This is a poor Columbia Housing service . I been trying to reach them on phone since last year and I finally talked to someone on July 26, 2021 about my assistant to get back on Housing so she told me and my sister what i needed to do and i did what she told me then after that i was checking about my application online and it said can't found one under my SS number so i been calling and leaving message with the service line for a call back and that don't happen.Don't get no answer are call back when you apply online ....

Raggedy. Poorly run. Very limited resources. Maintenance is a joke. No effort to really help anyone. Communication and community outreach is horrible. Slow is the norm. You have to stalk them for results. Even worse since Covid.

We couldn't get in and they don't answer the phone.

I've called several times no one answered also I took upon a home buying class me and my husband did and took there budget and credit class we where not told we had to have two separate tickets witch makes no since me and my husband only taking it to get assistance for down payment assistance to buy our home now we are being told we have to take the same classes we took twice we have to take it again because we had trouble logging in the class we where only 28 seconds late because we had trouble connecting into the class we ask will it affect us we were told no and now she saying we have to take both the classes over because my husband need his own credit and I need my own credit I wanted to file a complaint no one answered and also tried to file a complaint about my apartment complex that is trying to charge us for fixing appliances witch it do not state we have to in our lease at apm realty group at piney Grove town homes hope someone sees this

I ve been trying to get in touch with the housing Authority. However they haven t been answering thier phones. I talk to the operator but to no avail. I m currently homeless and I m trying to do everything in my power to survive and it s very disheartening when you really trying to change your life around and then here come another hurdle. I ve call more then 20 times if not more. I believe it its time for a change because people who really bust their behind just to got to work just to sleep on the streets and continue to call them and thier not answering it s very heartbreaking. Update as of September 20. Still being told all they can do is pass the message. Im on my last leg. I m trying so hard to hold out but I don t think I m gonna survive. Help.

Do yourself a favor and do not interview with them. They will tell you one thing and then do another. You would be better off flipping hamburgers.

I know that they are renovating, but where are the workers? Is there anyone that you can talk to. Everyone is missing in action and no one returns your calls. This is the first bad experience that I have had with Housing Choice Voucher Department. The Housing Authority is
Completely Shut Down. Even the Gmail doesn't work

No one never answers phone calls, They have transfer management each year of our property to a different management, They have change my rent three times and someone from maintenance or security keeps braking and entering apartment taking items from apartment and each time I call police RCSD they keep saying there is no force entry at front door so CHA keeps making me out of a fool because someone keeps using a key and breaking into apartment. Then someone with some type of authority never calls about what happening with the new management. I feel like these are the people that have been breaking in all the time. And not ms woods and them who had property before.

They have a great team of people that really care about the residents! A wonderful group of folks to work with :)
