Conrad Indianapolis Review

I attended an event at the Capital Grille, and the service and atmosphere were incredible. The staff was very attentive, and the food and drinks were delicious. The Conrad is a fancy hotel, and the Capital Grille is a comparably fancy restaurant and bar.

One of the high end hotels in Indianapolis. 4-5 large suite rooms available that are uncommon in Indy. JW is the closest comp and doesn't feature the larger suite rooms that Conrad has.

Indoor pool and nice workout space. Ideal central location but parking is expensive. Ideally find a cheaper nearby lot or garage instead.

Capital Grill is attached and is the room service restaurant. During COVID pool access is limited to mornings (6-10) and room service is breakfast only, otherwise its all day. But mall and many restaurants are in close proximity.

Photos are from the "pop" suite on the 5th floor. There are 4 suites on the floor, each with different styles and layout.

Zach was extremely professional and the staff were incredibly hospitable first time staying in Indianapolis and it won't be the last. Very much look forward to staying here again.

And my sister. The hotel itself is really neat. I ve never actually stayed here mainly because I don t have the courage to. But Adam made my day.

They were very welcoming and accimadating of us checking in very late.

Hotel was very noisy. Every time someone shut their door it would slam. This was constant and kept us awake. We could hear the people on either side of our room talking. The hotel gave us a free night to be used in the future because of the noise problems.

Stayed here for 7 days. Great luxurious accommodations yet not the most communicative staff as I requested my room be cleaned to no avail with no explanation until I brought it again to their attention. Free internet but you'll have to log-in every day for every device.

Spend 2-days in business meetings there - great service and atmosphere.

Nice rooms and spa. Also enjoy the view of downtown. This place is worth visiting!

The hotel is immaculate and nicely furnished. Staff is helpful and friendly. Great location.

This is a very good property. It's not as posh as a Four Seasons, but it's nearing the cusp. I've stayed in various room types, and even the smaller options are cozy and relaxing with larger bathrooms. Room service varies but it can be quite good, and the fitness center has probably the nicest gym of any hotel I've ever stayed in. With a nice indoor pool this is a great location in the winter months. The price varies of course, so the value depends on when you book, but you can find good deals that are well worth it. I've never had a bad stay here.

Why bother to review? My experience was totally different from others' in 2021, and facts should/can be shared.

Baseline: experience of 4-star and 5-star hotels around the world.

Why 2 star?
1. cleanness -> see the motel-grade self-evident photos.

2. room assignment. Was assigned a room next to ice maker, and with elevator noise. Absolutely not sure why such a room is assigned in a quite less occupied hotel during pandemic, and why a diamond member would be punished to such a well known noisy room.

3. 3-HOUR from check-in to finally settle-down in a decent and quiet room, and we missed our evening event due to the long delay.

4. in room dining
- called 5 times and every time the phone was picked up and put aside without any answer. Had to call front desk for help

5. not fact-based answers. When asked about the noise, the front desk suggested sending an engineer to solve the noise from the elevator and ice makers. Can any engineer turn of the elevator(s)???

Stayed for 3 nights. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Room was clean and comfortable. The galleries were nice. Overall a great stay!

The Conrad has been exceptional. All the staff, from the front desk to the concierge, the valets to housekeepng, they've all been wonderful. The room service was great and the food tasty. The room we were in was clean and modern. I'm looking forward to staying here again soon.

I was a little disappointed for that amount of money I expected a cleaner room. The glass on all tables was dirty as well as mirrors. The carpet appeared to need shampooing. Very dissapoited. Too much money for this.

The Conran is a beautiful hotel, located in central indianapolis. It has a perfect location... Where many if indianapolis historic monuments are located... Like the circle of lights, circle center mall, or the war memorial. It's great for anyone with a family to couples or singles. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Very helpful and polite. I would definitely stay there again. The staff treated us like kings and queens. Our meal at capital grill was one of the best meals in a long time.

The stay at the Conrad was one of the best hotel stays ever. The staff when out of their way to make sure I had everything needed. It was spotless clean, the bed shower and coffee were all top notch. To bad all hotels do not provide this level of service. Big shout out to the management team, they know what they are doing.

Staff is very professional and helpful. The rooms are very clean and a pleasure to stay in. There are quite a few restaurants and the mall easily within walking distance. This isn't our first visit and it won't be our last.

Nice hotel, great rooms. Loved the walk-in shower, lots of pressure. Meeting rooms and corporate breakfast we're good. Staff is top notch. The only negative is parking is expensive and it can take 20 minutes to get your car once requested.

Booked their Superior room for my birthday. Got to the hotel early and although I wasn't able to get into my room until normal check-in hours I was able to do early check in with them texting me exactly when my room was ready.

The room faced Monument Circle which I thoroughly enjoyed. Fridge had a key which revealed a stocked fridge of alcohol and other beverages. Unfortunately the fridge was off but wasn't a huge deal since I didn't drink out of fridge or need it to store any food. No microwave which wasn't an issue but could be for others.

Their turndown service leaves little chocolates on your pillow. They also apparently offer free bicycles to explore the city.

Overall I left very relaxed and ready to return soon!

Great food and service. The fruit water is worth it alone. Wonderful diversity. Suits and ties right near buskers in the heart of downtown.

This is a 5 star hotel. This hotel has been rated 5 stars by me and others. Some people gave it 4 but I gave it a 5 out of 5, measured in stars.

I loved my stay!! It's a classy and a very respectable place.

This building is not 23 stories high an have poor service would not recommend for any others

Very nice upscale hotel located in the middle of everything that the downtown has to offer. Restaurant and bar onsite. Use the valet and leave your car parked while you walk or Uber anywhere you need to go.

It was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at! It had an amazing jet bath tub and the banquet hall was beautiful too! But the best was the hors d'oeuvres served at cocktail hour!!

South West corner of the city center, access to many restaurants and bars. The design of the hotel has a classic feel. Beds are comfortable. The service is the best!

Very comfortable and superbly professional. Must see Jay at the Wine Tasting bar, he is highly knowledgeable with the back bar and wittingly cool!!

Center of indianao, rooms are clean and the pool locker room provide toothbrush, shower cap, deodorant and a shaving kit.

Extremely dated, room had not been well cleaned (dust on lamp shades ect) and the price does not justify what you get.

Unfortunately I was only allowed in the back door just kidding i was delivering. To any driver. Wide right turn in the alley under a building to get to dock. I did it with a 53 van extended sleeper. WIDE RIGHT.

It was pretty cool, I guess. I actually never went in. I'm just writing this review for Google.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to stay long. What I did experience was great. Clean and modern room with HBO as a great bonus.

Best hotel. Honestly the nicest 4.5 star I've stayed in (here's looking at you Monaco). Beautiful, clean rooms. Top notch bedding and toiletries. Temperature control works flawlessly. And housekeeping staff wrapped our cords in Conrad Velcro strips! How freaking cool is that?! Also there was a little mix up with valet (our key went temporarily missing). They offered Uber to get us where we were going in the meantime and then comped our parking without us even asking (we weren't too inconvenienced by it). They found the key in short order.

Attended an annual luncheon at the Conrad. As usual the hotel is beautiful and the food and service great. It's always a treat to take those that haven't had the experience before to see how excited they are by the coordinated serving and excellent service. The only downside is the location makes the valet a madhouse that I would rather not deal with but otherwise highly recommend for your event needs

I ve had many clients who ve selected the Conrad as their wedding venue - it s a great choice for a classic, formal affair. Highly recommend them if you re planning a wedding!

This hotel is beautiful and the rooms are wonderful

Loved our modernism suite. The only thing we could say negative is that the tooms werent very clean. All types of trash behind the couches and under the bed. We wrote dust me on literally every surface+ paid 1700 no microwave or refrigerator without a charge. Just pretty petty. Other than that.. twas amazing!

Great location, beautiful facility, and the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.

The highlights of our stay included the very comfortable bed, great bathroom/shower, and courteous staff. There could have been some extras that would ve been appreciated like a welcome drink.
