I would recommend anyone who even has a small desire to be in Television or Radio to really consider the Connecticut School of Broadcasting. I attended CSB in 2012 and had an absolute outstanding experience. The instructors were not only passionate about the topics they taught, but they had the real life experiences to back up their teachings. I had some knowledge of the television side working with a club in college, but CSB really filled in the gaps. To this day I stay in contact with instructors and the school as they keep me informed of workshops and potential job openings.

I didn't like how thing we're going with my job. I had been thinking about going to CSB for at least 5 years. I finally decided to go in 2016, & I feel it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I've met so many great people through the school. CSB was only the beginning on the new path I'm on, but I look forward to the journey

I applied twice to become better at what I do. I'm a dj and I wanted to get on a podcast and start a career in radio. Both times I "auditioned " I was told I need to "practice" and basicly turned away. I thought this was a school not some job interview the reason I came to this place was to be trained to become better not be turned away. Very disappointing.

I attended CSB Farmington in hopes to learn more about video editing to compliment my undergraduate degree in Graphic Design. Although my interests were leaning more towards the camera operations, editing and production side of broadcasting, gaining experience in all aspects increased my abilities for all projects and jobs. Not only were we encouraged by instructors to stay after class and use the programs we were learning, I wanted to.

The instructors and staff are unbelievably talented individuals who work in the actual business and bring in others in the field to gain an even bigger perspective of what it takes to break into this industry. I still get emails for side jobs from the school and use their equipment whenever in need! To this day they are always available if I have questions or need a review on how to do something. My hopes and expectations were exceeded within the first week. If you have any doubt about attending Connecticut School of Broadcasting go in and meet them first hand for a private tour. They are very accommodating and want the best for all their students.

I attended CSB back in 1996. Though I did not pursue a career in broadcasting I can say that it was a really great experience learning all the ins and outs of the broadcasting field. It was fun and I got a chance to meet some really genuine people Hank Tenney, Radio personality Renee of Kiss 95 (again remember it was '96), Channel 22's Keith Silver, founder Dick Robinson and even broadcasting legend, Sebastian of what was formerly WCCC. I learned quite a bit. One of the most important things I took away was a statement from Sebastian. He drew a diagram on the board and asked us questions about people and jobs. When he was through, he pointed to a portion of the diagram that indicated what he was about to say which stayed with me to this day. He said : " 80% of people who get up and go to work every day hate their jobs". To be truly happy with your career, pursue what's in your heart. CSB was a very memorable experience that taught me not only about broadcasting but about myself. Im glad I went. Thank you Connecticut School of Broadcasting

The Connecticut School of Broadcasting was one of the best decisions I ever made. Instead of having a job I dreaded going into every day, I am now working in radio at a full time in a job I love. Every day is something different and the Connecticut School of Broadcasting made it possible. They give you hands on experience that applies to the broadcasting world. After you graduate classes the instructors really stick with you and help you find internships and jobs until you find exactly what you are looking for. I would recommend The Connecticut School of Broadcasting for anyone who is interested in this field of work.

CSB allowed me to make the connections and get the internships that I needed to break into the industry. Two years after graduating I am gainfully employed full time in a large market. If you take advantages of the resources they offer you can find your place in the industry. Like any other form of higher ed, you get out what you put in.

This school loves to help those who want to help themselves. They give you all the tools, experience, programs and knowledge to start a career in broadcasting; the rest is up to you.

Once I graduated, I had full access to the campus, which is where I was able to hone my skills post-graduation and pre-employment. This is the most vital time of your career, because you have to WANT to be successful. If you're going to wait for them to "give" you a job, that's not going to fly. Quite honestly, that's not going to fly in most places.

The year that I've been in radio, I've done on-air morning co-hosting and producing, hockey play-by-play, commercial production, promotions, and everything in between. And I owe it to CSB, their staff and teachers, and their facility.
