For those who have the opportunity to do another school: to avoid.

I agree with Florian Platel. I can only advise you against this school. The academic level leaves something to be desired and the teachers as a whole are not very pedagogical. I would just add that in case of difficulty you must literally struggle before finding someone inclined to help you. In other words, it is better not to have administrative problems because you will have to pay them alone. Also, be aware that you can see doors closed (double degree, study abroad, internship ...) for reasons that challenge the understanding, it becomes absurd ...

It is always boring to give a negative opinion about a school, it amounts to devaluing the diploma of former students and incidentally your own when you graduate from that school. But on the other hand, a school that does not hesitate to close options - thus sacrificing the credibility of the diplomas of some of its former students on the job market -, and does not seem very concerned about the poor employment situation of many of its graduates, does not display an exemplary attitude either.
After twenty years of industrial and university experiences, I cannot decently advise a young person to go to this school. Regarding management, experience has shown me that in the various companies in which I have worked that the Douai mine engineer was not perceived as credible to occupy high positions. Today I work, after other training, in the field of research and I do not have a positive vision on the scientific level of the diplomas of this school (and it is certainly not the establishment of 'a "breeding" of PhD students which will change this situation ...).
