This place needs different personal and/or directo...

This place needs different personal and/or directors. I had two ultrasounds done on 12/3 for a large cyst. CHCB received the results on 12/7, and they said they dont have it. Because I haven't heard anything, I called on12/18 NWMC for them to re-fax my results to CHCB, and they did. I have been calling CHCB daily since 12/18, sometimes 2 times a day for someone to call me back about my results and NOTHING!!! No one call, no one email, no one letter. It is more than disrespectful and aggravating for me, the patient. They are leaving tomorrow, 12/24, and pretty much they are not coming back until 12/28. This is such a poor quality of care. Because giving the results to your patients is also part of the care.

Update* I had no other choice than to go in person to get my results on 12/24. After waiting 30+ minutes because they couldn't find the Ultrasounds' result, the receptionist gave me a copy of the findings; however, I had to wait until Tuesday (12/29) for a doctor to call me to tell me what the results were.

It has been more than weeks ago, never receive a single call from providers/Nurses/MAs about my dad blood test reports.
Living in Burlington, VT long time ago never have such issues the care our family get from the CHCB.
Poor leadership! Poor medical services! in our community.
This needs to be changed the entire leadership operation of CHCB.
My opinion! As well as I heard from people all the staffs and providers are under paid. This is insane!...!! Find highly qualified staffs, nurses, MAs and providers and then $$$ paid them highly as per the demands, cost of living in Vermont area. So that, all the staffs will definitely work harder becuz that s how they get paid $$$ right. Remember! We are all living in 21 century...!!The World is changing...!!! CHCB is changing...??? Say! Our people is listening...!!!

After being forgotten in the waiting room I though...

After being forgotten in the waiting room I thought my problems with this place couldn t get worse.

Then I learned the request for my sleep study was done improperly and I had to have another inquiry done and would have to wait over a month to start my sleep study and possibly not feel like trash every day.

In addition, my medication dose was never updated with my insurance provider so now I have to pay out of pocket for something I shouldn t cause people can t do their job.

Honestly fed up with this entire place and how it operates. I ve felt like no one cares or wants to help me for years. Incredibly frustrating and the fact they were closed on Saturday for some reason only made it worse.

My doctor is Dr. Dorwart. I want to start by sayi...

My doctor is Dr. Dorwart. I want to start by saying that I have always found her to be kind and competent. I have no issue with the care that I received when I receive care. My problem began when I started having a chronic health issue that required me to be referred for testing at another office. The appointment I had with Dr Dorwart was a zoom appointment, and while I understand why this is necessary unfortunately my issue isn't one that can be diagnosed through a computer, the nerve pain I'm experiencing in my arm is something that requires a physical examination. she listens to my complaints and told me that she'd be giving me a referral to get a test on my nerve that will allow us to find out where along my arm the pain is originating from. We can't go forward with treatment or diagnosis until we have this information. This appointment was on November 5th, it is now February 11th. I have not received an appointment for this test yet. I called my doctor's office in January and was told to call the Neuroscience of department at UVM where the referral is for. I called them and they said they hadn't even received the referral yet. I then called my insurance company to see if there was a hang up there and they haven't received the referral yet for approval. This is two months after the referral was supposed to have been put in. I called my doctor's office back and they told me they tried to send it through on December 29th. Almost 2 months after the initial appointment. when I asked why it took so long for me to send the referral in no one really knew. I called my insurance back and they gave me a number that I could give to my doctor where she could reach someone at the insurance office that could walk her through how to appropriately put in a referral. I then called my doctor's office back and gave them that number,. every time during this 45 minute period that I called my doctor's office I spoke to a different person and that person had no idea what I was talking about. There's clearly a lack of communication between everyone in that office. I was told that they would give the number to my primary care physician and they get it sorted out. it's now been over a month and I still haven't received my appointment, and in the meantime the pain has not gotten so bad that I can no longer properly use my right arm to do things like brush my hair or brush my teeth especially in the morning. I can't sleep longer than 20 minutes at a time without being woken up in pain and it's becoming increasingly difficult to work my job. Unfortunately without a medical diagnosis or a doctor's note I can't go on light duty or take time off without risk of being fired. on top of that this is a work-related repetitive stress injury and I can't seek any type of workman's comp until I get a formal diagnosis. at the end of the day I think that they are doing the best they can but that this office is too overwhelmed and the doctors have too many patients and if you are looking for a place to help you seek a difficult diagnosis this is not it. I will be exploring options for changing my primary care physician.

This review is for the customer service/billing de...

This review is for the customer service/billing department only. I scheduled an annual physical with CHCB's South End Health Center location in November 2020. This is a preventative care appointment covered by my insurance at no out-of-pocket cost to me. I made sure to confirm there would be no out of pocket expenses when I called and made the appointment, and I was assured there would not be. As a new patient (and new to Vermont), I had to schedule two appointments; the first as an initial visit, and the second for the actual physical. During the second week in December, I received a bill in the mail from CHCB with a balance due of $108.00. My health insurance company advised this is a new patient visit fee billed by CHCB (of which is not covered under health insurance). I was advised to get in touch with CHCB to either have the billing code changed, or to waive the fee as I was informed when I made the appointment there would be no out of pocket expenses. These are hard times and an unanticipated $100+ expense is a lot for me. In addition, if had I known there would be a new patient fee, I would have explored other options in the area for my annual physical. Since December 12, 2020, I have called the billing department 4 times and each time am informed that I have to speak with the billing supervisor. I leave a message with a call center agent each time, requesting a call back. Last week (January 21, 2021) I finally received a voicemail from Anna, a billing department supervisor. I called back the following day and of course, wasn't able to get through to her. It has taken me well over one month to get a call back from anyone. How is this ok?

Now, the $108 fee is 30 days past due and I have yet to actually talk to someone who has the authority to do something about a fee that I was not properly informed about. The amount of time it has taken for me to actually talk to someone is, quite frankly, unnacceptable and does not leave me feeling valued as a new patient.

They keep deleting my reviews! Wonder why? Truth hurts!

AGAIN TODAY 1.18.21 we've waited 3 weeks for an inhouse appointment with Dr. Martinez. Family members took time off from work for this appointment to get some answers and this morning we get a call that it has to be a zoom appointment and the time needs to be moved to later today. The call was rescheduled for 2:30 and no link emailed, no call. nothing. We call the front desk and they tell us Dr. Martinez isn't even working today!!!!!!!!!! Don't bother with their formal grievance process-it's a joke. They mail you a letter saying they looked into it and found no basis for the complaint LOL

I am very pleased with upstairs and downstairs at CHC. Infact here is a video of me singing Oasis Wonderwall dedicated to Wayne, Olive and EKG heroine, However my story of painful toothache must have gone out one ear and the other, who decided not to schedule with Dr. Stuart dental. I was told there was no appointment. Now I have to find an emergency dentist.
