Nice and convenient at the beach. Lots of eateries to choose from, but watch out for people grabbing cell phones and wallets lying on your table outside. Keep valuables in your pockets and watch your handbag.

Views, food, fun. A must for locals and tourists. Restaurants, surf and kite surfing lessons, clothes, coffee shops and a fabulous beach with lifesavers. SUP or bodyboard. Simply chill and admire the iconic view. Not to be missed!

It's pretty, but boring, and the restaurants are mediocre. It starts to be pretty great after 5 beers and it's really cool after 10 but it's far out of town so don't drive for a few hours after testing the beer (they don't really have exotic beers anyway). The public toilets are cleaned continuously. Big lawns for kids to play on. Best view of Table Mountain. Popular hang-out for everyone from families to young adults and big bikers. You could spend a good few hours there happily. Has a Pick'nPay, a pharmacy, a small shopping centre and some fairly interesting little shops --> nothing expensive + if it is expensive you're being screwed. Surrounded by lots of small modern housing units. Nice beach (but this is the Atlantic so it's cold) kite surfers, ordinary short-board surfers, folks with kites on the beach + lawns (there is a steady, cool breeze that can turn into a pretty strong wind all the way up the West Coast). Old folks may not enjoy this so much. Better if you're young and strong. Good bodies on display.

A nice little center for those lazy days where you wanna go and sit in a restaurant and get something to eat while you look at the ocean. The rest of the interior of the center however can't really be compared.

Lovely place for a picnic or even choose from a variety of resturants and/or bars. Lovely food, a small mall between the buildings for anything you may need. Lovely place to relax by the beach.

There is always parking at this center which is great!! Especially as it's free and underground as well. A great selection of shops and food as well as activities. The views are fantastic and one of the best centers this side of Cape Town.

It is a very beautiful beach and it is unique. It has one of the most attractive restaurants and a surfing school and shops. Every year surfers from around the world meet and compete in a popular competition called King of the Air. If you want to chill and experience a great time, Eden on the Bay is the place to be.

Wow is all I can say it was really wonderfully to see all the shops there next to the beach, the restaurants were so nice. I really enjoyed myself here and if i go to Cape Town again i will go to Eden on the Bay again no doubt on that.

you wont fo wrong with place as there is no better place to watch the sunset in Cape Town while sipping on cocktails or a lovely cup of coffee. There are great restaurants and coffee shops. The best part is that it is on the beach and kids friendly

Best view of table mountain. This is the surfers spot, cool place to hang out right on the sea front with some good bars and restaurants. Best for a weekend brunch or afternoon drinks.

Personally, I think Sundays are the best days to go for brunches. I'm not a pet person, but many restaurants are pet friendly. There are lots of seafood restaurants, (naturally), but my favourite place is El Barrio Tacos and Tequila.

You can shop at Pick 'n Pay and stock up at Pick 'n Pay liquors before quenching your thirst at one of the many restaurants, such as Moyo. Take a walk along the beach at sunset.

There is enough safe parking and plenty of ice-cream and waffles for the kiddies. You can be a kid yourself and enjoy that too.
