This historic beach has a romantic attraction and the shopping mall serves a purposes, BUT run down tired restaurant shop fronts on promenade looks depressing and matches what is served up. A pity for those that do deliver great service and good food amidst these substandard neighbours.
Kauai has the best wraps by far at Eden on the Bay!

Nice venue, great views and lovely pathways to walk on the beach. The location is great. Spending the afternoon at one of the restaurants drinking cocktails and watching kite surfers, till the sun goes down is fantastic.

Eden on the Bay is always a good place to be in the Summer or hot days. Beach is stunning, water is just right. Place for surfers. Romance hang out of couples and family. Food places are great. Nice restaurants to choose from. I love this area.
Beautiful place to shop. Just remember this is a village centre, so it won't have absolutely everything.
Great views and outdoor experience. Green lawn open to anyone for picnic. Indoor spaces are very small businesses and shops. Not ideal or intended for extensive shopping.
I would give minus 5 review if I could. Sunday lunch: sushi salad, sushi and broschutto toast. Took 2 hours for the salad and sushi to arrive. Complete joke. Walked off. Managers (both) were useless

Nice selection of small shops, plus some good choices for food. But a great place to hang out, either on the beach or the grass, and it's dog-friendly too!
The Pick n Pay Sushi Bar ...lots of lovely little shops and restaurants! It's a gem
That salesmen running around there harassing people to buy fake holidays from The Holiday Club. Very annoying.
I hope they read this. And i really hope centre management should warn them to stop harassing tourists.

If you come to cape town you have to visit this place. It was a beach for swimming and offers the best views for table mountain and robin island

La Brasa restaurant.... Worst experience ever, service as well as the food. Will never visit again or recommend to anyone. And when we got the bill, overcharged with almost R500 for drinks that never arrived at the table.

They paved paradise & put up a parking lot.. It's not Eden, & it's killed the beach, sand has gone with the natural shifting blocked by buildings

This place never fails to disappoint. After giving it a miss for alnost 2 years, we decided to try again. Inside Lounge restaurant has the worst service. Took forever to get menus and forever to order. Waited a long time before they came to tell us they suddenly ran out of ingredients. Surely they didn't run out of wine which I had ordered more than 30 mins prior. Pathetic.

pretty average place, nothing outstanding, a good idea would be to get some sushi from the pick n pay and have sundowners&sushi on the beach :) generally super windy though :/
There is a nice selection of restaurants and bars here, and the centre itself is quite neat and clean. Parking is usually quite a struggle, however, and currently the beach is under maintenance so it's quite messed up with rubble etc. and not much actual beach. I'm sure this will be fixed soon, but until then I'm giving three stars.
A stunning location with several restaurants and boutique shops. It can get quite busy during holiday periods, so it is best enjoyed during the morning or in the late afternoon.
It was crowded because it is so popular. Be there early and stay until sunset.
