped out. There has been water dripping on the floors toward the front of the container. Photos have been provided to the company of some of the damage. The container has patches on top of patches in many areas and heavy rust on some of the patches. I just want to have a container delivered in the condition that was advertised but it doesn't appear that is going to happen. I have filed a complaint with BBB and will update if anything ever comes of it. I have attached photos of the damage and patches.
Update: To make up for the ton of damage and the leaky seals they sent me about 3 foot of door seal to install myself. They do not stand behind their advertisements or "warranty."
I just bought a 40ft container it was the worst experience I have had. They didn't put the container where we agreed on. Dropped it on the side of the road. Told me that it wasn't there problem So it costed me a extra 700 to have it moved into place. One of the worst companies I have used . one suggestion is don't pay up front wait till they do their job first once they have Your money they don't care.

Container was in good condition when my personal carrier delivered it for me. Everything with the purchasing decision was good. Although I did experience buyer remorse after receiving the container. I really needed one with doors on both ends. The one I bought has doors on only one end. My mistake.

Purchased two 9 ft tall containers that I'm using as walls for a low corral and storage.
We were debating getting a storage shed or 40 container for storage while we do a remodel. I came across ContainerOne and we could not beat the price! We place the order and our container was delivered that same week! It is in good shape and as far as we can tell right now is weather tight! Like that it comes with a warranty if we do have any issues.
Container One is the best company I have found to purchase a container through. They are a very trustworthy company and they handled the purchase and delivery like true professionals. The price on my container was the best I found from anyone in the area. Others wanted several hundred dollars more for the same exact container. I received an order confirmation and order receipt via email, and a phone call to schedule actual delivery. Plus they were always there to call, text, or email with any questions. The driver Jeremy was absolutely AMAZING. Such a can-do attitude and a pleasure to work with. Very professional! When I need another 40 HC, they will be my first and only call!

After looking at available reviews I trusted my instincts and contacted the sales team. I ordered 2 HC 40' containers. I used the ACH process for payment. Everything went smooth and I was in constant contact with the teams that handled my order. Were the containers perfect? No I bought used ones to save money and one was a little more beat up than the other. Did they drop the containers in the right spot? Yes, within inches of where I had driven stakes. I would highly recommend the professionals to anyone.
Well , after reading some of the horror stories about the containers, I was really concerned, but I took the chance that someone would actually be honest and I was very happy with the container that I got. It didn't have any leaks and the seals on the doors worked fine. The only downside that I could see is that the doors are so tight that it's kind of hard for a senior to open and close but THANK YOU CONTAINER ONE. I WILL RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE.

I hade a very good experience with ContainerOne. Was told it would be delivered in 10 business days or less and it was. Marie was wonderful. She kept in contact with me throughout the whole process. The 40High Cube was in good condition, as expected. I will definitely buy more containers from them.
