awesome outing!! some exhibits are closed of course because cooler weather
...but absolutely still worth seeing the lights and show at night. great experience
I love it so much.I would love to work there.I didn't want to leave
Great Zoo! Deffinetly worth getting a membership if you can visit more than twice a year.
Such a great zoo. The staff were amazing and helped us out on many occasions.
A must visit place in Columbus. Worth one day trip. Online ticket has discount.
Me and my friend went there and there was a bunch of animals out but still a lot of them were not out... So I will try going out to the zoo when it is warmer.
I always enjoy my time here at the zoo. Tonight we went to zoo lights for ohio health employees. What a wonderful way to say thank you! Tonight we road the merry-go-round and drank hot chocolate while watching the Manatees. Amazing night!
We stopped here and the Wilds after enjoying them being featured on Disney+. It was worth the trip for us and we had a great time. Fed a giraffe and watched the cheetah run. Thats a fast kitty. Very nice zoo and the exhibits are awesome.
Amazing zoo with great exhibits! The nocturnal hike area has really unique signs with the animal info, definitely worth checking out.
Proud to have one of the best Zoo experiences in the world here in Central Ohio. Social distancing was implemented effectively. Wife and son did the backstage experience at the new sea lion exhibit. They could not stop talking about how amazing it was all day. Get to this Zoo if you can, you will not be disappointed.
Loved the Zoo. I felt bad for the tigers. Their enclosure is right along the road, that had alot of traffic noise.
Lololololololol went for zoo lights, probably the last trip I make. To crowded, rude people, the amount of kids that had been split from there parents is very sad.
I love the Columbus zoo!!! My family and I go several times a year.
Has a bunch of differant animals you can see and will love to cone back
A little late in the season everything was closed but still had an awesome time thanks Jack Hanna
Great Staff and very helpful. Very Clean, Found Exhibits easy to view all animals. Children Friendly. One of the best Zoo's in the USA.
Great place to get outside and enjoy the animals and your family. I highly recommend the zoo to anyone
One of, if not THE, best zoos I have been to, and I have been to many across the country. Excellent layout and crowd-control makes even busy days not feel like the place is packed. Lots to see and do, and educational for people of all ages. Highly recommended!!
PS, the Asian Small Clawed Otters are MUST SEE!!
Even though it's winter and the temperature was below freezing all day, this Zoo is ABSOLUTELY worth your time!!! The docents at this venue are POSITIVELY highly informed and each one we spoke to today loved telling the story of their areas of interest!!! We learned so much from these people!!! It's amazing how in depth their knowledge is and how willing they are to share the passion for the animals!!!
We WILL go back!!!
I love the Columbus Zoo. The animals are well taken care of and the area is so clean.
It is a beautiful place to visit with your family. I loved it.
I've been coming here for 35 years. It keeps getting better.
Really nice zoo to visit with plenty of things to see and do. All exhibits were well taken care of and everything was clean.
They have zoo ambassadors walking around that can help you and all are extremely nice and smiling.
Very large area so plenty of walking but there is a tram from the entrance to distance parts of the park.
It was fun going to christmas in july. Since we went early, it was not as hot. The zoo is a nice place. I get a bit upset at how much everything else costs. For example $3 to feed the giraffe is a bit steep. So is $7 for a camel ride and to pay for stingray bay is ridiculous. I am comparing this to other zoos around the country because i have been to ALOT of them. And $10 to park is really a rip.
However the train and boat rides priced are comparable. It is a large zoo with lots to see. The show is great and the talks from the zoo keepers are good.
I believe the talks they use to give at close encounters were really good but that seems yo have gone by the wayside for more rides. They really need to bring some of that back so the children can learn more about the animals they see versus just seeing them. And please don't charge for this. Other zoos do not. Columbus zoo feels more commercialized to me than their interest to teach the children/patrons.
I really enjoyed the whole park I love animals and the water park was fun for my grands
Love our annual visit. It is always such a delight.
Loved my visit I wish Buffalo would do something with our so called zoo; animals always seem unhappy
We were treated to a zoo visit by our daughter and her husband (grandkids, too!) to see the Christmas light display. There were music programs to make the big feature display "dance." Plenty of photo material! Only 'down' side was the gazillion other people who were there, but it is a time to share
So much fun, we especially loved the dinosaur ride (which is extra) and the gorillas were very active which was a lot of fun
If you live in Columbus or nearby, buy a membership, arrive at 9am to beat the heat and crowds and leave around noon/whenever. We do this as a regular summer weekend activity. We have also arrived at 4pm, post crowds mostly, and had Zoo happy hour(s) until they close at 7pm (in the summer). Kids and adults have equal fun!
Our family love the Columbus Zoo and Aquraium it's a great place and it you look in the right places the gift shop has an amazing clearance section.
I love bringing my family to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. There is something for everyone! We are looking forward to the newest addition!
My favorite zoo. Staff is always friendly and there is so much to see and do. Don't miss the heart of Africa exhibit.
Being from the Cincy area, I only have that zoo to compare. That being said, I like the Columbus zoo a little bit better. Be prepared to walk tour a** off. It took us 3 1/2 hours to go through each area, and we skipped some stuff. Paid 9 bucks for a Great Lakes Oktoberfest. That's the price of a six pack of the same . Oh well, i guess its for a good cause
The Zoo... they just do things right. See you there soon!
Not a great job on social distancing and COVID, cages for animals are small, but they are doing some great things for animals
If you dont want to be run over by strollers, rammed into by over eager children, and overhear the obnoxious conversations teenagers then this is not the place for you. If you can handle all of that in small doses than the lights are quite nice.
Summer drive-in series has been really wonderful! Very well run... so much better than a regular drive-in! Wish it was going all summer long!
Possibly the best zoo I have ever gone to. The zoo is huge, the variety of animals, is awesome, and the staff are very pleasant and knowledgeable. I have been here miltiple times and have not had a bad experience ever. Great zoo and great place to take the family.
Great family friendly time. They take great care of the animals and they make it a easy fun experience for the customers. Will be back in the future.
