Very friendly and respectful staff. Very efficient and affordable services as well. A wonderful resource for the Columbus community.
The "womens health clinic" (i went on a weds from 1-5 pm) was terrible. They leave the "unopened" needles in a box in the room right by the biohazard box and they leave them to where ANYONE can get them. Im aboslutley terrified now because im so scared the needle was used not to mention they had to use 3 needles 1 in which they got from somewhere else and i didnt get to watch them open it. Then the women that drew my husbands blood (im a hypochondriac) my husband told her about me buying the home tests. And she comes in my room going off on me. I just wanted to get the blood tests done to be for sure. I would NOT recommend this place they make you feel very uncomfortable.

It requires a great amount of effort to travel to Columbus Public Health if you do not drive. They certainly offer many great services to the community but travel to and from that facility will be a challenge for some.
The COTA bus stop [eastbound] at E. Main St. and Allen St. is perhaps 500 feet from the nearest corner of the building but the walking route to the front entrance is approximately three times that distance because people must walk two blocks to the north end of the parking lot, half a block west on an alley [that is shared with cars], up a ramp [that is shared with cars], and then a long distance across the parking lot that is shared with cars].
The COTA bus stop [westbound] at E. Main St. and Parsons Ave. is also 500 feet from the nearest corner of the building but the walking route to the front entrance from that COTA bus stop is shorter, more complicated, and is not shared with cars.
I meet every two months with a committee at Columbus Public Health that focuses on safety for pedestrians and for others who use non-motorized transportation [and therefore are more vulnerable than those who use motorized transportation].
It is ironic to be discussing pedestrian safety at a building that is so pedestrian-unfriendly.
Krogers on Parson Ave. Found google review 5 years ago calling the store RAT Krogers and just now ya guys shut the the grocery store down and only for what ? 24 hours! I'm gonna make a huge fuss over this one because I've shopped there for a lot of years I've never liked to shop there but I was close to my home
Every day I go to restaurants or fast food restaurants that is and see people not wearing facemasks. When I called the health department they told me I had to do some kind of filing of a report. Literally every fast food restaurant in central Ohio does not have proper facemask etiquette. Yet I ve got to go in and individually fill out a report. What are we paying these people for. Is there anything the health department could be doing right now that is more important than getting on their cars and going out and checking this out? I have a friend in Las Vegas Nevada their health department takes phone calls and immediately checks it out. Columbus health department sucks
Dr. Deskin is the best dentist in Ohio, bar none. This doctor took care of me and took my pain seriously. Not once was I condescended to, no one rolled their eyes at me. Just great professional care from both doctor and staff. Thank you for making me feel like a real person.
This one star is for April. She is incredibly rude, unpleasant, and unprofessional.
Its funny how the white lady with glasses in the womens health department thinks she knows so much more spanish than a spanish interpreter?!
Just because you took it in school doesn't make you an expert and if she is sooo good then stop calling for spanish interpreters and let her do it!
I think its completely rude and unprofessional to laugh and talk with your co-workers in front of the interpreter saying "she this instead of that." How does she know your first language is English!! Also half the time the patients cannot understand you because of your accent.
Please do your job which is checking in patients thats what you get paid to do and let the HIRED SPANISH INTERPRETERS do thier job.

It be great if they had better communication with the people who give out information over the phone. I called in AM around 9 to ask the hours for the day I was told 8:00 am to 2:15 pm no lunch break. We got there at 10:30 am and the moody lady said we open at 10 it s already closed for the day we only day as we only have 1 nurse on staff you should be here 1 hr before opening as we do have a long line we drove 30 minutes I m sure you guys can do better job communicating this information to us.

The actual Nurse practitioners of the sexual health clinic I've met there are all professional and kind people, however... beware of the receptionists and assistant health aids... they are very very unprofessional at times. After having 2 new sexual partners and wanting to be retested, I was literally told "you haven't even waited 3 months since your last test and you are basically wasting resources"... I've also been left in the waiting room after everyone went home. So just make sure you stay on top of them and be prepared for the potentially rude assistant health aids.

No line to enter, safety was first priority throughout the whole building. Some services (emergency dental) require early arrival approximately 730am
THE WOMENS HEALTH....The worst place to go for health related issue. The most unprofessional health facility i have ever been in in my whole entire life, VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY disrespectful stuff, wait time waaaaay too off from what is. scheduled. The stuff , the two Spanish girls at the receptionist desk so sarcastic , very disrespectful and laugh at you all the time you are there and the most important the CNP doesn't know what she doing. no. no no. do not go. at you risk

Went to get a new birth certificate and the ladys there were so nice, friendly and helpful. That place has some great employees
They stop answering phones before closing time. Great!!!
Went for a root canal. Website said they do them there. Front desk took my money and once I went back they told me they don't perform root canals! Totally felt robbed. Took my money and didn't help me at all.
Don t recommend taking anyone or going to drug and alcohol program. The staff that works there very unprofessional specially Joe Tercer.
Needed to see which of my vaccinations are out of date and they want me to drive all the way there and wait hours just for that information. Any other developed nation in the world would've answered the phone and had the information ready. Guess I'll find out which vaccines I needed after I get a the diseases. India here I come!
This place is the best place to get your shot. Nevertheless, the wait time is very long, in my case, it was 3 hours.

I went in thinking that the dental clinic was going to help me but i left in more pain than I went in with. Please save yourself the pain and hassle and go somewhere else.
Personally, I had a great experience at CPH. The only reason why I rate it 4/5 is because of the wait time. Other than that, the people who work there are extremely nice, considerate, and understanding.
They are quite disrespectful , have a attitude early in the morning for no reason.!

I went for a cleaning and consultation for my wisdom teeth. They took my money in front desk and did absolutely nothing. I saw the dentist for 5 minutes and did not perform anything. I'm still in shock!! If they don't do extractions I understand but I was expecting at least to get a general consultation of my teeth and cleaning. Im so upset
