Conrad Indianapolis Review

I recently stayed at the Conrad in Indianapolis in celebration of my wife's birthday. They exceeded every expectation that I had. The staff was phenomenal, the facility is gorgeous, and they went out of their way to make our stay great. I will be back for sure.

Beautiful hotel. Very clean. Top notch wine bar on one end and Capital Grille on the other end of the lobby.

UPDATE 2: I got a call back from the Conrad after contacting Hilton about my attempts to resolve directly with the property. I got a call back and they have made things right. Updated from 1 to 3 stars.

UPDATE: After getting the canned response from the Conrad to my previous review (in which they forgot to even change the name; the canned response called me "Beth"), I took them up on their offer to get in touch to try to "regain my trust". After navigating the Conrad staff, I got the direct voicemail for Mr. Tinsley and left my personal number twice. He's never called back. Again, I'll update the review if/when the situation resolves itself, but at this point, this has been extremely far from a luxury experience. Updated from 2 to 1 stars.

Pros: Fantastic restaurants (Tastings and Capital Grill), welcoming lobby, well appointed bathroom
Cons: Those fantastic restaurants are available no matter where you're staying so no real need to stay at the Conrad to experience the restaurants.
I have an error on the receipt they e-mailed to me and I have been unable to get it resolved. I've called the hotel multiple times, but they just keep sending me to "the finance department" which is just a voicemail that they don't seem to monitor or return calls from.
No lounge is available for Diamond elites and the breakfast credit didn't cover any actual breakfasts (unless you wanted what basically just amounted to a pastry). The breakfast credits were not correctly assigned at check-in so I had to have that corrected. Very little chance of a room upgrade since it appears from their website that there are only 20 upgrade eligible "suites" in the whole hotel.
Overall: Decent hotel, but didn't feel very luxury when I had to really work to ensure the credits and billing are correct (still isn't; will update if resolved).

This was my first time staying at the conrad and it was more than wonderful. The best customer service I have ever had anywhere. Every single person who worked while we stayed went above and beyond for us. The room service and food were so good. I can't say enough about how great the staff was. Hats off to the chefs as well!! Thank you for a beautiful stay! I will be back.

Conveniently located... Didn't stay here but attended a conference for couple of days...neat and tidy...no complaints!

Took my wife here for a date to help make her feel better. The full bath in the room was a great perk. It even has a TV in the bathroom, which was very nice. We will stay here again when in Indy.

I love this property. The staff are very personable and friendly. The location is very convenient to everywhere downtown Indy. The room was so very nice and accommodating. Every thing was clean and it's a weird thing to say but the whole hotel smelled so incredibly nice and clean. We loved our stay here. We will definitely be going back to The Conrad.

i dont see why they are allowed to park cars on the cultural trail and set up their valet booth in the way. its a dangerous spot and is made even more so by the rushing valets and clueless out-of-towners. Have had several near misses here over the years

Conrad Indianapolis has clean & open rooms, with friendly service, a welcoming environment, & plenty of amentities. It is a little on the pricey side but that is to be expected. Please do your research before planning a stay at this hotel. While the hotel is fine -if not wonderful- the attached parking garage is an absolute nightmare. It does not accept cash & you will be forced to back up your vehicle to walk out of the garage & find an ATM elsewhere. If the parking garage was owned by the hotel, this review would be a very generous 1/5 stars. The hotel itself & its staff are a solid 4/5 though.

Clean, safe and elegant. Great experience within walking distance from restaurants and bars. Will do it again.

Well, it lived up to it's status - room was excellent, amenities were excellent, and the staff were phenomenal. Only wish it had more of a selection for the Keurig, and needed more creamers and sugar ...

The concierge was great. The staff was incredible. All willing to help with a smile. The beds.... Oh my, so comfortable! The bathroom was sexy..... See through shower jacuzzi tub and television. Im talking 4 star hotel with 5star qualities! If i had to critique... The elevator was super fast.. I dont want to stay anywhere else in indy.(maybe the sybaris) I would say the rooms could be bigger. Oh yea dont you dare eat those nuts(6$) or Voss water (6$). Well we did... Ballin

Always a great place to stay. Staff always accommodates and super friendly. Beds are comfy and clean. Just a beautiful historic building.

My employer uses the Conrad to host events. The level of professionalism exhibited by the events and catering staff is top shelf.

I have stayed in a ton of hotels over the past 5 years as I traveled with my kids for club volleyball, softball and soccer. The Conrad Hilton was honestly one of THE BEST hotels in all of my travels. This time we went to Indy for a volleyball tournament and unfortunately we had a major emergency with my daughter and she had to be rushed to the hospital. They treated her like a princess for the rest of our stay....gift baskets, a wheelchair, housekeeping asking about her, etc etc. The managers, staff, concierge were truly amazing. I personally would recommend the Conrad Indianapolis to anyone/everyone. If I could have rated it more than 5 stars...I would have!

Great hotel with super friendly and professional staff. Very clean rooms as well. There is no free parking it's either valet or public paid parking.

Fabulous rooms and everything smells good :)! Quiet which is amazing. Tons of great amenities and staff was discreet and helpful. Would be happy to stay here again! Hard to get to in downtown traffic sometimes.

The service was great. Very clean hotel. I appreciate them offering water throughout my stay. The locations was great with a five to ten minute walk to most attractions.

I want to personally thank the manager Lamont for all of his hospitality and professionalism. Whenever my husband and I do staycations, the Conrad Hotel is the only choice for us in all of Indy. The hotel is so accommodating, the rooms are all great, but we love the corner suites the best. Their indoor pool, jacuzzi and poolside seating are so inviting. We love the dry and steam saunas available to guest as well. Thank you Lamont again for making our stays memorable. Thank you to all the other staff as well.

We went to Tastings (in the Conrad) for drinks. Everything was extremely nice.

Hotel is beautiful,. Great location. Nice restaurant and wine bar. Some issues with minor things in the room but all in all nice place

Had our wedding reception there. The food was amazing and the staff did an amazing job setting up the reception hall. It truly was the best night of our lives!
