Very friendly office staff. Everyone does a great job of making you feel comfotable. Overall, my experience with Dr. Dr.Resid was very positive and knowledgeable. The Staff is very informative and nice. The financial manger breaks down everything so no unexpected charges will be occur the end which is very important. I haven t even mention the expectional job Dr. Resid performed. Simply amazing!!!

In relation to the cost of work they do not speak to you accurately, they do not give you details of how much it will cost a certain job, before going to the dentist they give you a quantity and when it happens to make the next appointment they tell you about another amount.

AMAZING STAFF AND DENTIST ! Went for an extraction of my wisdom tooth . Done in the no time at all with no pain while performing the procedure . Will highly recommend . I was in so much pain before this and they truly helped !

Excellent place to save your hard earned money! They saved my life from an infection! Right away during an emergency crises. I am greatfull for them. It does take time and if you schedule you must keep it or you will loose it and end up waiting for your next appointment in two months. So plan accordingly like get the day off from work and schedule it like it is for sure that your going to be there. Don't get mad if you don't make it because I already warned you!

Great dentists here! I can t believe I have never heard of this clinic before. The front desk staff is very nice and welcoming. The phones are too crazy for the amount of staff they have so the trouble to get in contact by phone is way understandable. I am very happy with the doctor that I am with now and I think it was the clinic director that spoke to me and he talked about my case with me. I don t understand some of the bad reviews about this place. When you re given your appointment time, do not expect to be seen right away. There is a wait time but then again there is a wait time for most doctors anywhere you go. There is a review I saw here that mentioned the doctors are not real dentist yet. This is a lie they come from other countries as dentist already. I was explained by the front desk that some even had their own clinics for some time before coming to the US. This is just a residency program that allows them to work in this state. And come on this is a community clinic that offers great prices and services compared to the private clinics. The service here is more than we could ask for!

All the staff at the dental clinic are attentive and the doctors are doctors who make us feel that we are all the same. The jobs they do are excellent and well done. Prices are cheap and better than in other private clinics.

Today I had a continuance job done on my root canal and these two dental assistants made the process incredibly smooth with their kind, polite, professional and sincere treatment towards me. Their names are PATRICIA GARCIA & NIURA NASUR . I wanna thank them both for uplifting my spirit and making the process super simpler!

I not sure how the service is when you get inside to see the doctors, but the initial service I received from the receptionist was horrible. She gives you information based on how she feels. She told me new patients are seen in August, it is May and another patient got a appointment in 2 weeks.

I'm completely happy with Community Smiles. They are very professional and good at what they do. I'm grateful that I'm able to receive quality care at a place that i can afford. Community Smiles is a god sent.

It has been a total nightmare from the beginning the first doctor damaged with of my teeth and I had to have surgery and bone attachment. I went through horrible and unbearable pain for almost a year. On top of that they charged me for their negligence! Also, every visit I have to wait for over 2 hours and sometimes more than 3 hours! If you try to contact them over the phone is impossible! Nobody ever answers! The worst of worst in my opinion is that you're seen by apprentice no real dental expertice personal and they're always changing. Once they graduate you get assigned a new one who always asks: why are you here for? Like you never been there before nor have your records in their system to read ahead of time! I know there other patients that had suffer negligence at this Community Smiles place.

Too bad the people who really need dental help will not be reading this review. The bottom line is, dental care is not cheap on any level. That said, If a $500 dental bill for basic care is exorbitant for the person with a job and dental insurance, then, in the same breathe, a $50 dental bill is even more out of reach for the indigent. So, the trade off for dental students to practice on low income, uninsured patients is a valuable community service. I don't know if you can walk in to this clinic just like that, I was referred to Community Smiles, Lindsay Hopkins by the Jackson Memorial Hospital dental clinic, for periodontal care. The initial fee amounted to some where north of $100, and with it came some draconian instructions to boot. I missed the set appointment, and was spooked by prison like interior decor and the over powering feeling of being trapped in a concrete jungle of dungeon and dragons.

I am beyond blessed to have found this dentistry office in the heart of Miami. The service from all the staff is amazing but I am very grateful to have Alexandria Ortiz & Dr. Luis Mejia take care of all my needs. They have been great help! You can tell they love what they do. I highly recommend this office to anyone who wants not only great dentist services but also amazing costumer services.

staff is very rude. management is horrible and extremely unorganized. everyone is constantly running around, rushed and under huge stress. don't waste your time and especially your money coming here.

Overcrowded and sketchy. Keep in mind by going here you are a Guinea pig. The students who work on you are in training to be a dentist. They got their residency in other countries. They are not actual dentists yet and are trying to meet the criteria. If anything goes wrong they are not held accountable and this may cost you more down the road in the future.

I went in and had an emergency root canal done. One of the students reached into my mouth without gloves on while the tooth was open. A week later a white pea sized painful cyst formed below the tooth along the gumline. I went back to get it fixed and was told they would not help me because I had gotten a second opinion somewhere else.

They wanted me to wear a temporary crown that was broken and had open margins for 3 more months which by the way is horrible since it let's in decay and can cause more damage. You're only supposed to wear temps for 2 weeks. My concerns were met with disregard and I was pretty much told to go screw myself.

When I asked for xrays from jennifer at the front desk I was also met with disregard. I asked her a total number of 9 times and even had another dentist ask her for them. They were never sent. If that isn't a big red flag I dont know what is.
I had paid for the xrays after all. What are you trying to hide?

So sure, the prices are cheap but at what cost down the road?
If this clinic wasnt handled like a fast food drive thru it would have potential. But instead theres typically a 3 hour wait and lack of patience when it comes to patients concerns.

And to top it off I caught one of the student dentists writing fake reviews for this clinic.....so that's great.

And the professor who was supposed to check on her work never came back to monitor the procedure.

Since writing the review below, I've experienced an improvement in the front desk customer service. The dental clinic demonstrated that they are responsive to improving their customer service. Thanks!

This morning I had an appointment for 8:00 a.m. to see the dentist along with the orthodontist specialist, who comes once monthly. I arrived at 7:30 am and there were only 2 walk-in patients. I checked in and paid for my visit by 7:46 am. Upon the dental staff arrival they began calling in patients at about 8:15 am. I waited patiently as always until 9:00 am, after they called in several patients that arrived long after i did. Upon approaching the from desk person, ( I think her name is Jennifer), I was given some very lame excuse then see said she would move me up to the next patient with one of the doctors, from the 3rd position I was in.

I was called into the doctor's treatment room at 9:30 am, 2 hours after my arrival. And i wasn't seen by the specialist until about 1015 a.m. because as it turned I was the 11th person on his list to be seen.

I am sick and tired of this type of treatment by the front desk staff. This type of delay had occurred several times but this one eased so blatant. I missed a plane on one occasion and today I missed a very important appointment.

Unfortunately, it seems that if you are non- Hispanic or don't speak Spanish you are pushed to the back, like I've been on occasions. I'm sure this is not the kind of service that Jackson expects from its staff and i hope that it stops!

Community smiles at Lindsay Hopkins has been an beyond amazing place. From the front desk girl ( Denise & CeCe) to my Dentist "Dr. Marlene Moreira" and her assistant "Ashley Meeks" they all have been in short a 10 out of 10 in everything from customer service, promptness, and overall Dental care. I have the opportunity to have been going to "Community Smiles " for years and have seen nothing but progress and the warm welcoming feeling I receive from the staff. Over the years, I have gone through different dental teams which all have been great. However, the team I have now "Dr.Moreira" and "Ashley Meeks" are by far the most understanding,welcoming, and skillful. And this is coming from a person that comes late at times or always breaking work they have done etc. But regardless I get nothing but smiles and that welcome feeling that means the world to me. Like most dental places and work needed a dentist office can be a scary place and maybe a uncomfortable event. Definitely not here since I have had "Dr. Moreira" and "Ashley Meeks" I actually fall asleep on the chair. Personally, that's a major sign of "major" personal trust. Sadly, as I wrote this review I caught a review written from today the same day I was there and even with the same person I had over my chair attending to my dental needs. Respectfully, that person that wrote that bad review "couldn't be more wrong" though I don't know Ashley Meeks personally I have had her assist with my dental care as well as see her in passing she is always happy & helpful. I have to strongly disagree with that poor incorrect opinion of Ms. Meeks she has expressed nothing but care, helpfulness, and the best of best skills. I really are not one to speak up or go against someone's else's opinion. But when someone is wrong they are wrong. I have had Ashley Meeks over my chair assisting far longer then most and know/trust how pleasant of a person she is throughout.. Kudos to Ms. Ashley Meeks, Dr Moreira, even the the girls in front ( Denise & CeCe ) as well as upper management for improving Community Smiles to the amazing place it is its nothing short of extraordinary they and the place are just a true blessing .

In Community Smiles my dental problems have always been solved in accurate way, with a very professional smiling team, especially Dr. Alejandra Ortiz and Dr Moreno. That's why I absolutely recomend this place!!!!.

If instead of 1 month waiting for your dentures to be done you want to wait 4 or 5 month this is a right place. Lab chronically behind schedule at list 2 week, also they didn't work holidays and when school is out. It doesn't make different if you pay cash. No discounts, no speed ups! They will never tell you about it. I check few other places before I came here and if I knew about it I would definitely choose another clinic, for example Nova University. They just set my next appointment. Today is 12.20.17, my next visit was set on 01.24.18 and final on 02.14.18. I am so PISSED! My advise - choose another clinic. Pay extra $200 and get it done in your lifetime!

Customer service is very rude. The receptionist are very rude and do what they want not what they are suppose to do and it's on going. Very disrespectful. We were told today because we asked a question that she didnt have to justify her jib to us because we actually seen we were skipped so sad that grown adults act thus way.

Those positive reviews are probably fake and not real. Some people from the management are nasty and liars ,and some of the doctors are unprofessional. They wasted a lot of time of my life . and cause me a mental distress. I have a lot of bad things to say about them.
