Columbia Steel, Inc. Review

At first glance this place seems very cool.
Once you past the nice office personnel which seems family oriented and then you get into the shop, its well organized seems like some of the welders there are underpaid.
Starting pay is 15 dollars an hour from what i was told and starting with an AWS cert is $18 which is a joke to be honest. Doesn't seem like being talented pays here oh well on to the next.

Not a good place to do business with. This place is ran by a person who only cares about money and not employees. They let people go just to hire someone who they can pay less to do the same job. I got fired after 13 yrs and it was all because my foreman had a personal problem with me. He even told people that i was his next personal project that was he was going to try to make me quit or fire me. D.P. are the initials of the foreman who does not care about his employees or his own bosses. Senority means nothing at this company and the pay scale is equal to a sweatshop.

This shop is practically a sweat shop considering the wages they pay their employees for all the physical labor that you're doing. I would give it zero stars if I was able to
