I attended CSB back in 1996. Though I did not pursue a career in broadcasting I can say that it was a really great experience learning all the ins and outs of the broadcasting field. It was fun and I got a chance to meet some really genuine people Hank Tenney, Radio personality Renee of Kiss 95 (again remember it was '96), Channel 22's Keith Silver, founder Dick Robinson and even broadcasting legend, Sebastian of what was formerly WCCC. I learned quite a bit. One of the most important things I took away was a statement from Sebastian. He drew a diagram on the board and asked us questions about people and jobs. When he was through, he pointed to a portion of the diagram that indicated what he was about to say which stayed with me to this day. He said : " 80% of people who get up and go to work every day hate their jobs". To be truly happy with your career, pursue what's in your heart. CSB was a very memorable experience that taught me not only about broadcasting but about myself. Im glad I went. Thank you Connecticut School of Broadcasting
