I took a laptop in for a repair. Although I had called ahead of time to make sure it would be ok, they made it clear they were not happy that I pulled the hard drive before bringing it in. The problem was that the laptop would not power up at all so the hard drive was not necessary.

I brought in the laptop on a Saturday. I was promised a call with an estimate that day or Monday. I received no call that week so I stopped in when I was in the neighborhood the following Saturday. The person at the repair desk said a lot of people had been out, he was about to look at my laptop, and definitely would call that day or Monday at the latest. When I had received no call by Tuesday, I called to arrange to just get the laptop back. They made an attempt to get me to give them another hour to work up an estimate but did not give me a hard time when I refused.

Overall, I cannot rate the work because I did not end up getting any done. I ended up losing about a week and a half but it was not a huge problem. If it had been, I would have pushed harder. This business may just be overworked and/or disorganized.

I had a terrible experience getting my laptop repaired. I knew it needed a new fan and told them so. It took them ten days to get around to LOOKING at my laptop and determining that, surprise, it needed a new fan. By the time they ordered, received, and installed the fan, I had spent three weeks with no laptop. I will never go back.

It's a computer thrift store and random junk is kinda everywhere. There's like a huge section in the back which they seem to just stack random things and computer part boxes.

Their selection is okay. They have low to mid range laptops and some decent computer cases. They also have some nice startech products and expansion slots for your computer. They have some gaming graphics cards like the 1050 ti and a couple of motherboards. I think they're a bit overpriced, like the GTX 770 is around $300 despite being close to the 1050 ti (although, they don't sell well online either).

There was only one guy who worked there. He didn't know the price of something so he had to call the owner and tell me. He kinda just stood next to me the whole time and didn't say much.
