Do not bother to waste your time with them. It started out putting up $500 to start. I talked to a representative in Texas who was very professional, then they sent me to a representative in Chicago and let say things changed for the worst . Then they turn around and want more money, then additional funds after that. I was better making a deal and payment arrangement with the IRS directly. They're sales practice are very questionable to say the least.

I owe irs a lot of tax. I called community tax and i paid 8000 dollars back in 2011 to community tax. I was not sure how and what they were doing. They told me they can make it a non collectible status until 2021 and it will go away. So i believed them. Now its 2021 and i am getting a letter from irs for my tax to pay in full. Community tax lied to me that the tax will go away. Just to get my money. Dont fall for their lies.

I had made a mistake of earlier posting a negative review, but the situation was resolved by the professional and knowledgeable team at Community Tax. Very simply put, 2020 & 2021 is a very bad time to try to get anything done with the IRS. They are swamped. My situation was investigated, acted upon, and resolved over a long period of time, but my representative, knew what to do amid all the delays. Turns out my IRS situation wasn't as bad as maybe some customers of tax relief companies, but Community Tax cut right to the chase and got me on the right track. I had peace of mind early on, and ended up seeing excellent follow through. Thank you!
